Unprofessional owner will get in your face when you call them out after they told you they were looking in your room when you left. NO LOCKS on DOORS. Stay away, they will rob you after checkin when they complain about dogs they allow you to bring and you request a refund to leave.

This place is quaint, out of the way, and absolutely beautiful. It's a small getaway where you can absolutely unplug. No phones, no tvs. The food is fantastic! And, they have a dog on premises who is adorable.! Come for a stay. You won't regret it!Rooms: Small and quiet.

Remote stylish hotel with pool and restaurant for guests. Excellent accommodations for Coleman County.

We did not stay on the property. We were there for the 5 course dinner. Wish I could give it more stars! What a wonderful evening. Every course was beautifully plated and creative. The staff was friendly and warm. It felt like we were having dinner with old friends. Don't miss admiring the beautiful photography throughout the restaurant. The photographer has a gifted eye in capturing animals with unique framing.

This hotel / bed n breakfast / fancy restaurant is a very interesting and nice blend of very country and very nice. It would be like if you combined the Westin with a dude ranch with a Michelin restaurant. My group was there in January, so as you can see from the pictures, it was very dry/ brown, but im sure in the spring/summer it is gorgeous and green. The rooms are well appointed; the sunsets gorgeous. They have a lovely community porch/lookout area where you can sit wine or coffee and just soak in the scenery. They also have a community fridge for guests to utilize. There is a Nespresso in every room, as well as filtered water. They also have some very sweet farm animals (donkeys, horse, dog) that you can play with and pet. My only complaint about the rooms is that the showers have low water pressure. I assume this is b/c they are on different infrastructure than an "in the city" hotel. Not a big deal to most people, but i have long thick hair and so like strong water pressure to wash my hair quickly. As for the restaurant, it reminds me of a friendlier, more texas version of French Laundry (the famous restaurant in the Napa Valley area). There is a fixed menu of 5 courses, all of which were very tasty!! I would have liked bigger portions, but the quality was great. I greatly enjoyed the food, the other guests, and the nice but not invasive wait staff. The staff largely leaves you alone, so make sure to expect that when you stay here. They are not constantly bugging you or checking up on you. If you are looking for a lovely country getaway, do make the trip out to Coleman, TX, and spend a night or two at Ranch Loma!

You can't find food like this for at least 100 miles.

Book a stay as soon as you can! Such an incredible experience. A delicious breakfast is included but make sure to eat dinner. The food will blow your mind!

Reggi makes our visits to Rancho Loma memorable every time! He always know exactly what I want before I even know I want it. If he knows we’re coming he’s waiting on us with a hug and of course, wine. He’s very attentive when we visit making sure our glasses are never empty. Next time you visit, be sure you ask for the one and only, Reggi!

The lodging was amazing!! The rooms so comfortable and had all the modern conveniences, including an espresso machine. The bedding amazing!! The communal fridge was perfect to keep our wine and snacks in. The pool and decks and all outdoor spaces were inviting and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner was incredible. The food was so tasty and the service was 2nd to none!! A perfect weekend getaway with your significant other or good friends.

I made reservations for our anniversary and my husbands birthday on Saturday August 14th. We had several family members join us. Everything was just perfect. The food was fabulous and the service was friendly and excellent and we could not be more pleased with the whole experience. I fully recommend going for a relaxing dinner with friends or family and enjoy the location and the great food.

Need a romantic evening away from it all? Rancho Loma is a great stop, 45 minutes south of Abilene. The food is delicious. You will need to bring your own wine or prefered alcoholic beverage. One white and one red wine is recommended to match whatever meal comes your way. Tip is included in the bill.
