“Incredible breakfast sandwich! Easily best I have had in my life. They don't try to reinvent the wheel with unusual ingredients or a special sauce. Ingredients are high quality and simple. When we first arrived to Salt Egg City we thought we were in the wrong place. Inside the marked door was a large warehouse like space with racks of storage and boxes. Nestled in the boxes is a tiny kitchen area and 3 chefs feverishly working to make the best breakfast sandwich in the state. The chef that took our order from the simple and comforting menu was friendly and the wait was short. We will absolutely be back!“
“Wow! What a gem and wonderful sandwich and deli shop! The two owners are very friendly. We found out a short history how the shop has had two lives spanning 60 some odd years. It's first life was a fresh fruits and vegetables market. The building structure brought me back in time when the Salt Lake area had lots of farms and orchards; with the building having lots of garage doors that opened in the past and stands, full of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables, would be pushed out for customers to shop from and at the end of the day, pushed back in. For the past 30 years it has been a sandwich shop. The food is fantastic and the potatoe salad is so delish; reminding me of my mom's salad.“

I was a little hesitant to get it Mikes way because it was a large sandwich and I was afraid my kids wouldn’t eat it. All the ingredients were fresh except for the lettuce but overall it was great and the kids didn’t even notice the onions. I would go back to this specific place because of how friendly the staff were.“

“I've been in my Jersey Mike's Subs era lately. They make a good sandwich! They only have one veggie option here, but the one option they do have is delicious and packed with provolone cheese. This particular location packs this sandwich with cheese, which I appreciate. You can order your sandwich the Jersey Mike's way which comes with onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar and olive oil, salt and oregano, and it's a true masterpiece. I just look away when they add the oil because it's none of my business how much oil they are putting on my sandwich. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. Is this place the pinnacle of health? No. But that's okay because it's delicious and that's just as important. “As far as sandwich shop franchises go, I really like Jersey Mike’s. The food is always fresh and the service is great. I came in here once with my toddler and while I was ordering he grabbed a bag of chips and impulsively slammed them on the ground. I looked at the worker in horror and apologized saying I’d of course pay for them. But they said not to worry and that we could keep them no charge. Five stars just for how nice they all were!“

She helped me with what I wanted and instructed other employees to take good care of me then and in future visits. The food is great and there is one employee there who always has a great attitude. My two gripes warranting the 4 instead of 5 stars are as follows; 1. It feels a bit overpriced for a quick pickup cafe. 2. A lot of the staff seem pretty grumpy the several times I've gone in. “The lunch meats are high quality with a low price. They have a diverse selection of Italian meats and all are very good except the generic ham. The cheese selection is limited to Italian but price is good. The Granatos pastas are great as always.“
