“Family owned business. They were very friendly and quite accommodating. We arrived at a time when most of their staff had left for the evening, but they still managed to hook us up with burgers and drinks. It was a little pricey, but I was willing to overlook that since it was a holiday weekend.”

“The counter is where all the action is. We talked to a local and the waitresses while watching the action. The entire staff is a well oiled machine, working together to serve a high volume at high quality. Can't wait to be back.”

Bring your laptop and zone out on studies or work! There isn't a drive-thru but it's still so much faster then the other shops in town. Highly recommend giving them a try!”

“We attended the latest wine pick-up party last Sunday 2/18/24. The day was absolutely beautiful, we chatted with some delightful couples, and we enjoyed the spuds and chili. We leisurely strolled the wine tasting and, as usual, it didn't disappoint in the least...even the new varietals. "Well done, Perissos!" We've been members of other area winery clubs, but Perissos is our only home now.”

“We were looking for some coffee in marble falls in the afternoon and this seemed to be one of the few options. It's drive through only from what I could tell. It went fairly fast despite the line and the service was very friendly. I liked the coffee I got (latte w oat milk) and would go again if in the area.”

So I chose the chicken bento box and it was everything I remembered of enjoying bento box food! For what one gets, the price was great! Bentos are the way to go to experience a bit of Japanese food. Nothing was greasy as it can be with fried foods but no evidence of oil! May be lots to eat but I devoured it! Nice to see steady stream of late lunch or very early evening dinners coming in! “Easy to miss this little dive amongst all the small businesses surrounding 1431 in Kingsland, but made it my first destination of the day due to a recommendation as the best traditional Mexican restaurant in Kingsland. Firstly, this is a cash only (ATM within) and BYOB establishment. For the latter, no bar and I assume one can bring their own drinks but did not see anyone drinking beer. With 14 4 tops, the place is tiny and looks to be well managed and great staff. No frills dining interior but clean and plethora of decor. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The menu is surprisingly very large so would be great to see how a small place executes during peak times. Traditional options only so if you're looking for fancy, this is not it. I ordered the tortilla soup, (3) Verde "green" enchiladas, half plate nachos, guac and queso. The chicken enchiladas were simply outstanding, perfectly seasoned pure white rotisserie chicken, with great tasting refried beans and rice. The verde sauce great. I got the standard queso which was okay. The guac was outstanding. The complimentary chips and salsa were okay. The Nachos need some help and were nothing special for the price $6.99. The soup was outstanding perfectly seasoned and plenty of chicken and avocados. Ticket time for entree was a timely 8min. Overall, I love family owned and operated businesses and recommend this one. While I'm sticking to 4* review, I simply need to come back to try other items for a complete review. Nice job owners. Will be back. Prices for entrees are good.”

“Great place, waitress was very friendly. Great portions, I had the rib eye. Cooked perfect. Definitely coming back. Went to prime junction and had there steak, sorry to say but way over priced, and wanted extras but had to pay for them to. To compare the two, Hoppers is the place to go. You get the whole package. My family enjoyed there food also. I have to try Hoopers breakfast, if anything like dinner it going to be great. Thank you.”

“Absolutely delicious! Eight people in our group, ages 8-43 years and everyone loved their breakfast. Some of the best breakfast tacos/burritos we have ever had. The flour tortillas were to die for. The breakfast plates are pretty big. Couldn’t finish mine but the refried beans ?!! Also the breakfast burritos are a great traditional size, not small, and full of ingredients! We are traveling thru today and so glad we stopped at this food truck! Don’t pass it up, it’s amazing.”

“Man, what can I say, this place has the best tacos and the best salsa of any place I've ever visited and I have lived in Texas for 15+ years. Always friendly, always great food, and always a great value! Sometimes a little slow in the summer months because the secret is out and everybody knows that this is the place to go! “Delicious!!! Fresh ingredients give each flavor an amazing taste! I had to get a second cone to try a couple extra flavors. ? Definitely a great ice cream stop! Tons of fresh fruit and ice cream bars I didn't have room to taste test but I'm sure they're delicious as well.”

“The food has always been very good at Rea's Bar & Grill. All three of us were very satisfied.The meals were served hot with seasoned fries, which were excellent.The only issue we had was that the service was slow. No one asked me if I wanted another adult beverage.We will return to the restaurant. The food is excellent and will not send you to the poor house.”

“Cute café with good food just three miles from Inks Lake State Park. It's attached to a store at a gas station. We had cheeseburgers with choice of cheese on really delicious sourdough buns. Sweet potato fries and cole slaw as sides and one order of hushpuppies a la carte. Everything we had was served fresh and hot. At the start of the meal we were offered complimentary pinto beans and they were delicious too. Sparse gluten free options (burgers w/o bun, salad, loaded baked potato).”

“Lovely local bbq place on our way back from hanging out at Ink Lake State Park. The owners were very friendly and gave our pups a load of chicken for free and gave ice cream to us as well. Good bbq for the price!”

“Great breakfast burritos! This is a true family business. Everyone from the grandparents (Chuspy) down to their grandson works here. I have only been for breakfast but I love it. They are always just enough food and they taste great. You go in and it’s build your own style. I love that I get to pick my favorite options ( I love bacon- sausage- eggs- cheese - with the jalapeno salsa). Next visit I am trying the chorizo! - make the stop support a local place. They are great.”

“This was our first visit. We loved the atmosphere and the fact it wasn't huge. You felt relaxed and casual but the food presentation was on a higher level. The three of us had the scallops, tuna and filet, with the asparagus and Brussel sprouts for sides. We all enjoyed our dishes and will definitely return and recommend.Vegetarian options: The vegi sides were wonderful.”

“The name is a perfect description. No gimmicks, no foo foo. Just good service with a smile with a pretty decent beer selection at pretty decent prices. The wine list is much better than expected too. We got a Rueben sandwich and it made this ex-NYer very happy. Simple picnic tables but on a nice day you can sit on the lawn outside. The atmosphere is simple so don't think this is some sort of 'experience' - it is a really cool, really chill, beer hall with positive vibes.”
