We decided to take a trip to look for tamales, it was well worth the drive. The location is on 77 Business just east of IH 35E, off the beaten path. You have to look out for the “Gonzales Bakery” sign. The parking lot is not paved, so watch out for divots and puddles, no Handicap Parking. The Folk’s service was courteous and friendly. The best place to get pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). The bread is made fresh daily. They have amazing fluffy, soft and warm conchas. In addition, they also serve a wide variety of menu items available. Service is fast and friendly.
