“Family-owned and run, this is hands down some of the best chicken I ever had the pleasue to enjoy! I live in Los Angeles and stumbled across Augie's restaurant by chance while on a cross-country road trip. I'm driving back to Florida in a few weeks and will go out of my way to visit El Pollo Rico once again - it is THAT GOOD!!! A must eat. Very relaxed settings, but the food is off the hook deliscious! Very friendly family-owned and operated.“

“Our waitress Crystal was great! This was our first time at El Fenix, and she was so friendly and welcoming. Our food came out quickly despite it being busy (1pm on a Thursday). The salsa (very important to me) was great, very tomato forward. The queso was awesome, definitely recommend adding the beef and sour cream to it. Reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants from my home town. I’m so glad to have a new Tex-Mex go-to in Weatherford!“

The taco salad is very filling and yummy and the lemonade is good too

“We have been here before for a wedding rehearsal dinner. But it's been a while. There are a lot of menu choices as well as drink ? choices. The food is excellent. The chips, salsa, and queso are very good.
We had great service for a table or 11 people. I regret not taking photos, but I was busy visiting with family.
We will definitely be back.“

“Great place to eat just wish they had more staff, our waitress was over worked with every table that we could see as well as seating folks as they walked in. She did a great job, but if there where other people working she would have been able to do her job properly.“

“Caleb did a wonderful job. I asked him to change gloves for me (Celiac) and he not only did that - but got clean serving spoons for the items I requested. He got a fresh tub of the cheese & the lettuce as well to ensure no cross-contamination. Chipotle’s is generally a safe place to eat but he took extra care! Thanks again Caleb for your outstanding service!!!“
