This place is tiny, but it has the best country cooking around! The service is always wonderful and friendly.

Honestly hands down the best little spot to eat at. My only complaint is the lack of space/seating within the place. Aside from that, the food is amazing and reasonably priced.

I gave 3 stars on atmosphere...but it is really just that this restaurant is very small. If you want a sense of privacy, this is not the place to go. However the service is really good and the food is great.Breakfast is what shines here. They have so many different plates on the menu that you could maybe eat here every week and not eat the same thing in a year. Eggs are always cooked how they are ordered. Hashbrowns are crispy. Bacon is cooked crisp and is delicious. Gravy is good but not anything particularly special.

This is a must "get off I35 and drive to place"!It is a quaint little house that holds eating space in one room with 3 bars to sit at to dine. As a patron sitting near stated, "It's like eating in an airplane, but so worth it!" I agree wholeheartedly! The staff is super nice and the service is great!I had the Dolly Parton and it did not disappoint. The decor just adds to the ambience. The servers had great pride for the place and cooks in the kitchen. Please do yourself a favor and get off of I35 in Waxahachie and dine here.

Absolutely fabulous chicken fried steak and eggs. Portions were huge and the coffee was good. You know this is a great place when the locals eat there. Limited table space.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible.

Food was good, servers were friendly. I enjoyed lunch with family. When we drove up, it looked like there were too many cars parked outside to be able to get a seat inside, but don't just assume you can't get a seat, go on in and check availability. Don't expect to be able to have a private conversation though, it's way too small for that.Parking: There is more parking than there are seats inside. But don't just assume you can't get a seat, go on in and check availability.Wheelchair accessibility: The dinning area is very very small so maneuvering a wheelchair may be a challenge unless you stay right by the door, and in the winter time, that may be a bit uncomfortable.Wheelchair in the restroom is most likely not a possibility.

This is how breakfast in America should be. A classic southern diner with great service, amazing food and a cozy space. It's not the largest place, so get there early but once you go, you'll eat there twice a week till they size you up for a casket. I recommend their Cowboy special.Kid-friendliness: I grew up eating at a diner every Sunday morning with my Father, Grandfather and brothers. This is the type of place to make those kinds of memories. And trust me, you want them to have those kinds of memories.
