Gluten free, vanilla free, and chicken egg free (Miranda went out of her way to make them with duck eggs to accommodate my wife's allergies) all so we could have a dessert that wouldn't upset the birthday girl's good time. Food was awesome, brownies were moist, and had an excellent bold chocolate flavor that carried well throughout each bite. You need to give this place a chance to fill your order, regardless if you have an allergy or not. Thank you Miranda!“
“An endearing little downtown bakery & coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere. They've got some very tasty treats, and I'm always excited to try out their creative drink options. However, the quality of the shop (and its rating) is weighed down by an ill-mannered barista.I enjoy stopping by this place en route to the public library. It's conveniently located down the street! I've never been disappointed by their beverages. I like how they come up with themed rotating specialty drinks, it's a charming little twist that makes me excited to come back to see what other things they come up with.I love their baked goods, particularly their scones. I always get a scone when I go here, you just can't go wrong. Warm, delicately sweet, and often infused with fruit, delicious. Love em.The only area I feel this place comes short is its service. Most workers I've encountered there have been very friendly, and I appreciate their dedication & service. They make me feel like a person rather than a number. However, there's one barista who's pretty rude. No greeting you, no asking 'how may I help you' or anything within those lines, just a blank stare until you say something. And I encounter them so often, it really soils my experience.I'm not looking to be treated like royalty. I don't expect to engage in a conversation. It's just nice to be greeted. Nice to not be stared at awkwardly until you say something. It's glaring, and especially in contrast to everyone else who are actually friendly. Employee etiquette is just that important.That's the one thing holding this place back from being 5 Stars, and it's a shame, because everything (and everyone else) is lovely.“

Awesome people and I came in the first time trying it at 5 a.m and they were making everything fresh and I enjoyed that . The quality and food definitely match the price and It’s overall good! Donut holes and kolaches are my go to ! Just moved out here from Houston and not having a good breakfast kolache place was awful!“

“We stopped en route to Galveston about a year ago and opted for the hot buffet and salad bar. It was so delicious, (and with another road trip planned I was looking them up and realized I never reviewed). The bakery items were good, but the prepared cooked food was the superstar in my mind. The food bar consisted of hearty home cooked favorites that were generously plated by the staff, visible behind a safety glass. The dishes were well seasoned and not overly salty. A big plus in my world. The self serve salad bar was very clean and had gloves available. It contained quality real food items (such as real bacon bits, etc.) and a lot of fresh crisp vegetables and greens. The made-from-scratch salad dressings were truly top notch and can be purchased in bottles to take home. I highly recommend this hidden little nook if you are seeking truly quality food at a very reasonable price in an impeccably clean space. I know we will be returning when driving through Victoria.“
“If you want true authentic Mexican breakfast this is the place to go. It's a no fuss no must and the food was excellent. And the environment is extremely simple but it all comes together great. I would go back. It was about the food anyway not about the atmosphere.“

“I absolutely love this place. They have the best and most delicious cupcakes in town. My all time favorite would be the salted spiced caramel!! Mmmmmmmmm to die for :p They also have such fresh food. A must try is the jalapeno popper. You can also try adding some popper spread to the Rebekah. Game changer!!“
