“I had the pleasure of being served by individual named Ashley, she was aggressively helpful and very nice to the point where I would come back again! . The wonton soup although small is well worth going out of your way for. I was also helped by Katia who proffensianal and warmhearted with a smile that lights a room! Would like to come back and try the Vietnamese Mint Chicken.“

“AWESOME small business. We stumbled into this alternative to all the typical chain fast food places off the interchange in Murray - Go here instead! WOW. Great food, friendly place, really nice people. This is exactly the kind of local business we should all be supporting in our communities, rather than the generic chain places. Please give it a try. We loved the red curry and pad Thai but want to try more stuff on the menu.“

“Best Korean food we've found in Utah. It's delicious, has large portions, and great quality. We stopped here hungry after a hike and couldn't finish everything, but also didn't want to stop tasting all of it.We got the gunmandu, kkanpunggi, and the jaengban jajang. All of it was amazing! The spicy chicken (kkanpunggi) was crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect level of heat. The noodles with seafood (jaengban jajang) had long stretchy noodles that were just the right amount of chewy and my friend said it was like having a Korean gumbo. Gunmandu was crispy and tasty.“

“My husband and I tried this place on Monday, it’s Wednesday and we are already back! Everything has been delicious, and I love the variety of what they offer. This is one of my new favorite restaurants for sure.So far we have tried the poor man noodle, yakisoba, and the boat (chef special), and the mango sticky rice, and am happy to say they were all incredibly delicious. I’m obsessed with the atmosphere AND the foodDietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options“

“Wow so good! My husband and I wanted to try a new Vietnamese restaurant and this place met all our expectations. We did takeout, but a cute hole in the wall place that had lots of people dining in. We got the fried rice, stir fried ramen and the shrimp spring rolls. Everything was so fresh and the meat was tender and yummy! We highly recommend and will be going back!“

“Don't judge me but the pho is so good that I came here 5 times in March alone lol the food is good and the fact that this spot is ran by older folks makes me feel like they know what they're doing in the kitchen. They keep it clean and tidy.“

“Both fast, great quality, and nice people. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. I wasn't sure what to get, so I got the aptly named "I Don't Know" which turned out great. The Red Curry was also good and spicy, though there could have been more flavor in the sauce.“

“This place is so good, my husband prefers this over pho! The food we got was so flavorful we didn't need to add anything extra to it! We came based on recommendation from a client of mine, it's totally worth checking out. I recommend it to everyone now!“

“So I've tried a bunch of spots in SLC for pho but this is one of the best and may be considered the best. The pho is flavorful, and the meat is tender. I always order the oxtail pho (pho 33) because it comes with plenty of meat and is worth the price. Definitely,l a return restaurant time and time again.“

“Stopped by for a post-ski lunch. The chashu was delicious - perfectly tender with excellent flavor. The egg was also great and I appreciated that they gave you both halves! The noodle portions were generous which was appreciated. A bunch of things looked good on the menu but I got the Tauntaun winter special and highly recommend it if they still have it when you visit!“

“First impression: dog bowls. LOL. My husband and I came in for lunch without any idea what to expect. This place has a different twist in their noodles: you order a dish, then get served a tray of "ingredients" (or toppings?!) + a noodles bowl (no broth) + a big boiling broth bowl. The broth bowl, which is where you dump everything in to eat out of, was what we thought looked like a dog bowl lol. The portion of noodles are quite big. And the soup was very flavorful. Typical nonchalant Asian style service. Big dining area. Overall a good meal!“

“You will enjoy this cup bop, it's the same yummy as the food truck. You should walk all the way into the place to order. It's not a perfect layout for a brick and mortar place, but if you think of it like a permanent food truck, it makes sense.“

“If you are driving by, you might drive by. This place is small and inside a strip mall, but don't let that deter you.The egg rolls were piping hot and delicious.I #wentcrazy and ordered something different, green curry pasta, and I'm so glad I did. No chicken for me, so my only 'knock' is I wish it included more veggies (baby corn, carrots, Peas?)The panang curry had delicious flavor as well. For prime time dinner, 6 pm on a Friday, we walked right in.Definitely worth the trip, and many returns.“

“I was so excited to see a takeout Thai place as I was just passing by and had to check it out. Probably not the very best pad see ew I've had but it definitely a solid 3-4 stars. The noodles were a little soft but the flavor was quite good. I will definitely be back.“

“Best Banh Mi and Pho in SLC! Absolutely delicious. The garlic brisket banh mi is awesome. Pho was super flavorful and spicy. Beware! If you add all the chili paste it's hot! Appetizers were solid and tasty. Can't wait to order again!“

“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“Second time here and honestly this is one of the better ramen places here. The menu is limited but that's a good sign because the care they put into the menu items is obvious. Compared to another new ramen spot this one blows it out of the water with the balance of flavor, noodles, meat, and the crunch from veggies without having to pay for extra toppings. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant was extremely warm though which made it uncomfortable while eating hot soup. The chicken karage was juicy with lots of plump pieces. Parking is plentiful due to the fact it's in a strip mall and there's plenty of seating.“

“This is my first time being here and it's a great place. They had a variety of Chinese American options as well as authentic Chinese food. I had their diced chicken with hot chili, orange chicken, lamb hot pot, and sizzling beef tenders. Staff was amazing and very friendly. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others.“

“You ever root for the underdog? I want to see local business succeed. Nothing against the big chain restaurants I just want the mom and pop restaurants to get their share of the market. It's been pre-pandemic since I've eaten here. The pho tai was pretty tasty. It was really nice to see familiar faces when I returned today. Give them a try... they deserve it.“

“Mom's Kitchen is one of my new favorite hidden gems! We found out about Mom's Kitchen through word of mouth. People had told us that the food was absolutely incredible so we were excited to give it a go. They did not disappoint--we loved it! Upon walking up to the building, there are several signs in two different languages talking about outside drinks, and a few other topics. I suppose they've had issues in the past, but it's still a little weird to have a bunch of these signs bombarding you, as you walk in. Once we walked inside, we saw the kitchen to the right and the lobby to the left. The lobby was quite outdated but nevertheless, it had a lot of charm to it. There was plenty of tables available to us, which was nice! At the table, they had some sauces and they also had another sign about kids not messing with the chopsticks, as it is seen as disrespectful in their culture. The menus were huge, both in size and quantity. Admittedly, it's a bit difficult to understand the menu as they're just numbered and we couldn't find a pattern. There were certain veggies in the beginning of the book, and then more near the end of the book. Many of their menu items looked delicious, so my friends and I opted for "family style". We were losing track of the numbers so each of us remembered one number from the menu, when it was time to order. We got some of the white rice, spicy pork, spicy cauliflower, buns, fried gyoza, and green beans. Everything was really good and there wasn't really any dish I didn't like. However, one dish definitely stood out from the rest. The green beans were so freaking good. They had garlic with them and just tasted out of this world good. We only had one person working FOH during our visit but she was amazing. She did a great job with refills, everything came out quick and correct. The overall vibes at Mom's Kitchen feel quite a bit outdated, but it also has a home-y feel to it. I think the signs everywhere are a bit passive aggressive. I mean, I am sure they had a few issues behind the signs but a lot of restaurants have issues with customers--that doesn't always make them hang signs everywhere about it. The menu items themselves are awesome and we loved our food. Though, I do think that they could reorganize their menu to make it easier to read and decide the order. The service was great and it was an awesome experience throughout. We would definitely visit Mom's Kitchen again for the authenticity and the delicious menu items!“
