Oma Leen's offers world class cuisine in Hico! The restaurant is beautiful. It's modern with an elegant ambience. The menu is creative. The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh and quality. You can tell that a lot of thought and creativity goes into putting their menus together. It's worth the 2 hour drive from Dallas to eat here. I highly recommend it.

This was the best hot chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. Seasoned with a perfect heat that makes you sweat just a little and enhances the flavor. Chicken cooked perfectly crunchy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. Great service and great value. I will definitely be back for this.

This place is amazing! Beautiful inside and delicious food! We didn't know this place was there and took a chance and are very glad we did. We have told friends who have tried it and thought it was amazing too. We will be back!

The food was delicious. The service was great. It's just very noisy inside. It's hard to talk at the table.Parking: 25

Food is very good and so is atmosphere. A limited menu but is everything is very good. Not very busy at 5pm but got busier the later it got. Best place to for a sit down in Hico.Parking: Street parking that could get crowded.

Wow! I’ve been dying to make it out here and SO glad we did! They “might” have been a little over whelmed today, but management was on top of it! Only advice, bring a jacket. It’s a bit

We went for lunch and really enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is great, and they also have great drink options. My only feedback would be to offer a ranch option without the dill or pickle taste in it. We will go back soon to try dinner.

We loved the atmosphere, but the food and ... stinginess made the entire experience not worth it, however, we will be back. The mixed drinks were great and the service was great! We ordered the Shiner Bock Focaccia and were let down when we ran out of bread, but had half of the dip left. When inquired for more bread I was told it would be an upcharge. I understand the cost, but I felt this was a bit overboard.I ordered a salad with my main entree. The salad was very fresh, and beautiful. It was seasoned very salty, even for someone like me who likes salt. It was edible, but generous on the salt. Our main entrees looked incredible! A filet and ribeye. We also ordered a side of asparagus and macaroni and cheese. The sides were nothing to write home about. The presentation was nice. The entree plates looked very nice, but there was too much bordelaise sauce for my liking, initially. I like light seasoning and to taste the meat, and understand not everyone is the same. The steak quality was prestigious and it was cooked exactly to our level of desire. Our biggest letdown was the overwhelming char on the steak. It ruined the steak experience, but the bordelaise sauce was able to cover some of it.Unfortunately, I think we came on a night where it was a miss. It is upsetting that there would be an upcharge for additional bread, and the salad was seasoned the way it was. For $250, the atmosphere and service were amazing, the drinks delightful and the food was all right. It was a wonderful evening though! We will update the rating when we go back to try again.

For an average plate being $45+, I cannot recommend this restaurant. My son ordered the ribeye medium. It was drowned in sauce. The steak itself was chewy. Expectations of a $55 steak would be to easily cut it with a butter knife. He had to saw at it. His potatoes were so salty that the salt was all you tasted. My wife ordered the salmon with the skin still on. This would have been fine if it was served with the skin side down; however, it was not. This appeared to be on purpose as the other side was over cooked. Her rice was also very salty. I ordered the pork chop which was ok. It was also a little dry and chewy, but I understand pork can be difficult to prepare. We also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese and my suggestion to the chef would be to add more fontina for a better flavor. If my review sounds very critical, it should be with the bill being almost $200 for three people not including the tip. We have eaten at many high end restaurants and this one would rank in the bottom. If you're going to charge high end prices your dishes better be perfect every time.

I wish they would provide a “to go” drink of soda/tea/water. It would be “value added” to the otherwise great brunch. The biscuits are scratch made to order.
