First time here and it was OK not great not bad just OK. The shrimp wasn't heavily battered and it was fried to a nice golden color, something a lot of others should do. Beyond that the fries are typical frozen things dumped from the bag into the fryer and a cup of coke is a cup of coke. If you like to eat healthy go somewhere else. It's all fried here. Like I said it's OK.

The food was great, that is the only good thing I can say about this place. The heavyset lady that took my order was very rude and abrupt and her apron was filthy. I didn't notice that until I was leaving, because she was behind the counter. I wouldn't have eaten there if I had noticed that earlier. They were out of hush puppies which was included in the meal, never said a word about it until I went to ask about it. The tables were cleaner outside then they were on the inside. I still had to wipe my own table down. They were out of most soda, only had a couple to chose from. I only gave it two stars, because the food was good and the young lady that brought the food to the table was nice.

This is what I received from The Crab shack for 36 dollars and some change, then they tell me that this is my order; where's my potatoes and corn they added into the total. Trash is what this restaurant is...Oh by the way they wouldn't give me the corporate number or Manger number!!!! It took the hands of God for me not to go off. Mad is a understatement

My husband and myself have been to 3 different Catch locations . All have amazing food. But today was different. it's Valentine's Day and out 14th Wedding Anniversary. We visited the Waco location like many times before but found the meal we always buy higher in price and missing several things. Then our waitress spilled a whole glass of tea all over my shirt and jeans. She apologized but no compensation was offered at all. So we had less food than usual at higher price and I ate soaking wet and the rest of my day was spent wearing stained clothes.

This place has potential but it really needs new management. I’ve been twice, and the first time there, it was hair in my food. The second time, my fiancé gumbo tasted burnt. They were supposed to replace the gumbo for some shrimp but never brought it to us. On top of that, there was a Caucasian woman that went into the restroom with her apron on and came out with it on. We were discussed! The employees really need to improve their presentation. They look sloppy and unsanitary. They weren’t using gloves or hair nets. They’re realty nice people but the staff can really use some improvements.

I wanna say everything is bad so that noone would come and they wouldnt run out of my favorite stuff. But I would totally be lying! Food is great. Cooked to order so they get backed up some times but the food is worth the wait!

Got oyster plate and oyster fish combo…oysters were not fried well!!! Fish tastes like it was fried in old grease. Fried jalapeños were pretty good. Would not recommend. Way too much batter on oysters. Hush puppies were good. Top on red beans was messy. Super disappointed. A waste of $50 and a stomach acheRed beans and rice tasted old..no flavor…kind of tangy…weirdPlastic ware just thrown in the bag…it’s 2022…can I get wrapped to go silverware

I've eaten here several times I love the food here. It reminds me of my grandmas cooking when she was alive. The delicious fried fish and the shrimp. You really get your money's worth along with the free beer, margaritas and hurricanes that just makes it a plus. I can't wait for the weather to get nice again I loved dining on the patio enjoying a nice beer and some nice seafood.
The etouffee is sooo mouth watering!! ? The hushpuppies are the best I've had in a while. The rest of the food is YUMMY. The service was fast and friendly. Didn't get to try the seafood boils but definitely will be back for it.

You may want to ask if they have all the ingredients for your order. We went a week ago and there were no hush puppies, no garlic toast, no catsup, and believe it or not, no forks. What portions we did receive were as good as always, but there are some serious issues with ordering supplies.

Highly recommended by one of my travel companions. Now I know why. Great fish. Had gator with my order (been a fan since trying it in Louisiana many years ago). Usually the hush puppies are an afterthought, but these were a treat all by themselves. Took advantage of outside dining. Not in the area very often, but plan to go back if I am.

This was a new place for me and I've already been back. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The fried shrimp is excellent. I'm no a French fry girl, but these were hot and tasty. Prices were ok with good selections. Planning to go back soon.

Don't eat here very often, but never disappointed when I do. I ordered the Cajun basket. Comes with 2 pieces of fried catfish, on top of rice and beans, has 2 pieces of sausage, 2 hushpuppies, and a piece of garlic bread. Wow. Enough food for two people almost. Definitely two meals for me. Lol. I do recommend this place to anyone who wants a great seafood dinner. Enjoy!!
