“My wife and I were in Victoria for a wedding and we happened to stumble across The Pumphouse after we asked Siri for lunch suggestions. What a great place! The restaurant is near a river and had a neat atmosphere. The servers provided first class service. So very polite and professional. She made excellent suggestions and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! All in all a very nice place that felt high class with reasonable prices.“
“Randomly stopped at this place with my wife and daughter on a road trip from Houston to Laredo. Wasn’t expecting the best seafood because of location in Texas, but we were both pleasantly surprised. Food was great. We got the ceviche and shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Could see this being a cool spot to grab and beer and hang out at night if you’re local.“

“Nice staff and delicious food for the value. This was my second visit, so decided to try the second location. Meal was tasty and the chicken fried to perfection, but coleslaw was still a bit dry. Onion rings were crisp as were the fries. Overall, it was a good meal.“
“I was passing through Victoria and decided to stop here for late dinner on the road. They have a drive thru. I must say, the burgers here are AMAZING! Totally worth the stop. I plan to stop here each time I pass by this place! I ordered the double burger combo with cheese and fries.I also ordered fried mushrooms, however I give those a 3 out of 5stars.Regardless, YOU MUST TRY THE BURGERS! “Took the kids for there favorites, oreo blizzards and ice cream cones saw the signs for the new Carolina reaper tacos and geabd some. I have to say it's pretty hard to beat the original D.Q tacos but I think they did! They are awesome!?“
“We went in and chatted with the owner about the food. We then ordered the food as we wanted and it didn't take long before we were brought an appetizer we didn't ask for, she thought we might like it and we did. We ordered pizza and chicken wings and they were great. The cheese on the pizza was stretchy when our pizza came. We had a goid time and a goid meal.“

“Charbroiled has a better flavor than Whataburger. The veggies are more plentiful. I love mayo and BK will serve it dripping for me. Whataburger is like pulling teeth to get a teaspoon full of mayo on such a big burger. One can never taste it. BK got rid of those disgusting natural-cut fries which is just too cheap and lazy to bother to peel potatoes. So all in all...happy camper!“

“I think the New Tolbert's Dairy Treet is way better than the old one, sad to say. Food is fresher and hotter than the old one. Fast and friendly service at both locations. I just prefer to order at the new tastier restaurant.Parking: Plenty of places to park at the new one. It sometimes hard to park at the old one, especially during their rush hour.“
“We got the 4 hot and spicybasket of fries and 20 peicechicken nugget bundle for 18$ we ordered on the screen but then it didn't print out a ticket and then the staff wasn't very talkative or friendly. Over all good was great and fast “
“I love our local Cuero Texas Sonic. Only store that I know of that when one of the carhopps notices that your having a bad day they make you a special off the menu Sonic style mixed drink, and they don't even have to know you. They just want to see your day get better.“
“What a burger is always good. My husband ordered for me but forgot to ask for toasted bun I asked for that after we had paid but the staff member said too late can't be added now. I find that hard to believe. They were also out of spicy catsup.“
“The best place in town for fried gizzards. The food is always sold nice and hot, and the drinks have the best crushed ice in town. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about their menu, and addresses their regulars on a first name basis like friends. My only complaint would be I can't buy the ice by the bag full! A local mom and pop must try when stopping in our neck of the woods.Kid-friendliness: Everyone was very accommodating to my loud, rambunctious, messy 2 year old.“
“Holy Jesus! I've driven by this place and wanted to stop. You see, I am a huge fan of small town burger joints. I was in Victoria to watch our nephew play some little league. It turns out his favorite place is Jim's. We had lunch after his game and I ordered my go to test burger... a double meat burger with jalapeños. It was epic. Plus, it was funny that some place named Jim's was populated by kitchen and counter staff 100% by pretty girls, all working hard. Great place! Glad I FINALLY tried it!“
