Great little soul food place. Have been in several times and my favorite meal is their Spicy or Regular Catfish with collard greens and candied yams. Baked chicken and fried wings were delicious as well. Staff is not that friendly otherwise I would give 5 stars. Went in yesterday and was have a few laughs with my family and anyone who knows me knows I am a quiet person. Immediately the waitress cuts the tv music over my head on and decides we need no conversation amongst ourselves....read full review
Was craving some good fried chicken and ran across post about Ida Mae's on TikTok and they didn't disappoint. They serve nice size whole wings and they were seasoned well and fried to perfection. 4 stars because I wasn't a big fan of the sides, but the chicken was enough for me. I've been back 3x now.

I called in an order for the meatloaf. The website states you get 2 pieces. When I picked up the order, I had 1 small piece. I mentioned I didnt get two. I decided to buy another piece, which was fine, but the rude and insulting comments and bad attitude from the lady in the kitchen was unnecessary. The remainder of the staff and service was great. Food was great but bad comments from the lady in the kitchen was reason enough for only 4 stars.
