“? A family order took too long. It took so long that vehicle #2 behind me pulled out of line to park in front of the building and went inside. And vehicle #3 received his order before me -&- my family. My daughter was so frustrated that she got out of our vehicle and went inside to demand a refund back on the card @ the drive through window. They returned to the drive through window with the "family meal" I ordered. I decided to keep the order *&* NOT TO RETURN TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE OF THE PROLONGED WAIT...... *My daughter observed while she was inside @ the front counter that there were plenty of workers in the kitchen. As I drove off I noticed that vehicle #2 was still waiting, parked in front of the building @ the entrance door. I can truly say that my ???patience was tested that day???❣“

“The catfish nuggets were tasty. I would have preferred the crinkle fries instead of the thin fries, the salad was simple, the hush puppies were like corn nuggets and very good, I would have liked more of them, could have done without the jalapeno relish, didn't really add much to the meal. “First time visit for my wife and I over lunch. Fantastic! My wife got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich combo with fries. I got wings with House Sauce and fries and we split an order of pickle chips. Wife loved the sandwich. Wings were well above average meat amount per wing and tasty. My wife is a pickle chip connoisseur and these were hands down her favorite of ALL TIME. Thicker chips than most places too. Most pickle chips end up soggy through the batter and fry process. These were the rare ones that stayed crisp and full of batter through the meal. Seasoning on fries was not to my taste but my wife loved them and took my extras. I'll just ask for plain next time as they otherwise were very thick crinkle fries and looked good. Highly recommend. Will tell our adult kids to try as they love chicken and the Mac and cheese on the menu are a family "next try" item. Met owner husband wife who were very friendly and patient with our questions as first time customers. In my after work drive home "honey do you want me to pick up dinner" list.“

“There are only 3 main items on their menu and we ordered the Fried Chicken, Chicken Tenders, and the Kid's Meal. The veggies are "bottomless", which means they keep bringing out salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, or corn as you request them. I first thought the price per plate ($18.99) was a bit high, but it's not so bad with all the veggies you want. If you want to share a plate, they charge you $10.99 for the veggie plate.The food was good and the staff was great. They really seem to enjoy kids here. Several little kids went up to the jukebox and the waitresses talk to them and even hold them up for a better view.We came with a large group. Since all of the chicken are served stacked on one large platter (family style), hopefully you like your friends because your chicken is all mixed together.“

“Very delicious food, good portion for the price paid. If you order chicken regularly, they are at least 4 pieces. The waitress Savannah was very friendly and explained very well. They had no menu, no wifi. However, when I took the food in a bag, I forgot it on the table. When I returned, they had already thrown it away, but the manager gave me a complete meal just as I had ordered, as good as new. I thought it was a very good gesture. I definitely have one more place to visit more often.“

“I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“

“I enjoyed eating the chicken and corn nuggets. My 2 year old grandson loves those corn nuggets. My score is a 4 instead of 5 on the food is based on the Mac & cheese. The noodles are not cooked to completely done. They were a bit hard & chewy. The cheese was to watery and runny for me and my grandson didn't like it. In fairness, it was my first time trying the Mac & cheese. Others may enjoy it! Overall, Lisa's fried chicken is my favorite chicken in Fort Worth. “One of the great chicken chains in Ft Worth. If you're looking for some great tasting chicken or catfish at unbelievable prices this is the place. They also have one of the most complete beverage offerings around. You name it they've got it. There usually aren't any tables, strictly takeout, and the size of the chicken pieces are what I call normal, not like the enormous ones at other chains, but you can't bet the price, taste or quantity at Lisa's. I always stop by for lunch if I'm in the neighborhood.“
