And though it’s out of the shops control, the neighborhood parents with unruly kids running around and doing nothing about it makes for a loud and hectic environment that is the opposite of what I look for in a coffee shop.“

“Scoped out the place for the first time with some coworkers. We ordered beef fajitas, steak and potatoes, and veggie tacos. Everything was delicious. The veggie tacos are made with well-seasoned potatoes, and I’d definitely recommend. The Mexican rice and refried beans are also really good.We liked Texican so much we ended up using them to cater a work lunch. Prices were fair and delivery was easy. Fish and chips tacos are available for special requests.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos are made with potatoes. Rice, chips, guacamole and beans are also offered.“

“I went and tried Everyday Works for the first time last week and it was amazing!! I was helped by a lovely young lady by the name of Pablo. She had such a positive attitude and amazing energy that makes me want to come back! “This place isn't much to look at from the exterior, but inside was a warm and cozy space. They have a full menu of hot breakfast items, pastries and coffee drinks. I liked the numerous seating options - I chose a cozy chair. They have bar height seating at the window if you want to bring your laptop, and small tables scattered throughout if you want a place to eat your meal. Their ordering kiosk was convenient & easy to understand, but the staff can take your coffee order & bring it to you if you prefer. I tried a scrambled egg and cheese croissant which was rich and filling and an Azteca latte, subtly flavored with chocolate and cinnamon. Delicious!“

“A great little spot in Deep Ellum for a delicious breakfast. We stopped in here while staying at a hotel in the area to get a quick coffee. I was surprised to see they had a pretty extensive food menu as well so we decided to take a seat and grab breakfast as well. We had the All Farm Bagel and the Granola Grub Bowl. Both were super tasty and the bowl was one of the best parfaits I've had. Perhaps a little heavy on the honey, but I didn't mind the extra sweetness this morning! I ordered one of the winter seasonal lattes called First Drop, flat white with peppermint and steeped rosemary sprigs, and it was great - not too sweet at all. “I came on a Monday afternoon and it was empty! I wish I had done some work here as it was quiet. I got the tres leches iced coffee which tasted really good, and they have options for decaf and half caf too. The hours aren’t the best as I do prefer to drink coffee earlier in the morning, but with those decaf options I do feel more comfortable drinking them in the afternoon.
