“Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!”

We opted to get the Hot Pot and the BBQ, but you can certainly pick one or the other. We will definitely be going back! Also our waitress Sam was very attentive we enjoyed her service!”

“I went to Mamacita's for a birthday get-together & we had a great time. They sang to her & the staff was friendly. I am using a walker, currently, because of back surgery. They offered to help with my walker & store it while I ate. Everyone enjoyed their food & portions were good. The only thing I took a star off for food was for the salad. They do not have an Italian dressing or vinaigrette. I couldn't really enjoy/eat my salad without a dressing unless you like to eat it bland. I did try their 2 dressings. They had 2 different types of ranch & queso, of course. Both types of ranch tasted the same to me, but ranch users would probably like it. That is the only con about Mamacita's, to me. Everything else was awesome & I can't wait to go back!Wheelchair accessibility: I'm using a walker, currently, & the walkways are narrow & hard to put the walker next to you without getting in the way of others and servers who need to walk by. The server did store it at the front for me. I did have to ask for it back to go to the bathroom. To use the bathroom, you have to go up & down two different sets of small steps, no ramp. One worker did say I could go through the employee access swinging silver door, but I did not do that, haha.”

“Pho Barr is raising the bar for Vietnamese food in the Webster area. I would put the restaurant up there with some of the top restaurants in the greater Houston area.The humble front of the building conceals one of the coolest decorated restaurants I’ve seen in a while. While keeping true to the Vietnamese roots of this cuisine, there is something distinctly Texan and H-town about this place. I’m loving the aesthetic from the Vietnamese murals to the neon wall decorations and lighting. I was feeling the ambiance and vibe of a place you can hang out and have a great night.The service was prompt, being greeted and shown to a seat right away. Drinks were brought to the table immediately and the food arrived what seemed like mere minutes after ordering.I ordered the Cơm tấm sườn bì chả (Broken rice with grilled pork chop) and the Vermicelli bowl with grilled ribeye. To drink I ordered Bạc Xỉu (Vietnamese White Coffee).The Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả was exceptional. I had planned on just getting a bánh mì until I saw this on the menu. It says its seasonal, so I’m not sure if its temporary but you need to come get this asap. The pork chop was tender, juicy and incredibly flavorful. The rice was good and the shredded pork skin was an amazing addition. It added a nice little crunch to the meal. The egg cake (Chả Trứng) was delicious . It was like a quiche with the consistency of meatloaf. There was a hot sauce that accented the meal perfectly. All around the dish was astounding and astonishingly good. The Vermicelli bowl with ribeye was really good. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the nước mắm was really good. I couldn’t believe the portion size. I’m not usually paying attention to portion size but the sheer amount of meat in this bowl was impossible to ignore. It definitely put some other restaurants to shame.The Bạc Xỉu was very good. This was my first time trying it. I usually get cà phê sữa đá or cà phê muối, so this was a nice change of pace. It had a smooth, delicate flavor and almost reminded me of chocolate milk with more of a coffee flavor but lacking the strong bitter coffee taste of cà phê sữa đá. I enjoyed it.The menu here was quite large with an impressive variety. I cannot wait to come back and try some of the other dishes and drinks. Please show Pho Barr some love. Your appetite will thank you!”

