“amazing customer service Knew the menu and food really well Excellent workers with a really friendly environment first time trying the food as well and loveedd itt!!”
“Casual Italian restaurant located in a busy but quaint little area. We were surprised by how much we liked the food! The atmosphere was very chill, but very busy with dine in guests and to-go orders. We definitely hit it at a good time. We started with the fried mozzarella triangles, very good but also filling, could only eat one. We also had the bruschetta, which was easily one of the best I've had in Texas! Absolutely delicious, light, full of flavor, with lightly toasted pieces of bread. For dinner I had spaghetti with a bolognese sauce, it was good, but not my favorite, the sauce seemed a bit heavy on the nutmeg, similar to the lasagne which was the choice of my husband. He liked it a lot, but again not my favorite. My son got the spicy vodka sauce pasta and hands down the best entree. We ended with coffee and a slice of tiramisu, delicious. If you like, there is a full bar too. Highly recommend!!”
“WOW!!!!!This place is a amazing hidden secret in Downtown Dallas that you have to try. The atmosphere is soothing and the service is above everywhere around Dallas. Now the food is on a whole nee level. Every dish we had was presented well and the taste made you want to keep eating and have everyone else at the table try it so they could be blessed too.Now for the highlight of the night was Kenzie and Daniel, our wait staff. They were so pleasant, knee the menu, and were willing to give advice on the different items. I will come back, simply to see them again.”
“We asked the owner to "drive" the food and wine and it was exceptional. Hard to identify a highlight so go and try anything in this small, atmospheric restaurant just outside Dallas.”
“This place was amazing! Came for the first time during happy hour and had Karina for our server, she gave us a great experience! My favorites were the chinese bbq bao buns and the yaki udon noodles, but everything we ordered was great. Will definitely be back!”
“Jimmy's is the PERECT little Italian Bodega. How-to Jimmy's:1. Grab a glass of wine while you shop2. Browse the isles and get your dinner ingredients3. Order a Sandwich for lunch at the counter4. Bring home your food and wine for a whole jimmy's day:)))”
“We tried Indian food for the first time tonight at Shiva’s. It was absolutely delicious! Shiva’s service was wonderful and so was the food. We already can’t wait to go back! The Butter Masala with garlic naan bread was our favorite dish, but everything we tried was really really good. We absolutely recommend this restaurant 100%”
“I eat dinner in this area all the time, and I can’t believe I missed this place. This is one of the rare times I ate an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert, and completely finished it without taking any leftovers, it was that good. My server was Elena and she was purely lovely. Knowledgeable, friendly, and great attention to detail. Definitely coming back, enjoy the photos. You’ll have to figure out what they are yourself when you dine in.”
“Service was great. Friendly environment and food was nice. It’s very cultural inspired and welcoming. Plus owner is very involved and nice. Definitely a place to check out!”
“Yairin attention and service, a super friendly girl, great, attentive, respectful, cheerful, her service and attention is super, super recommended, spectacular, my experience in Hawaiian Broswith Yairin, super recommended 100%”
“Talk about welcoming?! Absolutely beautiful place, music fun to listen to, food by far sends my tastebuds out of this world!I had the Truffle Mac & Cheese Croquettes - packed with flavor, creamy! Slight kick from the Sriracha Aioli! And very thankful for the greens to balance it out!Variety of drinks to choose from but very thankful for the mocktails! I had the Hibiscus No-Jito! The zing from the ginger beer, with a sweet and sour after taste from the Hibiscus and the lingering mint to finish it off! Definitely trying the Texas Sunset next time!Flair was so helpful with the menu and Laura on top always running back and fourth attending all guests but keep a smile on her face! Can’t wait to bring my friends out here!”
“Went to dinner at 7:15 and it was LOUD, which is saying something for a Monday. The food was very good. We had the wagyu short rib with the potatoes and the octopus to start. I had a spicy ginger to drink which was also excellent. The only low point was dessert - the goat cheese cheesecake was more science project than after dinner delight, but Jordan was great about it and treated us great the whole night.Overall, it was a great date night.”
