“Solid choice of restaurant. The food was delivered fresh and tasty. The highlight of our meal was the DIRTY GIRL, it's made of the perfect blend of coffee and peanut butter flavors. I would describe it as a milkshake version of a latte. The place was clean and it had a fun ambiance. However, my visit left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the rather odd interaction we had with the hostess regarding our service dog. While I understand that some establishments have protocols in place regarding service animals, the barrage of questions we faced felt unnecessary and almost accusatory. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the hostess, only to be immediately bombarded with inquiries about our service dog. While I appreciate diligence in ensuring compliance with regulations, the sheer number of questions made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being interrogated or doubted. It's important to note that our service dog is legitimate, and we have never encountered such thorough questioning before. Although I didn't take issue with providing necessary information about our service dog, the manner in which it was done left much to be desired. It felt as though there was a strange agenda behind the interrogation, rather than a genuine concern for compliance. Despite this initial discomfort, I must commend the restaurant on other aspects of our experience. S/o to our Neil-Patrick-Harris-look-a-like service, he was phenomenal! He was extremely welcoming and helpful! Along with other of the servers, they provided us with valuable insights and tips for hiking in the area!”

“This is the best steak ? I have ever! If you are looking for a dining experience never to be forgotten this is it. This may be one of the best restaurants in Utah.”

“We went to Canyon Breeze restaurant at the Red Mountain Resort last night with a party of 7. The whole evening was delightful. The menu has improved and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and because it was busy, it was timed and explained. The Cocktail menu was very creative and the wine and beer selection was very good. We had 2 dishes of shareable plates and the taste and presentation was worthy and delicious. The main course I had was the Salmon and it was beautifully presented, delicious and filling. We will be back….”

“It's too bad they don't take reservations on the weekends. It's too long of a wait for us, so it's better to go Monday-Thursday. Fantastic if the rumor is true and they are building a second on the south end of town.Parking: Not near enough parking. Be careful of where you park on street or near neighboring business you could get towed.”

“The guava danish was excellent. I really love the thought behind this bakery and wish there were more like it. I do wish the portion sizes weren’t so Americanized, I like to get a lot of different items and try them and each one is the size of an entire meal. Id also love to see seasonal fruit offerings like peach pastries in August with fresh local peaches instead of April and canned peaches (I’m assuming they’re canned, they aren’t in season here right now). I’ll definitely drop by on my way through St George again and try other things.”

“Most Peruvian place are either good at rotisserie chicken or good at Lomo saltado but this place is great at both! An unreal Peruvian gem in Utah. I never would have guessed. The fried rice and yuca are excellent sides. Lomo Saltado is a huge portion and it is excellent. Maracuya is great, expensive and no refills but excellent. It is definitely worth the hype. Tres leches dessert was not good at all, fake whipping cream. I wasn't a fan of the Peruvian corn, it was more of a pico de gallo with beans and corn.”

“Advisory/Recommendation: personally I own no children. But if you are in possession of some, this place definitely has gremlins eating well and sitting down.The grilled cheese was on a sour dough, well baked and even keeled. Like yknow when the bread gets too greasy and you’re like, I love cheese but I’m good thanks? None of that here. The cheese retained its heat after sitting for about 8mins, since I had to eat my rice bowl.Elected to choose the Buddha. Why? It felt like it had the rice blend of greens and the homemade sauce. Plus, I don’t think I needed to eat lunch or dinner after the bowl. It erased the general hunger you’d associate with rabbit food. So great cooking choices by the cafe.And, almost not needing mention, the coffee is an easy win. There are times I wonder why I’d buy coffee on the road when I have a coffee bar at home. And this is why. They do it that much better”

“The inside of the restaurant is a bit bland, but everything else was awesome! Food was outstanding, service was great, and even the kids enjoyed the chicken. I completely forgot to get a picture of the food, but I'm planning on returning many times, so I'll get it next time. I had the combination plate and my wife had the chicken kabob plate.”

“I like the atmosphere of that restaurant, lost among that cluster of disparate food establishments. We were promptly seated, chose a well aged Spanish Rioja 2012 and placed our order. The diligent waitress delivered some nice “no knead bread”probably a mix of corn and wheat flour with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The carrot/Jalapeño pepper soup with crispy toast was excellent. My curried mussels, reminiscent of the French Charente mouclade, was enjoyable, although the mussels sea flavour had to fight the over powering coconut milk and its sweetness. The boeuf short ribs, just meat, no bone, was well braised, delicious! The grilled brine pork chop (requested rosé) was well done, a bit too dry, bland despite the brining. The tomato relish smoked flavour had vanished by the time it reached our table, the stuffed bleu cheese, of unknown pedigree, and the pear flavour had to fight for existence with the cinnamon spice. The cornbread pudding was pleasant. It puzzled me that a so well aged bottle of wine was not delivered and opened with a bit more careful etiquette, luckily there was no deposit and may be smelling the cork would ensure the wine is not corked. We love the Frette napkins we had noticed during our pre-covid dinner, a sign of class but the food and service was down graded a couple of notches compared to the experience with the last owners. Maybe youth has to mature a bit, still a nice experience….”

“Do not miss out on their smoked chicken, it is the best I’ve ever had! Ammon made it a point to answer any and all questions that I had about their menu. Prices are fair, and comparable to what you’d see in Vegas. That being said, quality and service of the food was better.I quite enjoyed being outside, though it was a cool and windy day. We showed up around 1:30, and by then, they were already sold out of their ribs and pulled pork. That was our mistake, we forgot about the time difference!Sides were excellent, and their house bbq sauce was a nice mix of smoky, tart, but thin ketchup based. The smoked mac and cheese was flavorful, and not greasy, and their cheesy potatoes were nice, if you’re a fan of scalloped style potatoes. I personally am, so I was pleased about itThe sauce complemented everything, and I was incredibly impressed with the bark on both their flat and point ends of the brisket. A lot of the families eating near us seemed to love the loaded nachos, which fed three adults that were sharing it.I’d definitely come back (earlier), just to take a few combo plates home!Parking: Gravel/rock lot, next to a building with paved parking.”

“Used to think this place was a little strange but then I tried the phoenix lemonade and it's legit the best thing I think I've ever drank. Also to that one person who was complaining about 3 buck coffee... where you gonna get coffee for any cheaper than that? Also the breakfast burrito at the other one was pretty good.”

“I absolutely love sitting outside this place. They have created such a pleasant experience. We had the Korean BBQ tacos, which are spicy and so good. The meat was marinated perfectly! We also had the Wachos, which are waffle fries nachos. They had jalapeños, but they could be removed. They served the cheese separately, so we were able to eat them for dinner and breakfast the next day without getting soggy. Love this place!!”

“The food was great, and Id go back. The kitchen seemed like it was run by 3-4 abuelitas--super nice. The place is small, so plan to wait a bit or sit outside. The tables outside weren't the cleanest, but it wasn't a problem. I'll definitely go back if I'm in St. George. The food was good, and the place was filled with locals.
