I’ll start out with the good points…. Enjoyed the decor, especially the awesome bathroom sink. The waitress was friendly. The presentation of the food was exemplary, and beyond expectations. The hand cut French Fries will normally win me over, unto themselves, but not this time.Despite not being busy, it took over 30 minutes to get a burger and fries. When I then have to add salt to a burger, that’s not a good sign. The meat was flavorless and had a weird “mushy” consistency. Yes, it was a half pound, but I’ve had many that size which never did this. Did not care for the buns either. For the first time in my life, I did not finish a burger…. And as much as I love burgers, that hurts my heart.I do not know what it would take to make it better. Apparently, reading the other reviews, some folks must like it that way. But, for myself, I’ll try something different next time I go to Waxahachie.

Great burgers and fries. I had the Vaquilla burger and I loved it. It came with sweet n' sassy pickles and I don't usually like pickles but these were great. They have a great homemade jalapeño Cheddar bun! The shakes were refreshing and made with bluebell.

This is one of my favorite places to go grab dinner. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, and when I do have room for dessert, it is always the best... I have zero complaints.

The Ugly Heifer was a wonderful experience. We came with a large party and they still took great care of us. All of the food was so delicious and way beyond my expectations! I highly recommend them and will be back anytime I'm in the area.Dietary restrictions: Several gluten free options.

Wish I came here sooner. This amazing place is right around the corner and I couldn't be happier. The service was fantastic. Jerrie was awesome and made us feel welcomed. The fried mushrooms were cooked perfectly and came with amazing homemade ranch. The salad had the freshest ingredients, best side salad I've ever had. Let's talk about the ribeye...cooked perfectly and definitely not lacking in quality. You can't get food like this anywhere in Hachie. Oh man I almost forgot...the biscuits with honey. You will leave here stuffed and wanting more. Can't wait to come back.

This is a depressing place to go to. The religious music was ok. I can tune it out. But video playing on large screen of street people. With their stories. Very inappropriate for a restaurant. The food was average. Ordered a burger and they bring out seasoned fries with it. Not listed on menu. A big no no. Home style fries listed. I never order seasoned because I hate them. But these were extremely nasty So our Saturday night out was a loss.

Food was great! Ambiance and atmosphere was wonderful. Could work on their customer service. It was a bit slow but perhaps we came in when they were understaffed.

Tried to go eat here with my wife. After waiting an hour without getting our food, we decided to pay for our appetizer and leave. The manager had absolutely zero customer service and was very rude. While we were paying for our appetizer the manger was starting to get upset with us and our waitress. He was saying there was orders in front of us. There were 3 different couples that sat down after us that were almost finished with their meals and we still had not gotten ours. Also, a to go order that was ordered 30 minutes after we ordered had there food bagged and ready. I understand they may have been short staffed or maybe our order was accidentally skipped, but the manager made ZERO attempt to fix the situation or even apologize.

Me and my sister stopped in here yesterday because we haven't had a chance to try it out since they opened. We were sat pretty quickly, it wasn't busy at all (as to be expected since typical lunch rush hour was passed). Our server was so kind and recommend the fried pickles, which we loved. I got the la vaquilla burger and my sister got the smaller 1/4 or 1/3 pound burger. Both were so good and cooked correct temperatures. I got the the fries which a super good season on them. And my sister got the okra. It was a great experience all and all: definetly recommend to stop by if you have a chance to

Excellent food! Even though the waitress was slammed she kept our tea glasses full and was very friendly!

Understand they don't serve alcohol, but with this pub food, a beer would wash it down better. The fat heifer was exactly that and patties were cooked perfect, lacked a little flavor. I prefer dill over sweet pickles on my burger and too much mustard. Fries were so crispy they were dried out on the inside with potato dust. Fried mushrooms were good, dipping sauce was okay. Service was great, but we did ask for honey mustard and she was going to whip some up but as soon as a 10 top was seated it never arrived.

Both very good. Chicken strips were big and crispy. The burger was tasty. The fries were out of a bag instead of home fries. But seasoned well . The owner was in and checking on things. I was Very impressed.

Great food, great attention from staff. Very easy going. Stopped in on the way home from Dallas. We ordered sandwiches that were very delicious but when seeing the burgers... will definately be back to try them.

Clean and well laid out. Burger was not bad. A little pricey. The fries and jalapeno ranch are good. Frendly help. You have to refill your own glass out of other glasses which causes spillage. That was diffrent.
