“My wife and I were going to go to Lucky 13 for her birthday and our anniversary. They were slammed, so we looked for an alternative. Bandits pulled up as an option that neither of us knew about. (Even though we both grew up in Cottonwood Heights)We were greeted upon walking in, and were seated immediately. We started with fried pickles, and they were amazing! 10/10. My wife had the Best in the West burger with onion rings and ranch beans. She loved every part of it. I had the pick 3 combo with Tri Tip, Pulled Pork, and half chicken with daily vegetables and garlic fries as a side. The sides were amazing, and the tri tip was phenomenal. The pulled pork was a little bland, and I would not do the half a chicken again. Service was amazingly friendly. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star visit is my drink bottoming out and having to wait for 5-10 minutes for a refill. We will be recommending Bandits, and will be back!“

“Delicious, spiced, and fatty skewers. Get the beef four times, the lamb twice, the pork fat twice. Don't forget the mushrooms! Chinese BBQ cuisine brought straight from the night markets of Xi'an to West Valley City. Really. _Get only the skewers_. If you drink, add a beer or one of their unique cocktail styles. Get nothing else. Their barbecued skewers is legit. I don't know why the owners keep adding and diluting their menu choices with boring American-Chinese fare like Broccoli and Orange Chicken. Do they not realize how good their skewers are? That their restaurant can stand with just their barbecued meats? Stop trying to be a generic Chinese restaurant. Stick with the dream of serving the best BBQ sticks in the valley. Don't muddle what your restaurant is about. Be proud. Be unique. We'll do our part and eat just your delicious meat skewers.“

“Wonderful! First time there, primarily for the Mariachi performing group (Tuesdays 6-8). They were fantastic! It can be a little loud, but heh... they performed their first number for the entire restaurant, then proceeded to go around to the different tables and, if requested, perform a special number for the people at that table or booth. We found the food to be quite good as well. Service was perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold conversations while they are singing, so next time, we might get there at maybe 530, enjoy our food and chat, and then enjoy the performing group for however long we like. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and for the Mariachi band on Tuesday evenings.“

“As someone who appreciates a quieter atmosphere, my visit to Water Witch left me with mixed feelings. While I understand that many patrons adore this establishment, I found myself grappling with certain aspects that might not have bothered me in my younger days.Space Constraints: The first thing that struck me was the size of the place. It felt too small. The limited square footage made it challenging to move around comfortably.Crowded Environment: Unfortunately, the cozy space way too crowded. The moment we walked in it was difficult to find a quiet corner to enjoy my time.Drink Menu: Glancing at the drink menu, I noticed that the options were somewhat limited. While I appreciate simplicity, I wished for a broader variety of beverages to choose from.Bar Noise: Attempting to engage the bartender proved futile due to the crowded bar area and the deafening music. Conversations were drowned out, and I couldn’t even inquire about specific drinks.Outdoor Escape: Thankfully, Water Witch had a saving grace: a porch/deck space equipped with heaters. Stepping outside allowed me to escape the cramped interior and catch a breath of fresh air.Smoking Area: Regrettably, this outdoor space had a downside: it was also the designated smoking area. As a non-smoker, this dampened my experience. In summary, Water Witch has its merits, especially for those who thrive in lively environments. However, if you seek a more tranquil setting, consider timing your visit carefully or exploring the outdoor space. Just be prepared for a bit of cigarette smoke if you do venture outside.“

“This is a great place and as many say a hidden gem. The ladies are very beautiful and absolutely great to chat with. Always very polite and well mannered and friendly. It is always a treat to meet any of them. Patrons can sometimes be a hit and miss, specially those who go to hang out and do not tip. These ladies really deserve better as they are probably the most beautiful leaving behind the ladies at places rated to be better - so it’s now up to you to make it even better. They serve all kinds of drinks and always your favorite beer. The entire staff is great and the food is great too - you won’t regret having a burger or their chicken tenders. Plenty of space and as opposed to most other places you can play pool and still watch the show. Just to name a few, do not miss Wendy, Blossom, Sake, Luna, Brooklyn, Lola, Ari, Lissie, Chanel, Blondie, Rae, Sammy and I’m sure I’m missing many more - you will find them at different times of the day, not like at other places where they reserve their best for prime time hours. I love the fact that they will also take requests and play your favorite songs. Be there or be square but more than anything else be a good customer because you will not be disappointed…and trust me, I know this place for decades….“

“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. “I've been here a couple times. Great food and service. But I was really disappointed last night. A bunch of us met up for drinks after a concert and since I was a designated driver, I ordered a Pepsi. I was charged $2.50, which was fine. A lot of places give it to you for free or cheap if you're driving, but I don't mind paying. My issue is that I was charged the same for every refill. I NEVER have to pay for soda refills at any other bar. To charge for refills at a bar in a state with strict "not a drop" laws, when someone is being responsible and not drinking or is trying to sober up, is unconscionable. Its a really bad policy. “Spitz is such a fun, hip little restaurant, and this was our first time going to this location in Sugarhouse (we usually hit up the original downtown one). Awesome, friendly staff, and great vibe with the same hot pink tentrilled light fixture in the center of the room. It really looks like a place people go on a date to, but we went as a family and enjoyed the food, the music, the board/card games they had available to play, and the chalk board to draw on. They had plenty of high chairs and lower tables for the littles, so bring your family.Always get the pita bread, btw! It's the best and I dream of it always. Ahhhh!“

“We're here for pool league tonight. Three tables, a little tilted but good felt, springy bumpers and fast. No food as the place is going through a multiple phased renovation. The kitchen is currently under construction so no food to review tonight. The bartender is very good. He can mix drinks and provides a nice pour from the tap. He comes around occasionally to see if we need anything. Very service oriented and kind. There are a number of regulars at the bar and 9 flat screens playing NCAA and NBA hoops... March Madness y'all! Next time I'll have to review the food and the renovations. So far I'm having fun, good tunes on the jukebox. I gave a 4 star because of the good people I've met here. Due just brought his Pit in. Must be dog friendly.“

“Small and intimate playing Cypress Hill on the jukebox. If you like beer you can order 4 for $10. They give you a pint and three tokens so the draft is fresh every pour. Big Willie's is right across the street so you can order food from Big Willie's and they will deliver your food with a big smile and extra Fry sauce. You can call in your order. There is an app but not sure if you can order food from it. If you order food to be delivered, break it off for them with a $10 spot at least, just sayin'. We're play playing a league tournament and everyone is having a good time, win or lose. I like this little spot. Big industrial sized Golden Tee, big screen TVs showing sports and they do Karaoke! Cool ass bar!“

“I met a friend here and stayed for only a short time (30-45 min) but while I was here I had a great experience with the waitress and other patrons who were sitting near our table, watching a game on TV. My experience here was very positive and I'll be going back sometime to stay for longer and be able to try the food and get a better feel for everything.“

“VFW posts are well known for being very supportive of veterans and this post is no exception. They run an open bar, non-veterans are welcome, and you don’t need to be a BFW member to have a drink there. Drinks are very cheap, the bartenders are friendly and fast, you can run a tab with a credit card, and they have pretty good bands most weekends. This is not a fancy bar. I was there with some other vets and it was very friendly. I recommend it.“
