“Right on 181 at Industrial road in Taft Texas is an old school burger joint from a glorious time in our past. Delicious comfort food and delectable treats made by a family that appreciates quality and value. This establishment recalls a time in our past which gave birth to the original Whataburger (when it was really good) and ambitious car hops on roller skates , diners that filled you with satisfying food. Dairy King delivers fish sandwiches that rival anything you may have experienced. They don't deliver on skates but the filet is large and cooked perfectly in a lightly seasoned thin batter with just the perfect crunch, lovingly moist and delicious. I had a founder sandwich with crinkled fries .. satisfyingly delicious and filling. Look at how large the fillet was on my sandwich! Check the menu, they serve Blue Bell shakes!!”

“OMG, this place is so amazing! First time here and we got the 3rd wheel, family pack. It came with brisket, sausage, ribs, turkey and three sides (we got brisket beans, elotes and potato salad). I just got my braces tightened the day before and could not chew anything. But, all of the BBQ literally melted in your mouth, it was so soft!!! All of the sides were also delicious! This is by far the best BBQ my family and I have ever eaten!!! Definitely recommend!!!”

“I’m from Minnesota and was vacationing in SPI, TX. Being a Navy veteran and having served in Kingsville had an opportunity to meet an old Navy friend from Houston. Picked this place because of the reviews and both of us were very impressed with the food and service. We both drove 3hrs and I’d definitely do it again just for the food. The waitress explained how everything was made scratch and that knowing how things are made is just as important as bringing your food. Wish I could eat like a horse and try everything. Definitely make it on my list next time I’m in Texas!!!”

“Yall! Peps has the best fajitas of any mexirestaurant I’ve been to in the area. I always get the fajita avocado salad, it’s my favorite menu item. I only have two suggestions, no comino in the rice (it doesn’t need it and it gives that weird after flavor you burp up for a few hours after eating it) and the beans need more flavor. Chop up some onion, tomato, cilantro and bacon or cueritos and they will be bomb. Other than that the food is ?”

“I just had dinner with my Grandmother and everything was spectacular!!!! Our appetizers and entrees came out super quick. All of the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. What we ordered:Crab rangoons, egg drop soup, garlic edamame, shaken beef, jalapeno shrimp, yaki-udon. I also really appreciated the large cups of water provided!My only wish is that I could have ordered an alcoholic drink or glass of wine!!! Bring a sweater it’s bit chilly inside. “We've been there twice. The first time, we got sushi and it was very good. I do want to go back and try their hibachi at some point. But their Chinese entrees are pretty lacking. My husband got the Sesame Chicken, which was overly sweet. I got the General Tso's... it has a chili next to it on the menu, but there is absolutely no spice whatsoever.I think if we only stuck to sushi, I would have given it 5 stars.
