We had a great experience at the Diner in Tyler. It was our first time there and we will be back. Melissa was amazing and attentive but not too much so. She really did a great job of reading the room and understanding when to approach us. The water was outstanding and with that you know the food will be quality. Went there today and ordered a waffle, a side of bacon, and a side of scrambled eggs. My waffle came out and I could immediately tell it was burnt, NOT “thick and fluffy” like the menu advertised. I tried to tear off a piece, but it was so crunchy that it just crumbled like a cracker. Since it wasn’t busy at all in there, I politely asked our server if the kitchen could fix it and she said yes.
