“Randomly stopped at this place with my wife and daughter on a road trip from Houston to Laredo. Wasn’t expecting the best seafood because of location in Texas, but we were both pleasantly surprised. Food was great. We got the ceviche and shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Could see this being a cool spot to grab and beer and hang out at night if you’re local.”

“Awesome food, consistency with crawfish is lacking, and heavy sprinkled with seasoning when times before all was cooked within. Which is the correct way. Also, cook time has varried, overcooked this last visit.”

“Best BBQ in South Texas. I love the chopped BBQ beef sandwich. High quality and lots of meat. All the BBQ is first class and extremely well prepared. Dyno beef ribs are excellent. The ribs are above and beyond. This BBQ will spoil you and make all other BBQs seem not up to their standard.Parking: Enough parking for the restaurantKid-friendliness: Receptive to kidsWheelchair accessibility: Not very good. “My wife and I were in Victoria for a wedding and we happened to stumble across The Pumphouse after we asked Siri for lunch suggestions. What a great place! The restaurant is near a river and had a neat atmosphere. The servers provided first class service. So very polite and professional. She made excellent suggestions and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! All in all a very nice place that felt high class with reasonable prices.”

“This is my first time eating here. It's where Church's fried Chicken used to be off of Polk and Navarro. I'm always on the go and don't always have my home cooked meals prepared. When I eat out I'm looking for convenience, reasonable prices and delicious foods. This restaurant hits all three for me. They're reasonable enough I ordered three tacos that were medium to large sized $21.00. and they were super delicious plus it's just right down the street from the major shopping center of town. It's an unassuming place as it's a small business and it's just starting out. What it lacks in appearance it more than makes up for in great food and price. Don't need to be afraid to try it.”

“Holy cow. This place caught us off guard. And so glad it did. My mother, brother and I were heading to Beeville for a funeral. We were passing through Victoria and wanted breakfast. The first place we picked from Yelp, we couldn't get to as there was a walk-a-thon or marathon or something it access to the place were we heading was blocked. So we headed out of town and saw Jalapeño's. Pulled in. And got a table. Service was great. I got two small bean bacon and cheese breakfast tacos. They were probably the best I've ever had - at least as far back as I can remember. My mom had pancakes and my brother had the omelette. We all sampled each other's and everything tasted so good. The corn and flour tortillas are made fresh there. Salsas too are made there from scratch. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.”

“Really good food, I got a taco this morning, and I can tell you the size of the taco is definitely worth the price, go anywhere else and pay the same price and you’ll get a skinny baby taco. Not here though. ???? 100000% recommend for your breakfast tacos. ?”

“The Garcia family tamales have been on our menu for many years. At times it was difficult to buy some because they would sell out fast. Now we just call and order ahead of time and get what we need. I have tried many tamales in Texas, Mexico and other states. Always come back to Garcia's for great tamales, give them a try.Mmmmm??”

“Our first time there was great we went during a music event. We were aware that they served food but forgot what time they stopped. Majority of the people still participated in social distancing until the concert was over and everyone was going inside because it was cooler and I believe alcohol played a part because it got crowded fast.”

“Well the guys were super short staff 3 working the store...they did good to try and stay on top of orders especially when they kept getting orders coming in. Kudos to them on the super cold blast of weather. I will definitely give them another go. The food was hot and good.”

“We we hesitant to come after ready so many reviews of rude service. However we are newer to town and were told their steaks were some of the best around. We sat inside and the bartender was our waiter. He made a drink suggestion for my husband which was delicious and the food was excellent. We met the owner (I believe) he stopped by and asked how everything was. The food is delicious and our service was perfectly fine. I got oysters in the half shell and my husband got a ribeye and street corn and said his steak was full of flavor and cooked correctly for a medium rare. The atmosphere inside is pretty calm and dim lit. Their outside area is very inviting and the downtown location is pretty hopping as well”

“This place is so new and staff still in training so we'll give them a bit of a break here. There just isnt a good flow yet that you see with seasoned staff...that will come im sure.The food was very good though one steak was overcooked. The seasoning, in my opinion, is a bit heavy handed and quite salty. Almost like a blackened steak. I'm sure I could ask for light seasoning and be perfectly happy. Stuffed mushroom were wonderful and the sides with the steak very good. Will definitely be returning!”

“I made a recent visit and I was amazed with my service!! Julianne was extremely attentive and welcoming!! I was unsure what I wanted off the menu but Julianne was very understanding and made some great suggestions her advice led me to one of the greatest meals I’ve had and the service she provided was 10/10! she was prompt, courteous, and friendly thanks to her id definitely be making red lobster my to go place!! I sure will be sharing my experience with all my family and friends!!”

“Tried their new BN Smasher, which is their take on the trendy smash burgers. Lots of flavor, but I would've liked even more "smash" and gristle, crispiness of the meat, however I'm speaking of personal preference. It's still a good burger. I like regular waffle fries and the ones I got today were probably the best I've ever had. My wife loves tots and said the same thing about the ones she got today. I like the kiosk-style ordering system where you can order exactly what you want on your burger without feeling the pressure of being rushed. Dining area needs a little more decorating... posters, whatever... some kind of theme.”

“Employees works great as a team member of Whataburger. Wait time is short and team members are respectful and quick to serve you or any customer. Great food.Parking: On Navarro plenty of parking, Houston Highway has great parking as well. Whataburger on Rio Grand difficult to park. Near an intersection and traffic is always busy in that area.”
