“Visited this spot for the first time for lunch on a Saturday and were very impressed. We ordered the sushi boat for two and it was more than enough food. The ambiance was nice and Damon was an excellent server. We'll be trying one of the Thai dishes on the menu next time.“

“Excellent Texas BBQ. I had the Sampler with Mac&Cheese and Cole Slaw, and everything was exactly as delicious as I had hoped. The service was swift and attentive, even though they hit a mini-rush right before we came in. Met an old buddy and we sat and chat for 2 hrs, and loved all the historical pictures and decorations. Will DEFINITELY eat here again!“

“Cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The restaurant interior is a bit rough with cardboard boxes piled around, but this did not bother us. Also it gets quite smoky inside at least on the popular Saturday evening. The short ribs (la galbi) was excellent and is absolutely worth the small extra fee for the upgraded eat-all-you-can menu. Also the seafood tofu soup was really tasty.“

“We are new to the area and have found one of our favorite places! We always sit at the bar or cocktail and Cody is amazing! Food is incredible and service is perfect! Tonight, there was a small hiccup with our meal. I wouldn’t even call it a hiccup but Cody saw it and made it a big deal to make sure we were happy. We left happy….and very full. “Tucked away from the main strip of garland rd, and even Shiloh rd, exists a lunch spot that's an oasis among the taquerias and industrial businesses. Walking in, I saw this place mostly specializes in their fresh baked bread. You can buy whole loaves of bread, and they even put out samples of the focaccia. The sample of focaccia bread was absolutely Divine. Spongy like a focaccia should be, with fresh olives baked on top, Right amount of olive oil in the mix. I ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich, and I was not disappointed. Some vegetables, the bread is truly the crown Jewel of the meal. Fluffy soft inside, Father toasted crackly outside. The chipotle sauce they use is out of this world! It's clearly made in house, and it has this bright lemony flavor that never fades. They don't add that much meat in this breakfast sandwich, but for $7, it's hard to complain. I came back an hour later because I couldn't stop thinking about the focaccia bread! It was just as good as the sample I had, except with more olives!! Because I was in the mood for dessert, I also ordered the oatmeal cranberry cookie. I had a feeling they made it in house, so I figured it was going to be pretty good. Pretty good is an understatement. I will gladly come back when in the area and when they're open!“

“We haven't tried Zanata's in 6 yrs Last time we were there wasn't a great experience. But, with that being said THEY have redeemed themselves. Arrived around 5:30p on a Wed night No wait at all. The atmosphere has changed, looks larger than we remembered. Probably from the exit of Fatted Calf location they expanded. The server was very attentive and made sure we knew about specials. Along with a glass of Moscato, and Ultra we started with an appetizer. We ordered the bruschetta platter.Came with three pieces with varied ingredients. The bacon grape jam was our favorite. And the leafy greens came with a tomato sauce dressing. It was so favorable. We got more to go with our entrees. Hubby got Italian Chicken Alfredo with fresh asparagus. I got the Wood fired chicken pizza. Both were cooked to perfection. We ended the dinner with a flourless chocolate cake, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on side. When I tell you it melted in your mouth, it definitely melts in your mouth. We were so impressed on the changes. Keep up the great service and the amazing food. We WILL be back!“

Everything on the menu is great, with affordable prices for the amount of food you get. The Thai tea, drunken noodles, lemongrass tofu, red curry, and pad thai are very tasty. “The food is incredible and the portions are so generous. Bread pudding is an absolute MUST. I'm a girl who loves food but the service is literally like nothing I have ever experienced. I mean, two visits recently and we feel like family. The owners seem to truly love to be there when they could just be chillin at home making $$$. I remember coming here a while back but saw the same guy working. I asked how long he has been there and he said 10 years! That seems unheard of so they must be doing something right with their employees. They did all seem to love their job. The atmosphere is cozy, lit well, with great music too. Very clean. There are ZERO complaints. Wish I could afford to come once a week at least!“

“My boyfriend and I stop in for lunch every time we have lunch together during the week (about 3 times a month). We are NEVER disappointed with the cheesy cheesesteak and onion rings. “Came on Friday around 6pm, wasn't busy yet, we got seated right away. Menu is pretty extensive with lots to choose from. For appetizers, we ordered the bao buns. Each bun is super soft with a thick slice of pork belly marinated in bulgogi sauce. My husband ordered the Thai pineapple fried rice, he loved it. It's served in a pineapple with fresh chunks of pineapple mixed into the dish. I ordered the ramen with shrimp, broth isn't salty like most ramen places, it balances nicely with the other ingredients in the ramen. The shrimp are lightly coated with tempura (I think?) and they inlcude plenty of pieces in the ramen. We also got the New York Rolls, very delish & generously filled with seafood. My one complaint was the disinterested answer that Sandy gave when my husband asked which would she recommend- Thai pineapple fried rice or Japanese fried rice- she snapped a bit and answered a very curt " I don't know what you like! If you like pineapple get the Thai if you don't like pineapple, get the other one!" It didn't really answer the question of which one she recommends or thinks is better...if she had not tried either dish & can't give a good recommendation, she could've answered that way. The snippy response with mild attitude seemed uncalled for...overall, great food, fast service, would come back again...don't ask recommendations from Sandy...“

“There's nothing fancy about Dallas Diner. A small place with a few tables on the inside, patio tables outside, and several stools at the counter. The menu is classic diner fare with daily specials. In addition to the extensive regular menu there are menus for kids and seniors. My friend and I ordered off the senior menu. We both had eggs over easy and pancakes. She had bacon, I had the sausage patty. We both had coffee. Everything was prepared as ordered and tasty. And, to my surprise, filling. Service was cheerful, attentive, and helpful. Parking directly in front can be tight but there is adequate parking close by. A great place for breakfast. I'll try lunch another day.“

I regularly meet people here for buisness networking and everyone always comments on how adorable it is and think it must have been here a long time because of the 1950s charm. The hot chocolate comes with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup and the omlettes are outstanding. I get mine with a side of biscuits which are, in my opinion, amazing. 10/10 would come here again. And again.“

Food seems more expensive for the quantity given. I ordered nachos and tasted good but cost is high for the quantity given. So make your own choice on the food…. “Not gonna lie, I went because of the pan dulce lol. I miss pan dulce so much so to be able to order from a case full of vegan pan dulce was amazing and we did go a little overboard lol. First off, the staff was amazing. They have a lot of protein choices so we were asking about them and they offered to let us try them…so we picked out 4 and they brought samples. We liked the al pastor and the fajita the best. We got the loaded fries, the elote, and horchata. The loaded fries with the fajita protein was so good and the elote was good too but it came in a cup and did feel like it was missing something. One complaint I did have was that our food and drink all came in styrofoam and this was for dining in too…so that was a bummer.“

Unlike the national chain up the street, these tacos are loaded with fresh, perfectly seasoned gound beef, lots of grated cheese, and a fair portion of lettuce. All served in a crispy shell that doesn't get soggy by the time you get your order home. I have only ordered via the drive-through window, but what I can see of the kitchen is that it appears to be kept neat & clean. The employees are quick to get the order out, friendly and courteous.“
