1836 Texas Kitchen Reviews
Loved it when I went about 2 years ago. Was so excited to go back. Food is good and definitely unique. Found seasoning lacking. BBQ shrimp was more like boiled shrimp and crawfish tails with a thin sauce?? Google said $10-20 per person. We paid $30 per person with no alcohol, appetizers or steaks (other than fajita meat).
Need to change the menu. It’s stale and boring. Cool place to hang out. Servers are cool.
We stopped by while passing through Tyler, TX. I had the chicken quesadilla and my husband had the chicken chimichanga. Go hungry because they don’t play around with their serving sizes. Both were excellent. The salsa is amazing. Our server Esméralda was great, and made our experience one that we will always remember.
