“My other favorite Mexican joint is also inside a gas station so I may be biased ?. Honestly stumbled across this place on a road trip and imagined average tex-mex. NO! THIS IS BY NO MEANS AVERAGE.This place has all the best qualities of a hole in the wall authentic restaurant shoved into a gas station with a simple menu done PERFECT.I only had the tacos, beans, rice and churro. Based on how good these were though, I would be SHOCKED if anything they offer was subpar.They have some of the best meat I've ever had in a taco. Fresh off the grill , with a good amount of char on every piece. Onion, herbs , and lime on the side in a simple corn tortilla and the fresh fried churro? !! They do the simple stuff and just hit it out of the park. This is universal comfort food!”

“My wife and I were told, we had to try this place. On the town square in Valley View, a great little cafe with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. The food that we ordered was very good and I was impressed with their variety of Mexican dishes a variety I haven’t yet seen since moving to this area, along with traditional items. The pancakes were amazing, I can tell that they have a special recipe for them, because they have a type of creamy sweet flavor. I tried the Chicken Fried Chicken and hash browns and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and get there breakfast burrito.”

“The lobster bisque is worth the hour drive from Dallas. It’s better than Pappas Brothers (my previous gold standard)! The bruschetta is the best I’ve ever had. The flatbreads are wonderful, and a glass of their Saturn Missile red wine is soulful and perfect. I’m shocked and delighted to find an experience this good in a small town. Must try!”

“Terrific place. If you live close by or are just passing through, it’s worth it. We sat at the bar (bartender was Tommye and she was great!) - great atmosphere. Had burgers - the Hellfire is amazing (aka Hellraiser). Kroots Lime Lite was a great drink as well. Nice getting something a little different. Lots to choose from and worth the stop, trust me! “This is my favorite bar in Sanger, and probably in all of Texas. It’s a great atmosphere any time of day or night. Great specials every day. Amazing service and the staff are amazing and lovely. I love the new Belts that say Revival- very cute and great advertising. Drinks are great they have some very delicious holiday inspired cocktails and shots- cookie Christmas shot was a hit. The Raspberry Lemonade low sugar cocktail was very tasty and keep my blood sugar in a good range while enjoying a very tasty adult drink.”

They are good but I like the Apple strudel and fruit fried pies.Parking: Plenty of parking. If you are getting back on I35, it’s easier to stay in the service road, go down through the light, stay on the service road to enter I35 that way. The construction makes it difficult to enter right there by Rumpy’s and it’s a blind merge.Kid-friendliness: A little souvenir area with fun stuff for kids. I’m going to get a couple of those rubber squawking chickens next time I’m in.”

“We were in town for a show at the casino, we stayed at a motel about a mile from this bbq spot. My goal was to find a hole in the wall BBQ place those are the best ones that have BBQ! I am not a fan of big Corp food industries. I love to support a true hard working American. I'm so glad Google recommended this guy, I read all his reviews and i said this is where I am going to go. Boy boy I do not regret this decision! This is by the best BBQ I have ever had! I live an hr and 43 minutes from jazs bbq and there is not anything good bbq place within in those miles!”
