“I wonder how many of these one star reviews are from first time customers? My degree is in Hospitality Management. I understand that everyone expects a certain level of service from a fast food joint. What I don't understand is people who leave a bad review on one visit and probably blow things out of proportion. I'm not calling anyone out and I know I probably shouldn't put this in my review but Jack in the Box is a fast food burger restaurant It is not a five-star dining experience and was never intended to be. Every time I go to this Jack in the Box... The service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. There have been a few times where something was forgotten or I didn't enjoy what I ordered and I don't take that out on the staff. I wish I could review it a hundred times to get your review total backup to three and a half or four stars or whatever because I think that most of these reviews are unfair. Now for my actual review for today.So it is Christmas Day and this location was literally the only place for food on Rufe Snow that was open. It was quite obviously busy, very busy. In spite of being a little overwhelmed and having angry and rude customers, Kyle who was working the register, was visibly flustered, but ran the crew with an efficiency that was better than most people would have put out. He kept as calm as possible and was very very polite with all guests even the ones that were yelling at him. I'm very grateful for the service and I didn't mind waiting because I understand when there are that many people it's going to take a while. That's okay. Just wanted to let you all know that Kyle crushed it and so did the cooks. I'm very pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Thank you for being open, thank you for great service, and thank you for clean facilities. And Kyle deserves a raise for real.“

“Shrimp is delicious and you get a big helping of rice a little side salad. The sampler is nice so you can taste a few flavors and decide what you prefer. The shrimp is delicious and comes out quick. Staff is all young kids who are kind and helpful. Spot is cute and has plenty do sitting. They have sinks easily accessible to wash your hands after handling the shrimp which I appreciate :)“

“We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. The vibe is amazing-chill and laid back. We sat on the patio. There’s a covered walk-up bar as well as plentiful indoor seating. The food was delicious!! We ordered specialty tacos, black beans, a jalapeño margarita, pina colada, and were treated to samples of their pina colada and pork belly taco. Their chips & salsa were incredible and all of the food was fresh and made with TLC. We were treated like loyal customers and would definitely recommend this restaurant!!! Be prepared to experience great customer service and eat some delicious food. If you’re a taco head-this is your spot!!!The restrooms/establishment were also very clean. “I was on my way to the sandwich shop next door to this place when a man stopped me and implored me to try the place next door because he said the food was amazing and they even do food prep for him. I had been thinking I'd try it and felt like the universe was giving me the go ahead. I had the special, which was a chicken al pastor empanada and the al pastor rice bowl. Both were fresh, well seasoned and yummy. I have been back since and find it to be affordable, truly good food. In a landscape in Ft Worth where a lot can be mediocre, this is a little gem.“

“I've been a fan of this location since our first visit. We always sit at the bar, and Taylor is an awesome bartender. The food is always fresh and ready very quickly. “We went to JJ's Taco Shop on N. Tarrant and Davis Friday night. Oscar was our server and he did an amazing job. He was friendly and very attentive. We shared the Cowboy Sampler. The chicken quesadillas and Taquitos were good as well as the Queso. The Steak Skewers were a little tough, but they had good flavor. My friend got the Peach Margarita and said it was very good. We also tried the Elote Cup, it was great. The atmosphere is great, a little loud in the bar area, but they have a separate room in the back that may be a little quieter if you are looking for that. I had pretty low expectations as I'm not a huge Tex Mex fan (please don't come for me) but really was pleasantly surprised by the food here. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table, self service style. Of note, we had some trouble talking to the staff as we didn't know Spanish and their English wasn't very clear. Regardless, the food was excellent! We got a breakfast burrito and flour tacos - the oxaca cheese combined with all the other meats, beans, etc was so flavorful. Another big plus was the selection of fresh salsas - there were 4 when we were there. There is plenty of seating inside (including booths) and some outdoor seating as well. There were high chairs and booster seats available too. Would highly recommend for some good food within a few minutes walking distance to Sundance square!“
