I recommend trying Jafar's out. It's a nice gem in downtown Van Alstyne. I ordered the falafel pita wrap and a side Greek salad to go, and they were delicious. I asked them not to put cheese on the Greek salad to veganize it, and the salad dressing was vegan. The pita bread itself is also vegan. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-01
Food was good. We were here for lunch and tries their pita wraps and platters. The place is located in Van Alstyne downtown. Friendly staff and good indoor ambiance, I felt like the floor was little dirty and needs some work. Over all a good place to enjoy mediterranean food. Will be back to try their baklava and coffee.

The food here is amazing! You get a lot for what you pay for. Great atmosphere and very spacious. The service is outstanding and the owners are very welcoming and nice. I highly Recommend eating at Jafar’s Mediterranean Grill.
