“This is always a good meal with great service. Sometimes it can be a little loud but that's just because it is such a good place to go that it's busy. You really can't hold that against them I guess. We love coming here and I am particularly impressed with the fact that they can continue to have potato skins. So many places don't have them anymore and I grew to love them in the 80s so it's always a good day when I find some. We have consistently had good service and great food and it is definitely on our rotation of places to eat“
“Delicious Texas style BBQ. This place could easily be passed by and missed as it’s located in downtown Wichita Falls around a few abandoned/run down businesses. Once inside you’ll be warmly greeted and you’ll get to order at the counter. Family style seating in a small and clean dining area. I tried the two meat plate with the pork burnt ends and brisket. The burnt ends are a bit fatty as they are pork belly pieces but they were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The brisket was perfectly moist and full of flavor as well. The sides weren’t anything out of the ordinary but were pretty tasty as well. I was in town two years ago and was bummed I wasn’t able to make it out to this spot but I’m so glad I had the chance to try it out on this visit.“
“We spent Christmas with my daughter. We drove from Missouri and she catered the dinner from here and we was so impressed with everything. The food was amazing. We was all a little skeptical about getting the food the day before and then heating things up the next day but everything was perfect the vegetables had amazing flavor. The meat was super moist. We had ham and turkey both so I suggest don't cook next year. Let them do the cooking. They do a wonderful job.“

“Branding Iron is served cafeteria style, you go through a cafeteria line, help yourself to the sides. The food is top notch delicious and reasonably priced. The place is clean and decorated in a western fashion. I haven't seen them selling their half chickens lately, and I'm afraid they're gone and they're my favorite but all their food is worth it. Good value, good product, good service.“
“Willie's Place came as a recommendation from a couple of guys I work with. As luck would have it my wife & I found it by accident as we were driving around town. After an appointment this afternoon I looked up Barbecue Restaurants Near Me on Yelp! and Willie's Place Ranked top of the list. It's a rather small place & looks a little weathered on the outside, enough so, that my Thai wife gave me that "look" as we pulled up. I told her that places like this are the best kept secrets in the U.S. When you walk in you are immediately overwhelmed by the wonderful smell of smoked brisket. The menu is on the wall and there are more hamburgers available than you probably thought possible. Or at least more than I thought possible. Next time I go back I'm going to close my eyes & just point to one. And the BBQ. My wife had the Big Rib Plate & I had the Three Meat Plate (ribs, chopped brisket & sausage). We both had a side of potato salad & baked beans. There was absolutely; nothing we could complain about. The baked beans were piping hot, the potato salad was delicious & the ribs...the ribs practically fell off the bone. THAT tender. The chopped brisket & sausage was delicious as well & I think my preference may lie with the brisket. At the time I ordered the brisket the gentleman taking my order (Willy himself? I should have asked) informed me that the only brisket they had at the moment was chopped as the sliced brisket was being smoked. After our plates came out he brought out a few slices of brisket that my wife & I shared. We thought that was pretty nice. While Willie's Place is small it is warm & down home comfortable. I can't remember if they have bottled beer or not but they do have Coke products & iced tea. One last thing: our two plates + two sides + two sweet teas (free refills) cost us $40.00. My plate alone was $20.00 but it came with plenty on the plate. Chopped brisket, sausage, ribs, a bowl of baked beans, potato salad, a slice of Texas Toast & a side of BBQ sauce. It was worth it. All of it. And the wife was happy too. Long review. Great food. We'll be back. One last thing: Best barbecue we've had since we moved to Wichita Falls.“
