“One thing about McDonald's it's always there when you're in the crunch or you just need something quick to grab for lunch or like me need something to eat after 3:00 a.m. that is thanks again for all the happy meals and Big Macs and that special sauce, way to go home of the golden gates.“
“Dang good burgers and especially love the tots. Not a big fan of the onions mixed in with the beef, but I suppose if we asked they could do it without. We never do, tho. Love that they serve Celis White beer. My family always loves coming here, which is great because it's one of my favorite places when I visit Austin.“
“Definitely get the double patty. The burgers aren’t huge but the price is fair. The fries are just okay and remind me of Jack in the box curly fries. The burger was cohesive with tender buns and true premium beef quality. They definitely create burgers for repeat customers. The Mexican vanilla shake tasted like horchata. This is a good thing.“
“I like it when the menu is simple, contains a few things, and it is done quickly and well. Sitting outside is the only down side, but the burgers are delicious. Although this place is a few years older than Whataburger, it has that same Texas-style burger vibe. The kids love the hotdogs and soft serve ice cream.“
“I had the Waygu cheeseburger. It was really good! I didn't really know what to expect from this place, but don't be afraid. This place is on the outside wall of JW Marriott. I remember seeing this place when I stayed in DT Austin several years ago, and it's still here. This time around, I was in town for a concert, staying around the corner. There is outdoor seating, but there is inside seating too, just look to the right of the place and there's a sign on a door. My group ordered on the iPad-like kiosk on on the left side of the counter. It was pretty simple, which I appreciate. Staff was nice and our order was correct. We all enjoyed our food. My adult daughter got the chicken strips, which looked pretty good (homemade?) and had homemade ranch dressing to go with it.“
“It was a fun experience! They did have wine for those of you who don’t like beer! Wine was good. Their choices in Belgian beer was good and they are served in cool glasses. Lol. It was pricey, but that’s Austin, in my opinion. But it’s a neat little place to escape to for a minute. Location is great and there’s outdoor seating.“
“Burgers ? onion rings, fries ? ? milk shakes, and drinks?always on POINT!!! Made to order, fresh veggies and PRICE can't be BEAT nowhere in TOWN! So if you want a HOMEMADE Burger and don't feel like cooking at home, this is "THE SPOT."“
“Love these sliders and fries. For how small these sliders are they pack a punch, very juicy, full of various flavors, and very filling. If you eat lots of food, I recommend an order of three sliders and fries! Service is great, very friendly and chill. Great location as well, the food truck is next to a bar where they allow you to eat your sliders in their outside patio in the back in case the there's no room in-front of the food truck. Overall, very great spot for sliders in the ATX area!“
“I heard about them on the news and I’m so happy they were shown on there. I’ve been trying to find my burger place for a long time. I tried the Texas Burger and loved it. Everything tasted fresh and prepared to high quality. The menu is big and I love how the prices are affordable and not over the top like other places. You do have to pay extra for the meal with fries and drink. The fries were exactly what I wanted. Fluffy slightly seasoned fries.? My partner got the Guacamole burger and he said it tasted fresh and flavorful. Was very good. He also got the Hawaiian burger and loved it.“
“Wow, what a pleasant surprise!I have to admit, I didn't realise this was a vegan burger joint until I was leaving this review! Just a great burger full stop. But the burger wasn't the only highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and just so nice, making the whole experience that much better. And don't even get me started on the cookies! They were wonderful. This place deserves all the love and praise. Whether you're vegan or not, you owe it to yourself to try their burgers and baked goods.“
“Great simple/traditional hamburgers/cheeseburgers at very reasonable prices. Fries and onion rings. Fried chicken. Now that I've discovered this place (that native Austinites knew about for years), I'm going to return. Better than any fast food burger.“
“Old School Char-broiled Burgers fresh to order...magificent..like the 60s were Uncle Johnny would grill but without all the beer.Onion Rings were crispy as the fries..overall a cool vibe to a restaurant that's been in several movies but still remains humble and consistent.Parking: Ample...looks like an old drive in and you can still order from the microphone..lol“
“This iconic modest place is 98 years old. Multiple generations of the same univetsity dorms and groups and families have eaten here. I have now been waited on by the grandson and great-nephew of the brothers that made my burgers 50 years ago. The fried burgers and the onion rings are particularly good. The decor is centered around UT and nostalgia.“
