This bbq place was amazing. The brisket meat was lean but moist and a good portion. I had red beans and rice and collard greens for my sides. It was all so good.

By far the best real bbq I’ve had in three years in Texas trying new bbq places. The sides are real homemade sides, not just out of a plastic jug. The sauce actually has flavor and a bite, not just overwhelming sweet as Texas bbq is. The pork ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket are all good. The order inside and tables outside is a old fashioned cozy feeling compared to the over the top dine in restaurants. The stream of people in and out all very friendly and welcoming to this amazing spot.

Edit: Today I got to try the rib wrap and it was just as good as I thought it would be, I also got the chicken gumbo which is spicy but so good you can't stop eating it.Only had a sausage wrap so far, need to try the rib wrap. Potato salad is good as well.

Husband and I are on a road trip from up north. We both have spent time in Texas growing up. When we come down we like to stop for BBQ. This place is a little off the beaten path from the interstate and we randomly found. But it was so worth it. Tasted fantastic. And the sweet tea taste perfect. I highly recommend going for it.

I’m pretty positive the is the BEST bbq in the entire belton/temple area. My husband and I sometimes crave bbq on days that pit stop isn’t open, and after trying a handful of other spots, we decided that if we can’t have bbq from here, we will just wait until pit stop is open. Best food, great people running the place, and fair prices, especially for how incredible the food quality is. Highly, highly recommend checking them out!

This is the best BBQ in the area. So many things to choose from and its all good. My fave is brisket and sausage with spicy sauce. Ms. Nash also has gumbo and red beans and rice that is fantastic and try the potato salad!

Good place. Very quick and reasonable lunch specials. Family had the pulled pork sandwiches and liked it. I had the spicy sausage sandwich with cucumber salad. We'll definitely check it out again.

This is the most delicious BARBECUE IN THE WORLD! Worth the trip to Temple, TX. Must try the RED BEANS and Rice and Cucumber Salad. Plan on sitting in your car or picnic tables out side. No indoor restroom or seating. Choose the Spicy Sauce!

Had a brisket sandwich and sausage wrap. It was great. Spicy sauce had a great flavor and the crew had a great attitude. Definitely will be back!

The wait was EXTREMELY long given that it was not a busy time and bbq places are usually fast since the food is already cooked. We had to sit on a patio with smokers and random people's music, right by the road. The meat was good, but potato salad was very weird. Do not go if you are in a hurry!!

This place is amazing and always friendly. I've met people who are traveling through Texas and have stopped in Temple just to eat here. Memee is a wonderful person and also supports other local restaurants. I highly recommend eating here.

Flavorful and succulent bbq. The 'Big Poppa' (double meat) sandwich is delicious. ?The collard greens and red beans & rice paired well with it.??Very tasty.?Parking: Parking lot is on the side of building againstthe fence. Do NOT park in front of building. You will be asked to move.
