There's a smattering of tables and booths that are all clean. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. There are about 6/8 breakfast options and 16/18 lunch/dinner plates. I had the Huevos Rancheros over easy. Everything was prepared perfectly. Good yolk and salsa, you could taste the chiles in every bite and the flour tortillas were fresh. Can't wait to try lunch next time I'm in the area.”

“Went looking for Apple Struedel I had at a family gathering and found out had to pre-order it. But loaded up on a box full of awesome goodies. The kolaches and apple fritters were yummy. The apple and blue berry crumbles also good. They were very nice folks. A table of locals were visiting drinking coffee etc. Good place!”

“The store on Bay Area and Space Center is doing a great job. The workers keep it fresh and not old stale bread like a lot of the stores do. They are friendly and helpful.”

“Small town bar with BIG character! Beer & wine only, but you can bring your own liquor and buy the set up from the bar. They also have pizza, popcorn, and a snack bar. Great service, fantastic environment, and the friendliest locals around!”

His name is Lawrence Francis the store he operates in is #484 His energy is what made me try the chicken here, once I did , i was hooked. I can tell Lawrence is a glass almost full type of guy , always thinking forward , rarely dwelling and loathing of past mistakes . Everytime I visit this location I leave with a new memory of how much of a stand up guy he is ! Mr.Francis is a king and it shows the way he treats people ! “Our local McDonald's tries hard to keep up with demand and sometimes that is hard in Weimar, TX where there is lots of traffic from I-10 & not always a lot of ppl who want to hold down jobs in small towns.”

“This place was wonderful! We made a reservation for 7 because at lunch time they were very busy. I enjoyed the appetizer that we had mushrooms and brussel sprouts! They were wonderful! I chose the salad with salmon. It was perfect! Definitely will say it's the ace to go!”

“If you're cruising at 80 mph on 71 and see 55mph speed limit signs, that's a likely signal to look for Hruska's. It used to be a relatively simple diner and general store, but their expanded their food offerings, their bathroom capacity, and their general store options. Think of it as a smaller and less crazy version of Bucky's with slightly better prizes. Come to think of it, I was in a rush, so I bought some snacks to go after using the clean restroom, so I don't even know if they have sit-down dining anymore. I guess I'll have to leave it to others to report on that.”

“Finally, ribs with seasoning and not just smoke! The meat was tender for the most part, and the potato salad was better than most restaurants. As a truck driver, it is hard to find accommodating space, and they had truck parking! It's a good deal and good food... check 'em out!”

“Chicken wings are their specialty and they do not disappoint! You can choose on a scale of not hot to killer hot spices. Staff is excellent, very friendly! Noise level is really high. They need some sound boards on the ceiling. Next time I'm back in town I'll be here for dinner! Highly recommend!”

“A delightful bakery with a wide selection of pastries,pies, kolaches, and other goodies. Very clean, and good presentation. Staff is helpful and courteous. You can drive through, or enjoy coffee and pastries while sitting inside or on the covered porch. Definitely recommend!”

“We drove all day to get to Schulenburg, and I'd do it again just to eat at Tulum Cafe. The first thing I noticed was how good it smelled. The food was probably the best Mexican cuisine I have ever had. The service was great. We're going back there for dinner tomorrow night since we'll still be in Schulenburg. Why go someplace else when this is the best!”

“The food was delicious but the stuff they clean the tables with smells pretty bad. Some kind of lemon bleach. Still, everything at our table looked great. My ribeye was cooked just right. The folks working were very nice and gave very good service. I just wish they would get a little less industrial cleaner!!”

“Stopped here on a road trip and loved it! Waiter was attentive and efficient. They brought out warm chips and salsa immediately, plus a free queso because it was a weekday. The food was SO delicious. I ordered the rolled beef fajita tacos from the lunch menu and it was a lot of food. Kids plates were plentiful and devoured. I especially liked how the food was not over salted (as many restaurants do). You could taste all the flavors and the rice and refried beans were amazing! P.S. had to take my daughter to the bathroom and the women's was busy so we used the men's bathroom and it was clean and tidy!”

“It truly deserves 5 stars! When you go to eat at a local fast food restaurant, what do you expect? Usually my standards aren't very high for getting a quick cheap bite from a chain fast food place around here. However , this subway has blown me away! I regularly DON'T go out of my way to write a Yelp review, but this subway is exceptional! First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and upbeat. It is super clean/well maintained and I feel comfortable coming in to enjoy my meal. At this location, the service is always consistent, friendly, and fast! Most of the time I order from the subway app, and drop in to pick up my sub. When I get there, the sub is ready. Because I am a regular, they recognize my order and know immediately I am there for pickup ! As for the food, it's awesome. The ingredients are fresh, and the sub is made exactly how I specify! The girls who work here pay attention to detail and the sub is put together neatly. They have exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond. I look forward to eating here! The girls who work here deserve a raise. I definitely recommend this subway.”