“Love everything about this place except for the fries. I do see them cut and slice them fresh, and fry them and they still taste like cardboard ?. Maybe unripe potatoes? Who knows. My brother, who lives here in Austin, tried their fries in California and said they were awesome there...By contrast the burgers, the #1 double double, is awesome specially with the yellow peppers“
“Omg the empanada dough is absolutely delicious. Cheese empanada was vegetarian friendly, not sure if they have other options. Clean and quiet. Staff is genuinely welcoming, which makes so customer are all smiling. They also look out - they told a customer to move their car to avoid towing. I love mi gente latina ✊“
“I LOOOOOVE this place!! the food & staff are amazing! the chef herself always makes me feel like family! i've never had anything i didnt love. i've been coming her for about 2 years, i've only ever ordered takeout, that's bcz they are always overflowing with people! never an empty seat in the house & that says all the positive things you need to know!!“
“Cool place to hang on a weekend or usual evenings☺️Tried nice and clean, chicken salad sandwich and fries.Taste -> delicious (must try ? salad sandwich)Price -> inexpensive than fast food comboQuality -> freshOverall -> 5/5Atmosphere is great.“
“I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I was so pleased! The truffle fries were amazing! I also ordered their smash burger and it was the best burger, I've had on a long time. Everything is perfectly seasoned with quality ingredients and their portions filling. I will definitely be back.Parking: I was somewhat confused about the parking. I wasn't sure of what was hotel parking or common.“
“Excellent food and drinks! A little pricy but totally worth the cost. They have a vegan burger option that's amazing! I just got it without the cheese to make it vegan. I also got the Mai tai and it was delicious. Great fries too! The music and atmosphere is really fun. I would definitely come back to Austin just to come to Pool Burger.“
“We popped in about 10:25, but made it just in time for breakfast! Our order arrived less than fifteen minutes after ordering. I ordered two eggs, ham, and the hash browns and Texas toast. I did salt the eggs, but some folks may like that they can season to taste. The ham tasted great and the hash browns were a great consistency. For my S.O and I, the bill came to under twenty dollars before tip. He liked the Dan's Special, but does wish the gravy was a smidgen runnier. Heads up, it's a little tight turning into the parking lot.“
“Had a great time at Cafe No Se for my birthday brunch! We had never been so we weren't sure what to expect but our server Hari M. took such great care of us and even gave us some recommendations. We got the Salmon Burger and Cowboy Breakfast and both were delicious, filling plates. Hari also brought us two complimentary macarons with a birthday candle and joined my boyfriend in singing Happy Birthday to me which was so sweet! Overall a great dining option on SoCo“
“Had the strongest coffee of my natural life here yesterday. (What kind of coffee do you guys use, seriously?). I haven’t slept in over 24 hours at this point and I fear I may never sleep again. So if you’re looking to be ALERT in all caps, get the coffee here.“
“Stopped by here after dropping the car off at Enterprise before the airport. We had the brisket and the spare ribs plate with two sides: smoked gouda Mac and coleslaw. He gave me an option of moist brisket or lean brisket. I opted for the unhealthier but more tasty option. It looked like there was a lot of fat but it was actually very very good.If anything, the brisket might have been the tad salty and the the ribs a tad sweet. They have two sauces, one original and one spicy at the tables you can grab and pour on. Honestly, I thought they were good enough without the saucesNo complaints about the sides.I probably wouldn't come back if it except for being really close to Enterprise.Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside but it got really windy.“
“The guy who was there today at 1pm is so nice!! (idk if he is the owner or not)The burger and fries are the BEST I have ever had !! We came in from NM & Ft worth and I can not wait until life brings me back to Austin just so I can have another burger! ? ?Thank you for the awesome service!!“
“I and my wife have had 2 meals at this restaurant. Not only was service good and quick the food was delicious. I do not usually think Austin food is worth remembering, but I hope this small restaurant gets the support it deserves. Breakfast is my favorite meal and burgers are the tip of the iceberg. Our sides were unique and on point. We definitely will return.“
