“Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!“

The people working were very nice to me and the lady who rung up my order was giving me suggestions on bbq sauce’s I would like. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. The baked potato was 10/10. “Went by today to drop off a deer to be processed and ate while we were there, I had the sliced brisket sandwich my wife had the brisket tots. Absolutely delicious we will definitely be back great Folks Great Grub. Loved the ambience like being in a country store but in the heart of Dickinson. Give em a try I know you will be pleased“
“My family first time being here. Everything was great. Crawfish and crab clusters were delicious great flavor. Shrimp was overcooked. Calamari was ok. No flavor in the batter. Same with my daughters chicken tenders ,no flavor. All in all we have a awesome waiter named Kevin. He was very attentive and professional and deserves a raise. We will be returning! Recommend for everyone to try at least once!!“
“I don't think I can say enough good things. I grew up in the area and just came to visit family for a weekend. Everyone was raving about this place so we went to get a ton for everyone. Ribs... great, sausage... great, brisket... while I personally wish it had more fat on it, it was still great. Ham (I had to steal a piece of my meme's)... great. Got all of the sides I'm pretty sure and bbq sauce on the side. Everything was so good. Just getting out of the truck to walk up to this place you get a huge waft of deliciousness. One and only suggestion... serve your family platters with romaine lettuce in scoop/cup size chopped portions. Why you may ask? Because I did it with the left overs and tucked a little of everything into the lettuce and it was absolutely to die for. I wish I had pics but it all went faster than I could think to take any. *This is not calorie free but you deserve it*“
