“The food was excellent. However the kitchen was slow in bringing out our food, and was out of several items; primarily dishes that used lobster meat and halibut was a sub for the stuffed flounder. Our waiter was nice and did forewarn us the kitchen was backed up and the food service was going to be a bit slow. Our reservation was for 7 pm, the main course came out at 8:38 pm. Although the flavors were good, the meat was hot but our garlic mashed potatoes were lukewarm, mushrooms were cold, broccoli rabe was cold and slightly undercooked (I like al dente vegetables but these needed a few more minutes in the steamer). All the sauces were cold as well. I may not have stressed the slow service but several other tables who were later arrivals received their food sooner.“
