We had dinner there 5:30 pm on 3/23/2024 and it was excellent! The food was really good, served hot and tasty. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and he was extremely accomodating to another couple with us that were vegetarians. He had the kitchen make up some spinach and mushroom enchiladas. Very clean restrooms and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. We will certainly visit again when we are in Van Alstyne!

So if you're looking for some GREAT local food I highly recommend Arroyo's Mexican restaurant. From Tex-Mex to authentic Mexican fare this place has it all. Local small batch Mexican sweets. You walk in and are greeted with open seating, chips salsa AND Queso. They have great Chili Relenos (best I've ever had), taco specials enchilada specials and much more. This is my #1 choice for great Mexican, better than any chain ever. Personable service only puts this family owned local restaurant over the top. Highly highly recommended!!!! I can't say enough.
