“I recently visited Mountain Peak Cafe, and I have to say, it's quickly become my new favorite spot when I travel to Gunnison. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations. The coffee itself is outstanding, love the seasonal drinks. I also love their variety of sandwiches, which pair wonderfully with their drinks. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Mountain Peak Cafe is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality coffee and a warm, inviting environment!”

“The food is always fresh and hot. The ice cream and drinks are cold and refreshing. The staff is kind. The environment is clean and friendly. The food can take some time to get finished, but only because they cook it to order. They have an inside seating area and order counter. Outside seating and order window, and a drive-through!

Parking: Parking can be a little difficult, especially when busy. But across the street has more spots. They also have a drive-through.”

“Literally WOW! We order from here all the time and this time it was AMAZING! They are always pretty great, but this go around Taylor made our sandwiches so beautifully and they taste even BETTER! “3-Meat Pizza was excellent! Service was fast and friendly.Choices are limited at this location: As of 10/15/2020 they had Hawaiian, Three Meat, and Hot & Ready, Chicken wings, Cheese stix, and Crazy Bread. No online ordering, extra most bestest, supreme, or make-your-own options, yet.”

“We stopped here to grab a quick bite after a basketball game. It does have a sit down and tables for large and small groups. Service was relatively quick and the food was good! I had the sticky chicken and it was larger than expected and it was so good. Very comparable to wingers chicken but I’d almost say better because of the size! I also got the battered fries and the girl at the counter was right that they’re the best. Well worth the $9 spent. My kids enjoyed their nuggets and the pizza sticks. No picture, but we also got a hot fudge sundae and it was so good. Great fudge! We asked for extra fudge and they brought it right out. It’s such a large menu I plan to go back whenever we drive through again to try more items. Or get more sticky chicken! The restaurant, though old, is clean and there’s cute signage around. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Parking: There weren’t any specified spots so we just parked somewhere that’d be out of the way of the drive through.

“incredible hard shelled tacos and my husband LOVES the Carna asada plate. we eat there weekly it's less expensive than fast food. I have a hard time with the spice and I have not had any problems. Best Mexican I have ever ate. Thank you so much and the service is great.”
