“Very friendly service. They even gave us a little fruit plate for my baby. DELICIOUS crepes! I got the flank steak on a salad topped with chimichurri and it was AMAZING! underneath it was the cheesy crepe, which my kids devoured. I do wish it were more kid-friendly; there were only a couple high chairs and the one we used didn't have a buckle, so I struggled to keep my baby from climbing out while trying to keep my toddler from wandering off.“

“A lovely place, the touch screen menu was very easy to use, and had lovely pictures of the food. I got a quesabirrias combo which was delicious! The wait was what one would expect for quality food. (I came by about an hour and half before closing, not many people were there. I loved the innovative cooler with toppings so that I could add my own! The sanitizer bottle was also full—almost everywhere just has empty sanitizer bottles but not this place!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a while, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was seriously SO tasty - chai, snapper, chicken, greens, plantains, even down to the rice and beans - the flavors were incredible. Every bite we took we said "wow, THAT is good." It's truly a fusion restaurant, and they did it perfectly. We knew this place had great reviews, and if I could give 10/5 stars, I would. Would have really loved to try dessert, but we'll save that for next time because we will definitely be back.“

“I stumbled upon this place in a parking lot. I convinced my wife to try it (she's not a food truck person) and she loved it! He let us sample the meat since she's not familiar with a lot of Mexican-type food which was nice. He also gives HUGE portions. He's not skimping on the meat and I appreciate it. “Whenever I travel I search for tacos. I was in SLC for a conference a few weeks back and when I saw a taco cart nearby I knew I had to try it. Well my search was over. I ate there all three days I was in town. Silvia and Maria Estela are amazing, lovely people, who cook everything fresh every day with love. I had carne, pastor, and lengua tacos, all phenomenal. I also had carne burrito and it's a perfect burrito, proper proportions and all the goodies spread evenly...and fried cheese! Also, highly recommend their fresh homemade salsas - esp the habanero! “Super good tacos! and fresh corn tortillas that are a little thicker :-) overall a very nice experience. We got the tacos al pastor and the fish tacos; they were really good. I would recommend getting a extra corn tortilla to make a bonus Taco for all of the stuff that falls out of these super loaded tacos! They don't go light on the meat“

“I’m a little late to posting this review, but I had sit down to think about all the wonderful things I have to say about the Umani team. Let me start off by saying we are from out of state, and chose to have our wedding on the Bonneville Salt Flats this past September. We investigated some catering options, and found that Umani Wood Fired Pizza was going to be the perfect option for our evening on the flats. One call was all it took for us to be sold, we talked to Eddee and he was extremely helpful, honest, and kind. We then got in touch with Elle to discuss more of our vision, and the rest is history!! She gave us recommendations on florals, a bakery for our cake, and was so so SO generous!!!! Coming from out of state on a budget, she was a life saver. She helped create a one of a kind wedding. They helped with tables, chairs, decor. They even drove out to the salt flats ahead of time to scope out the best areas for the wedding set up!! Not to mention, they had plans A, B, and C set in stone to make sure our day was perfect. And thank goodness we had them because we needed that!! Elle and the whole team went above and beyond for us and our family. The time and dedication they put towards our wedding does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. The pizza, I should also add, was spectacular!! If you’re looking for exquisite food, beautiful atmosphere, a team that cares about you and your event, and a wonderful family owned business, look no further. “I regret not getting a picture before digging into their fish n chips, but man that fried cod with the beer batter is humongous and delicious. Fresh, tender, crispy, and goes perfect with their tarter sauce. The side of fries isn't bad either. However, their steak tacos are disgusting, the beef tasted old but also bland? And the hot sauce tasted extremely vinegary. Now I am unsure if this is just a miss, but I can't imagine any of it was supposed to taste like that, so stop by for the seafood, and definitely don't order the beef.“
