This was phenomenal. Stopped in on a whim and loved everything. I lived in Brooklyn where I got to know my love of southern and soul food. This was definitely up there with the best I had out there. Will 100% be coming back for those awesome collard greens and corn bread. Thank you!!

They need to clean out whatever they’re frying their food in. My chicken fried chicken looked fine, but the burnt taste was so infused into every bite that removing the breading didn’t even help.

Everything was amazing but you have to save room for lemon bars! And make sure to get the yams as a side.This is REAL southern food and was some of the overall best food I have had in Utah. I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and collared greens. The fried chicken was crispy, fresh, seasoned really well and not at all greasy. The maple syrup / hot sauce mix that came with it was also very good even though it may sound like a weird combination. My wife got the shrimp Mac and cheese with yams and corn. The Mac and cheese sauce was really thick and delicious. It stuck onto the noodles very well so every bite was very cheesy and rich.Service was great with a southern and family atmosphere. All the food is made to order fresh so don’t expect it to be fast food speed. We will absolutely be coming back!
Great food, HUGE portions. The sides that come with the mains are also delicious. Great pricing, much less than you’d pay to get this size a dinner anywhere else. Servers are so nice, I have a good experience every time.

We had a great experience! Our server was helpful, sweet, and attentive. The food was delicious. We tried the chicken fried chicken, blackened pork chops, and pumpkin cheesecake! The meal was really big, so we had leftovers for lunch the next day and it was still tasty!
