Tangie's is, in a sense, what would happen if you converted your grandma's kitchen and dining room into a dine-in. You get the cute charm of nostalgia with all of the beautiful apparel and aesthetics, the mood is simple and happy, and the food is absolutely amazing, and for the prices they ask, I think it's a deal I'll never turn down!

Too much political propaganda. Also, don’t appreciate the marketing of hate slogans with profane language. Won’t eat here ever again.

My husband and I had breakfast here, the service was good but there food was not very good, I had the mushroom and Swiss cheese omelette and hash browns, and the omelette was watery and no flavor, not a recommendation to eat.

Not all the hole in the wall places are a surprise. They are simply an-old established eatery with very local clientele that hang out, chat, and drink coffee.I decided to go outside my normal breakfast, ordering good Ole eggs, sausage, and hash browns. I rolled the dice and ordered something that was called a breakfast hamburger-patty it sounded interesting and sounded good. Unfortunately, it was a very overcooked hamburger patty with very little flavorA lot less time on the flat iron would have gone a long way and some simple salt and pepper at the very end.For those of you who don't know how to cook a beef Patty, here is what you do. You let it cook on one side, letting it get a brown crust on the bottom. The blood floats to the top of the patty, and you flip it over. Cook it for another 10 seconds and pull it off. Perfectly cooked warm in the middle. A little bit pink but a whole lot of flavor. You put your salt and pepper on at the very end before you put it on a plate.I also ordered a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. This was not too bad, a nice homemade biscuit with a simple gravy. The hash browns were cooked well.I will go back and try one of their specialtie dishes to give them the benefit of the doubt.Happy eating, everyone.

Same as it was a decade ago, which is what I wanted. If you want chain restaurant flavor, go to the chain. If you want something that tastes home made, go here.

We were tired of the usual breakfast restaurants that we had been visiting and so we tried this local favorite. We found the service and food wonderful. The place itself seemed like it could use some upkeep. My seat by the window had a frigid draft that kept me cold through our entire visit. We had some simple breakfast items and they were served comparable to the busyness of the restaurant that day - it was pretty packed. My hashbrowns could have been cooked a little more, but the rest of the dish was delicious. My wife's was also wonderful and I think we will be back. It was a delightful local diner that felt comfortable.

Fun place. We were warmly greeted and well attended to. The food, however, was bland and barely warm.

Th food was good for the most part. The hashbrowns were still raw and barely cooked. First time eating here. $50 for 1 lunch and 2 breakfast meals. The wait time for our food to come out took a very long time. The scones are really good. I would probably eat here again if I have the time to wait.

First time trying this place. We love family owned diners, especially hole in the walls that serve good food and have quality customer service. We bought a coffee like we normally do in the morning before coming here. I’ll be up front and say I didn’t read the sign on the door, when I should have.We walked inside, sat down, and were ready to order. The server approached. Her tone, demeanor, facial expressions, overall body language (the ways we communicate as human beings) was not pleasant or welcoming. It had a very similar feel to Pittsburgh, “Welcome to the diner, what do you want.”I looked past that, being a server in this day and age can be difficult. As we were ready to order, she advised that we could not because we brought our own coffee in. She then advised to go put it in the truck.Policies are policies. Customer service though is what brings customers back. Leniency can really make a customer feel at home, however, it can also make a customer take advantage of the system. This diner could have taken our money, when we bought a meal. Instead, they got nothing.Do not bring food or drinks into this diner. Don’t expect quality customer service or a welcoming atmosphere.I can’t speak on the food, wasn’t able to have any.