“In n out is the best “fast food”Hamburger around. No frills and just a good fresh burger.Get the fries well done and they come out crispier. Their spread is great especially with the fries and the free peppers are awesome!A great late night option as they stay open very late! Sometimes there is a line but worth the wait!“
“Tiny location. Plan to take it to go. Super friendly cashier. Packed with students on a Saturday evening as expected. Burgers and fries true to brand, just like they make in Cali.Vegetarian options: Burger with all veg and cheese inside. With bun or wrapped in lettuce “bun.” Good stuff.“
“Best ice cream. Why? Because it's real. It's worth diving well out of your way to get it.Butter burgers are great too. I get them plain because I love the taste of the burger and bun, icky adding ketchup.Try it , it's a great taste, by far the best fast food hamburger in the country. Yes, the entire country.“
“Frazier's has been one of my staples for the last 2 years and I can't emphasize enough how much I've loved it. The atmosphere is perfect, the pricing for the quality of what you get is unbeatable, and service is great. I almost don't want to recommend this place to keep it under wraps for myself, but it absolutely deserves to be known as a 5-star establishment.“
“Best Birria Tacos in Austin. The tacos are beyond delicious?. The consume is nice and flavorful. And the horchata is bomb ?. 10/10 would recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back to grab a bite. I might try the Birria ramen next time!***sorry for the bite on the first taco in the photo, just had to try it***“
“5 Stars in every category!! I went to Hopdoddy twice in the week I was there visiting from Michigan. I can't sing their praises enough. It was the best burger I've had in 2 years at least. Love the shakes, I think I could live on them alone! The sides were amazing as well. The staff is second to none, they were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable ( I'm gluten intolerant) and very efficient. Gina, the manager must be doing something right, because everyone seemed to be enjoying their job! Gina and her staff went out of their way for us on both occasions. We definitely will be back when I'm back in Texas! Just wish they were in Michigan!“
“I had a nice conversation with the owner/chef, who contacted me and clearly cares a great deal about his product and is interested in understanding criticism. Really if I could have given 3.5 stars I would have so I'm rounding up to 4 for his proactiveness in understand my concerns. The brisket burger is pretty good but I still think it needs some changes to make it great. Anyway props to Mo for reaching out!“
“Typical dive bar but with better lighting. Had a burger and it was about what I expected. Nice charbroiled flavor but with ingredients commensurate with the insanely good price. You dress your own however you want, which is nice and they have my favorite brand of Sriracha. If I were to nitpick, I'd rather have a 1/3 burger with better beef. The flame grill is awesome and I feel like it's being wasted by the typical backyard grill frozen patty which inevitably comes out dry.Definitely a cool place and I'll be back to have drinks and try more of the insanely affordable menu.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Austin, hands down. The food is always delicious with new additions to the menu every time we visit. The wine selection is diverse and tasty. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about what pairs well. I've hosted parties in their private dining area with rave reviews from all attendees! We've met the owners - they are so nice and it's very evident how much they care about the dining experience. My wife and I try all of the new restaurants in Austin and are often disappointed - Underdog is a great experience every time. Cannot recommend highly enough!“
“Very unique where you serve yourself from the tap wall (both beer & cocktails). I was able to sample several with the different size glasses availableKid-friendliness: They have an entire play area for little kids while the adults can sit, watch them, get together with new parents & have a beer without having to hire a babysitter.Wheelchair accessibility: All on 1 floor, chairs are movable.“
“Every now and then, I get these cravings for a yummy hamburger! My husband loves burgers and, without hesitation, looks for places for us to eat! We decided to come back to Hat Creek at the domain after trying their food a while back with a couple of friends. I'm pretty picky when it comes to hamburgers, I'm more of a chicken person, but Hat Creek has good stuff! It definitely satisfied my craving, and their Peanut Butter Cup shake was the cherry on top for me! It's located in the Domain, so there's plenty of stores to shop around and go on nice walks when the weather is great! The staff was lovely and the service was quick and easy!Kid-friendliness: Hat Creek has an indoor and outdoor sitting area, the outside has a play area for kids! It's pretty nice!“