“Stellar experience - top notch cocktails, warm and skilled service, pleasant modern ambiance, and most importantly great food. I'll write a longer review when we return, which we surely will, as this is one of the few high-end places in Dallas that's definitely worth the money.”
“My server, i think her name was keely, she was so amazing and welcoming with her service. The food was so amazing and i would come again and recommend to friends.”
“Had a great and delicious meal as usual! The food is always well cooked and so flavorful. What really blew us away was the great and attentive service we got from Michael!”
“Stopped in after the Saint Paddies DAY parade. I’ve been looking forward to trying the pastries thanks to an instagram posting. The staff were very friendly and the pastries I picked up were delicious.”
“The place was upscale and simply gorgeous. Host was nice and got my party seated quickly. Waitress was very sweet and thoughtful. The food was simple but delicious.I had the best birthday ever!”
“An incredible experience. We had the tasting menu which was delicious, well timed, and more than filling. We had great service and the cocktails were delicious. Would highly recommend. Very reasonable price point.”
“We had an unbelievable meal at Shoyo. Chef Kenny really blew us away with his innovative combinations, especially the shaved ankimo course. Chef Jimmy and his staff’s hospitality was beyond generous and we can’t wait to return!”
“The doorway can become congested because everybody wants to stop and look at the bakery case, but once you’re up, you will be cheerfully greeted and your selections put on a tray to be packed to go or plated for your dining experience. The canned coffees and kombuchas are from locally owned companies and are delicious. It’s in a strip shopping t center but don’t be put off by the surroundings. There’s plenty of free parking.”
“We ordered the hot and sour and mala spicy. Both had great flavor and very generous portion. Service was great, very prompt. Looking forward to trying the other menu items.”
“Truly great omokase experience. Presentation and atmosphere of the dining area and lobby are pristine. You feel the focus is on the chef as he prepares your food. The sushi rice is some of the best I've ever had as well as the entire menu selection for the night. Would highly recommend as a go to sushi spot for a special occasion.”
“I liked Liseth's service, she was very kind when giving me the order, above all, my food was fast. I recommend it, a very good place to eat with the family.”
“What a special way to celebrate the total solar eclipse and our daughter's tenth birthday! The steaks were delicious, the cocktails scrumptious, and the service excellent, truly, from every staff member. The valets graciously set up extra patio umbrellas to keep us all in the shade beforehand. Everyone, staff and diners, enjoyed the totality together in the parking lot, and it couldn't have been better. Thanks to all the excellent staff at Al Biernat's!”
“A sublime orchestration of southern comfort food paired with unique, very yummy, libation offerings. We decided on a sampling of appetizers: cast iron cornbread, gumbo, shrimp and grits, fried squash blossoms. All of them were simply delightful, but my fave was the squash blossoms...you must try this dish! A close second was the gumbo with it's dark, rich, complexion from the fabulous roux, along with hearty chunks of crab, boudin, and whole shrimp. For our main dish, we shared a delicious King Salmon croquette. Last but not least, big kudos to our server Keanon who made my wife's birthday dinner memorable!”
“The Taro shake was really good and had a perfect blend of Oreo bits swirled in to add a nice texture. The staff were polite and friendly. I’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area.”
“A great place for a special event, amazing service and food. We celebrated our anniversary here and the made the experience amazing! There is complamentry valet, and the train station is only 5 min away. Would recommend the pork belly appetizer!”
“Speedy service, they get you in and out, although we stayed for a while, catching up with friends ?.The chips are a little crunchy ? and good salsa. You can purchase several other salsas for your table.I enjoyed the made in house tamales and my chicken enchiladas. I wasn't a big fan of ground beef taco (flavor needed). We did like the white queso. You get generous portions and worth a visit.Parking: Small parking lot attached with valet during certain times...I had to park down the street and walk 2 blocks.”
“I’ve come to this restaurant and everything is so good. We always get the pollo asado with rice, bean, and tortillas. I would recommend to anyone that is in the area looking for a delicious meal to enjoy.”
“Food and coffee are great. The WiFi is absolutely garbage at best. Completely unreliable. And though it’s out of the shops control, the neighborhood parents with unruly kids running around and doing nothing about it makes for a loud and hectic environment that is the opposite of what I look for in a coffee shop.”
