“Tucked away from the main strip of garland rd, and even Shiloh rd, exists a lunch spot that's an oasis among the taquerias and industrial businesses. Walking in, I saw this place mostly specializes in their fresh baked bread. You can buy whole loaves of bread, and they even put out samples of the focaccia. The sample of focaccia bread was absolutely Divine. Spongy like a focaccia should be, with fresh olives baked on top, Right amount of olive oil in the mix. I ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich, and I was not disappointed. Some vegetables, the bread is truly the crown Jewel of the meal. Fluffy soft inside, Father toasted crackly outside. The chipotle sauce they use is out of this world! It's clearly made in house, and it has this bright lemony flavor that never fades. They don't add that much meat in this breakfast sandwich, but for $7, it's hard to complain. I came back an hour later because I couldn't stop thinking about the focaccia bread! It was just as good as the sample I had, except with more olives!! Because I was in the mood for dessert, I also ordered the oatmeal cranberry cookie. I had a feeling they made it in house, so I figured it was going to be pretty good. Pretty good is an understatement. I will gladly come back when in the area and when they're open!“

“Promised to come back for another meal since the first visit ended in being disappointed due to limpy fries and a dry burger. So 2nd visit was guarded. Ordering here is a pain. Everyone wants something different so it slows the ordering process to a snail crawl. Ordered a Monster Burger. Dry. Fries are not crisp at all, they are as limp as before. What's with limp fries? Meat is tasteless. The need to go to Culver's to compare what a burger should taste like. My wife had a Hotdogs. It was very good but again limp fries. On a scale of 5 and 5 bring superb..we would rate our meal as a 2 and it's our last visit. I will stick with Culver's and Boots Burgers for burgers.“

“We haven't tried Zanata's in 6 yrs Last time we were there wasn't a great experience. But, with that being said THEY have redeemed themselves. Arrived around 5:30p on a Wed night No wait at all. The atmosphere has changed, looks larger than we remembered. Probably from the exit of Fatted Calf location they expanded. The server was very attentive and made sure we knew about specials. Along with a glass of Moscato, and Ultra we started with an appetizer. We ordered the bruschetta platter.Came with three pieces with varied ingredients. The bacon grape jam was our favorite. And the leafy greens came with a tomato sauce dressing. It was so favorable. We got more to go with our entrees. Hubby got Italian Chicken Alfredo with fresh asparagus. I got the Wood fired chicken pizza. Both were cooked to perfection. We ended the dinner with a flourless chocolate cake, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on side. When I tell you it melted in your mouth, it definitely melts in your mouth. We were so impressed on the changes. Keep up the great service and the amazing food. We WILL be back!“

“Absolutely amazing!!! The owner, Bill (I believe), was the sweetest. We told him we were traveling to Greece in a few months and he went out of his way to sit down to gave us all his knowledge for the best trip. He even went to the back and printed off taxi information for us!Not to mention the food. Absolutely delicious!! The Dolmas was particularly incredible. My fiancé and I sat there the whole time not believing how amazing it was.“

“Came on Friday around 6pm, wasn't busy yet, we got seated right away. Menu is pretty extensive with lots to choose from. For appetizers, we ordered the bao buns. Each bun is super soft with a thick slice of pork belly marinated in bulgogi sauce. My husband ordered the Thai pineapple fried rice, he loved it. It's served in a pineapple with fresh chunks of pineapple mixed into the dish. I ordered the ramen with shrimp, broth isn't salty like most ramen places, it balances nicely with the other ingredients in the ramen. The shrimp are lightly coated with tempura (I think?) and they inlcude plenty of pieces in the ramen. We also got the New York Rolls, very delish & generously filled with seafood. My one complaint was the disinterested answer that Sandy gave when my husband asked which would she recommend- Thai pineapple fried rice or Japanese fried rice- she snapped a bit and answered a very curt " I don't know what you like! If you like pineapple get the Thai if you don't like pineapple, get the other one!" It didn't really answer the question of which one she recommends or thinks is better...if she had not tried either dish & can't give a good recommendation, she could've answered that way. The snippy response with mild attitude seemed uncalled for...overall, great food, fast service, would come back again...don't ask recommendations from Sandy...“

