First time at R&R BBQ, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was not aware, before walking in, that it was an order at the counter and find a seat style restaurant. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was well prepared with great flavor and a nice bark. There are four different BBQ sauces at each table, from sweet to spicy. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely return next time I am in town. Parking is fairly east with plenty of parking in and around the vicinity of the restaurant.

By far the worst R&R location I have ever been to. The meat was served cold. The fries were cold. The ranch was like water. The fried pickles were soggy. What appeared ro be a mature maggot flew out or off of one of the sausage links. Even the brisket was 90% fat ends that had been trimmed off. Reached out to management to provide feedback and was ignored.

We get to the restaurant at 7:30 on a Thursday night right away we are told they are out of brisket and sausage. Which is what we go to eat. So we settled for pulled pork and the ribs. Which the pork had more fat than meat and that grosses me out. Then the ribs were not regular ribs, they were nasty looking and tasting rib tips. Very disappointing. Especially the price you pay for the food. Do a little better R and R bbq

Overall great place but imo still not quite worth the price. If price was reduced or qty of food increased it would be 5 star.

This place was decent, however they were out of the Turkey and the Andouille sausage meats. Leaving rib meat ,brisket , chicken and pulled pork. I ordered the brisket and by the time my plate was ready the manager came and told me they just ran out of brisket. They were very apologetic and ended up refunding my entire receipt . My question was this on a Thursday night how do you run out of 3 different meats one popular meats at a BBQ restaurant is brisket.Friday coming in less than 24 hours. I have worked from back to front of restaurants as well as have managed 3 of them. I learned one thing in the restaurant business do not run out or not order enough to get you through the weekend. I can only hope they have an order coming by Friday morning the 5th of April. I understand every restaurant has a bad day but I saw people leaving before ordering as I was walking out . I hope they get the ordering under control

Dry, tough and flavorless. You'd have a better time with a bag of jerky. Sauce was okay. Sad to see that one of the few bbq options in the valley is sub par.

The chopped brisket is at least a third just fat. You are not getting what you’re paying for. I’ve asked about it and they just tell me that’s the way it comes. I understand you need fat for flavor but it’s not acceptable to just give you a bunch of fat that you cannot eat. I’ve been going to this restaurant since they only had one location down in slc 600 S. I have experience this the last few times and I haven’t been since. I also do not appreciate the need to ask for a tip. This is not a normal restaurant where they serve your table. They are no different than any other fast food restaurant. Pay a good wage and don’t make us subsidize your payroll costs.

Ordered a 3 meat plate. 2 orders of ribs to go, full order of wings. 54 dollars with a tip. The brisket is dry as a bone and only a single order of ribs. The wings are tasteless at best.

I read a few reviews that said this place had the best brisket, mac & hush puppies. I wasn't impressed by any of it. The Google description of this place is misleading. "BBQ meats take center stage at this funky counter-serve, which also makes burgers, sides & beers." First of all, they don't serve you at the counter, or slice the meat fresh right in front of you. They take your order at the counter and serve you a number, then deliver your food to the table. Red flag number one. They don't actually serve beer here like the description says. Google Maps won't let me suggest an edit for that section. I ordered a two meat plate, and they up-charge $2.50 for each brisket. No big deal, I requested moist brisket since it was a premium. They only serve their moist brisket chopped. This is a major disappointment and red flag number two. If I wanted chopped beef, I wouldn't pay a premium for it. I also ordered ribs. They were dry on the cut ends, which indicates they had been cut and sitting for a while, not cut fresh off the rack. This is cafeteria style BBQ, in my opinion. The cashier was impatient with me taking my time looking at the menu. They looked for the tip on the receipt as soon as it printed before asking if I wanted a copy. I liked the dining room, and the bathrooms were clean.
