The presence of a safe area for the kids to play in, along with the opportunity to enjoy live music while having a drink, made our experience very enjoyable. “I absolutely love the turkey and lean brisket here when available, and the sides, including carrot soufflé, will knock your socks off. If we’re really craving Tejas, we usually aim for late lunchtime on weekdays and pick over what is left for meats because you absolutely cannot go wrong. And we always grab a monster-sized bonbon on our way out. This is a well-known gem for all of Houston, so there are definitely lines early, but on weekdays, minus Friday, they’ve never been completely sold out late-lunchtime when we’ve gone. Don’t try to order online, for delivery, it never works out with how busy the business is.“

The day of, they were punctual, kind and the cake was perfect! My son loved his cake, he was SO happy and all of our guest said it tasted amazing! It wasn’t very expensive either. “Visited this small restaurant in Tomball on the advice of friends. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. I had the Enchiladas Verde and enjoyed them. Also had a margarita on the rocks, no salt that was really good. We will definitely be going back again.“

“Omg! I had the Crawfish Etouffee Tot Tater w/cheese and butter. It was absolutely delicious!! Eden was super nice and very helpful explaining the me and options to me since it was my 1st time. Everyone was very kind and courteous also extremely helpful checking on me the whole time. I spoke with the manager Pablo who was very nice as well. “I highly recommend this restaurant. We contracted The Original Rib Tickler to Cater my daughters wedding on March 10th and we were so grateful that we did. The owner, Catherine was amazing to work with from the initial emails, and then our first meeting with her that included an amazing tasting. I think we literally had tried everything they make. We chose 3 meats and 3 sides, rolls & all the condiments for the wedding. The Paulo Potatoes, OMG, delicious. Everything was so good and we were blessed to have Catherine herself working with her team at our venue. 2 weeks later and I am still getting comments about how good the food was. I would absolutely hire them again and they now have a life long customer to their restaurant as well. Thank you so much to Catherine and her Team. You made it so easy!!!.“

“It was extremely expensive for what was offered. Which was quite disappointing. I don’t drink alcohol and a soda cost me five dollars. It was really loud for the daytime and people were kind of obnoxious. There was a large group seated not far from us that was screaming and yelling Watching a game which is fine but it was like 2 o’clock in the afternoon and combined with the music being loud we just gave up and left. Also it’s right in front of a police substation so if you plan on drinking you better have a designated driver with you or call an Uber.Parking: There’s more parking than you could ever need. It’s huge you’re fine. You might have a problem finding your car afterwards because the parking lot gets packed. So remember where you parked.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all my 14-year-old son wanted to come up and play some pool during the daytime with his mom and dad and they told us no it is very strictly 21 and up even if the minor is with his parents.Wheelchair accessibility: I did see a wheelchair ramp as well as tables and side bars being the right height for wheelchair access“

As someone who's been coming to this hidden gem since it's opened I can tell you that's it's VERY hard to find quality in this area without having to travel to the Heights. This place is my favorite. High quality foods with impeccable ingredients; their croissants are AMAZING -worth the drive from any distance and red potatoes so yummy and unique, it's such a vibe for a low key delicious meal, work meeting/ lunch, study session, or solo trip. An atmosphere that's modern but definitely something you'd find in LA. I've never not been greeted with a smile. The cashier and ones handing us the food were super nice and courteous.There is no selection for mushrooms suggestion, let me tell you they are delicious! We ordered 5Lbs of crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausage, and mushrooms. We added a pound of shrimp and sodas.It's outside. I have 4 stars for atmosphere because even though it's outside people will smoke no matter where they sit. There should be smoking signs. My daughter and I had to inhale this man's smoke while we were eating. We are outside but his smoke directed at us the entire time.“