“Meshack's is a throwback to delicious, smoked, and moist BBQ. The family owned and operated business makes you feel like part of their family. Mr. Travis and the family have served over 500 meals to my employees and we have enjoyed every lip-smacking bite. My favorite is their ribs....but it's ALL GREAT.“

I regularly meet people here for buisness networking and everyone always comments on how adorable it is and think it must have been here a long time because of the 1950s charm. The hot chocolate comes with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup and the omlettes are outstanding. “Not gonna lie, I went because of the pan dulce lol. I miss pan dulce so much so to be able to order from a case full of vegan pan dulce was amazing and we did go a little overboard lol. First off, the staff was amazing. They have a lot of protein choices so we were asking about them and they offered to let us try them…so we picked out 4 and they brought samples. We liked the al pastor and the fajita the best. We got the loaded fries, the elote, and horchata. The loaded fries with the fajita protein was so good and the elote was good too but it came in a cup and did feel like it was missing something. One complaint I did have was that our food and drink all came in styrofoam and this was for dining in too…so that was a bummer.“

“This place is in our neighborhood, so we decided to give it a try for lunch today (Sunday). Nice interiors, very clean and inviting. We ordered to go and the food came pretty quickly. I ordered the Gordita Caseras Plate, with two Carne Asada and one Chicken. It came with a side of rice, a slice of onion and tomato and shredded cabbage. Also came with a small container of both red and green salsa. It was good everything was fresh and tasty. Chicken was a little bit bland, but the salsas added a nice touch. We also ordered the Quesa Barilla w/ beef. I have never eaten anything like this before. The bread was somewhere between a thin slice of cornbread and and a flour tortilla. The texture of the bread was perfect for soaking up the consomme (sauce) that came with it and the shredded beef was delish. We also got a trompe taco and beef cheek (barbacoa) taco. They were both excellent. They were also very accommodating to switch the menu from Spanish to English based on who is ordering. So excited to have it in our neighborhood and brought home the menu so we can all ahead take out orders. There are so many things on the menu we want to try, so will be back soon. We are pretty regular Mex Mex eaters, and had not encountered many of the items here. Keep up the good work Don Pepe!“

“This location has wonderful views of the lake and harbor area. The only downside seems to be the burger patties. This location seems to have patties that consistently crumble apart. When trying to eat the burger, it falls apart like it's taco meat on a bun.Flavor is always great, and this time, we tried the loaded cheddar fries (cheese fries surprise), and man, they were good.Parking: Depending on the day or time of day the parking lot can be very difficult to find parking.“

“Everything I have ordered there has been delicious - usually order the gyro or gyro salad. Have ordered many of the appetizers as well. The only problem I've ever had is that sometimes the wait staff doesn't know how to handle a coupon that has been texted to the customer from the restaurant. Otherwise, everything has been great. Small, intimate dining room. I think Onassis in Rockwall is owned by same person because the menu looks identical ( at least it did when they 1st opened). It was slightly more expensive by about a dollar on some items so have just stuck with Opa.“

“My husband and I haven’t been to Olive Garden in over six years due to a poor experience. Also, we would much rather prefer going out for steak and other delectable foods. However, we decided to try Olive Garden one more time on a whim. Since I am pregnant it’s been hard to find places to eat so that’s another reason we suddenly chose Olive Garden. Our experience at the Mesquite location exceeded our expectations. There was a slight issue about the wait for our food, however we didn’t have a chance to complain because the Manager Marty took care of everything. She came to our table, explained what happened and offered a complimentary dessert and a gift card to invite us back for a better experience. She was really kind and professional. She took care of the problem before it even began. Our server Saint did his best to make sure we were comfortable. We brought our toddler and he had his food right away which definitely helped. The chef came by as well to deliver our food and to make sure we were okay with quality. It is very rare to have great service like this at a restaurant, which is quite impressive. And for a manager to take care of an issue before it became a problem. We definitely will be going back and recommending this place to our friends and family! Great Job guys!“

“This is my 2nd time here. I ordered a classic cheese slice. For the price, I'm happy it came with two slices. The pizza crack seasoning or whatever it's called is unique and tastes good. This is our favorite place for ramen east of the metroplex--there's something for each of us here: the bowls are excellent thanks to their exceptional jasmine rice, which our 6-year-old loves.
