“Stopped for a large French fries on the way home from the beach. For 3 bucks I expected a little larger portion but it was enough to hold me for a little while. The fries were freshly cooked and were hot and delicious. The drive-through staff were pleasant and courteous.“

“In the past year Whataburger has improved tremendously in their fresh made to order burgers but I couldn't give them 5 stars cause they still screw up when it comes to condiments who doesn't want ketchup with their fries or onion rings. Several times I have gotten home with no ketchup or salt and pepper and no napkins. I make it point to check if there in the bag and 9 times out of 10 there are none or they give you spicy instead of regular. I have ketchup at home but I prefer WB ketchup and unfortunately the one at the store is way over priced. You would think with all the money their making off of the markup on their condiments they sell at the grocery stores they could afford to put you a couple of ketchup tubs. JS“
“The friendliest McDonald's I've ever been to. Went through the drive-thru and the ladies taking my order and handing me my order were the nicest, happiest people that I have encountered at a drive-thru. They literally put a smile on my face.“
“Best Dairy Queen around! I live in Corpus but will not order anything from DQ here. The Portland DQ uses fresh oil, the gravy is thick and tastes really good. The fried food tastes the way fried food should! I highly recommend this DQ. Kudos to the owner and staff!“

“Right on 181 at Industrial road in Taft Texas is an old school burger joint from a glorious time in our past. Delicious comfort food and delectable treats made by a family that appreciates quality and value. This establishment recalls a time in our past which gave birth to the original Whataburger (when it was really good) and ambitious car hops on roller skates , diners that filled you with satisfying food. Dairy King delivers fish sandwiches that rival anything you may have experienced. They don't deliver on skates but the filet is large and cooked perfectly in a lightly seasoned thin batter with just the perfect crunch, lovingly moist and delicious. I had a founder sandwich with crinkled fries .. satisfyingly delicious and filling. Look at how large the fillet was on my sandwich! Check the menu, they serve Blue Bell shakes!!“