I have quite a few reviews to write but I put them all on hold to write this one for Remton while the memory is fresh.Let’s start with the ambiance. Remton is beautifully decorated with a vibrant springtime vibe. I can tell a lot of hard work and planning went into the design. The tables, chairs and booths all look very new. The bar looks amazing and is well stocked. Remton gives off a high end aura. The restaurant is so clean and spacious.Next, the service was incredible and matched the high end energy of the restaurant. When I walked in, the manager approached me and offered seating. I asked him a few questions and soon we were discussing various Vietnamese dishes and cuisine. He was very polite and knowledgeable, showing me around the restaurant a bit and recommending some dishes. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and hospitality, as well as his passion for customer service.I was not super hungry, so I ordered smaller dishes to try a variety. First I ordered the Bánh Bột Chiên (Vietnamese Fried Rice Flower Cake). Wow!!! This bánh bột chiên was extraordinary! As I was eating it, the owner Tracy stopped by the table and I let her know that this was a fantastic version of this dish. The rice cake/ egg mixture topped with stir fried radish, pickled carrot, green onion and cilantro was so good. The sweet and sour soy sauce took it to another level! I’ll go ahead and say it now. This is the best bánh bột chiên I’ve had in the Houston area, including Bellaire. This is a recipe straight from southern Vietnam. Compliments to the chef! I will be back for this alone.The crispy tofu was delicious! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was hot and covered in the tasty peanut sauce it was a great dish.The Spicy Pork Wontons tasted great! The Custard Buns were delicious. The custard filling was so creamy and not too sweet.The Pinky Promise and House Sangria from the bar were just right and very refreshing. I also ordered a Matcha Espresso Latte drink to go and it was very good with a strong matcha flavor to go along with the espresso.The menu here is vast and incorporates global flavors and cuisines along with authentic Vietnamese recipes. The owner/chef must be well travelled and knowledgeable about various cuisines to have a menu this large and with such high quality.I cannot wait to return with a larger appetite to try the Bún Bò Huế , Bò Kho, Japanese Beef Curry, Chicken Rice Clay Pot and much more.Save me a seat at Remton Vietnamese Cuisine. “What a nice place in a very unassuming shopping center. I stopped in on a Saturday to check it out and was delighted to find that they have beers on tap in addition to those in the coolers. They offer sample sizes so you're able to get a taste before committing to something you may not like. The DigitalPour app lets you peruse the selections available which is pretty cool. I suggest having one or two at the bar and taking some home to try later. Lots of interesting choices and a variety of styles of beer to choose from. Service was friendly and welcoming and the environment was very relaxed and casual. Also worth noting that the restroom was very clean. If the restroom is clean, I feel good about the cleanliness of everything else in the shop.”

My father is a disabled vet, and struggles sometimes so it's always a bit scary going to a restaurant because we don't always know what to expect. Brian took such amazing care of us, especially my father. He made sure to take everything into consideration when seating us. He was very polite and friendly and even insisted on getting the doors for us. Everything was exceptional, but Brian was just the icing on the cake. It's the little things that make a big difference. “Ok… So let’s review this new place.Mac & cheese fries: I had an opportunity to try the half order of their urban fries. I requested them to mix the dry rub tangy barbecue seasoning and mild seasoning together and trust me. This was the best mix flavor in my opinion. The french fries are freshly made and they were topped with their white cheddar mac & cheese, and then it is topped with their crispy fried chicken, which is very well seasoned. Half order was very filling and reasonably priced. I was satisfied with the quality and quantity.Sando sandwich: Their sandwich comes with two chicken tenders, and it is a good size and super filling. I requested them to mix the flavors and make one of them dry rub barbecue tangy, and the other one mild spicy.Service: 10/10 - Very professional, and super polite staff. I enjoyed the service.Atmosphere: 7/10 - this is a personal preference because I prefer a booth over a long bench settle seating. The only have 3 and half booth, and sometimes they all are full. It was ready in 15 minutes!When we picked it up we were actually disappointed we didn’t dine in, the restaurant is cute, extremely clean and has a great homely atmosphere. You can tell locals eat here with their families. Every staff member was extremely welcoming, friendly, professional and prompt. Some of the best service we’ve seen in quite some time, even though we were only there for 5 minutes. You can tell customer service is very important but you can tell the staff is like a family as well, they all worked seamlessly together, with smiles and helping each other out whenever possible.The food was great too, very fresh and delicious. I tried an ice cream sandwich with both a cookie monster and Nutella cookie, with cookie dough ice cream in the middle. It was absolutely delicious! The cookies and ice creams are all made in-house, and they had several choices that all looked amazing. I only give it a 4 star because I asked for double meat on my turkey sandwich and I don't think the kitchen did it. When I asked the waitress she told me "I did tell the kitchen for double meat".