“The wings here are definitely top notch! I got three different wings with 3 different sauces and they were all incredible. With a few different games going on, it was definitely a little too loud for me personally, but the quality of those wings really just carried the whole experience. Will be back for more.“
“Had the amazing pleasure in trying them out while attending the Buda rodeo and fajita cookoff. OMG what amazing food. The pulled pork Cubano, not enough words to say how delicious this was and the street corn OMG!!! They are definitely a must try anytime you encounter them. Hope to see them again soon.“
“Thee food was amazing! ish was on point. The boils were good though a tadbit salty. The manager did mention we could have requested to have it reboiled to remove some of the saltiness but we were happy with it nonetheless! My daugjter asked for the hamburger and said was great! Had a live band that played well and server was super attentive. 5 stars all the way!“
“This is my favorite burger place, albeit a bit pricey. They offer a fantastic selection of burgers in a pleasant ambiance. The food is consistently delicious, and their truffle fries are a must-try. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the slightly higher prices.“
“Great diner. Stopped in for a quick bite and realized this was my third time in the space. When I come to Austin this is stop one. Right next to Cuvée coffee. I have tried to have breakfast somewhere else. It doesn't work. Food is always fresh hot and good, the cooks look to see if you are happy the answer is yes. The service is top NOTCH you really feel at home. Every time I come into the space the two owners are always so nice and the servers have w to be family cause they are just as fabulous. This is my favorite Austin Breakfast stop. See y'all soon! I'm the chick with the mini hot sauces in my bag (FYI) lmao“
“Basic burgers and side but good food. People are friendly and service is fairly quick. Warning: due to the high popularity the drive thru backs up and can cause issues with getting into the parking lot.Parking: May get blocked in due to drive thru and lack of space.“
“Wow! Brick's Pub is a real hidden gem. The food was delicious and the service was great. Prices are very reasonable and the vibe is kinda upscale, but Bribk's is cozy and inviting at the same time. There is a big outdoor covered patio and kids are always welcome.“
“This moonies has a smaller seating area and the menu is not quite the same but similar. The fried pickles are more like fries and not chips like at other locations. The food is the same and has the same great flavor. The seating area is small, but 6the seem to have more carryout business than sit down service so no problem getting a seat.“
“Went on a Saturday night around 8 and the place was super busy. However, the staff was super friendly. ?? There could've been a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the dining area. I asked for a well done burger ? but there was still a bit of pink on the inside. I'm not a fan of the taste or the price of this place, but it was conveniently located across from the hotel. Burgers, fries and drinks for 2 shouldn't cost 35 bucks at a location such as this.“
“Not a big fan of the downtown yalla location (they can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are they'll mess up your order). This location, however, did a minor mess up on one order so far, and it was still great. The rest of the times were great as well. I've visited this location probably at least 5 times now and ive honestly enjoyed my burger everytime I come here. Everything here feels so fairly priced, and they even have vegetarian options here as well which is a nice addition.“
“Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I had the Cadillac Waygu Burger without bacon that normally comes on it, I’m Jewish. The wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It was also amazing. The Parmesan Truffle fries were delicious. Cameroon the server was incredible, he went above and beyond. We live in Lubbock and were traveling to Dallas for a doctors appointment tomorrow and made a 3 hour detour to come here to eat and it was worth it.“
“This is the right way to serve gluten-free. All sides are gluten free & there is a gf bun option for burgers if you opt out of their flash fried chicken nuggies.... they are to die for!! So yum! Always served with a smile & quickly. So much love from a person with celiacs disease & even more love from a happy doggo.“
“Super fresh food, can’t find anything like this place elsewhere. 12/10 service & it’s a nice place to meet friends or gather family!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, impossible burgers, quinoa black bean burgers made in house !!Kid-friendliness: Super kid-friendly, aside from separate bar area“
“We went to Hat Creek for a birthday party. The employees were very good and we had an amazing experience. The playground is also very good for children who would like to play It was clean and organized. The Manager and staff were great and helpful. I recommend it 100%.“
