“Had a fantastic meal here recently! The green chili goat cheese queso with tortilla chips was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the wedge salad had a little spicy kick that made it extra fun. Drinks were a highlight too: the Bishop cocktail was sweet and smooth, and the Prickly Pear Moscow Mule gave a clever twist on the classic mule—both hit the spot. For mains, we tried the Green Chili Navajo Taco and the Bison Burger. Fresh, flavorful, and just the right portion size—plenty to enjoy but not so heavy that you feel stuffed. Honestly, the whole experience was a win: the flavors, the drinks, and even the way the dishes balanced each other made it feel like a perfect night out. Totally a place I’d tell locals about if they want a casual, delicious, and slightly elevated meal.”

“We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!”

“2nd time here, literally one of the best restaurants. Have been all over the country and a few international trips in the past 13 months and La Jolla Gove in Provo is literally do not miss. Bruschetta, tomato basil soup, seasonal salad are to die for. Entrees are consistent and the atmosphere is adorable. Wish it wasn’t a 4 hour drive Moriah was our server tonight and was on-point. Can’t wait to come back!”

““Server XO” December 3rd around 6-7PM. We came in to grab some boba and food to celebrate a loved one’s birthday. She love boba and plushies. She always loves ramen!!! I didn’t realize how much my group would order, we made sure to add tips to our checks. I greatly want to thank the cook and the kind lady that took our order. She was very understanding and patient. She knew exactly what to recommend to new comers. And even acknowledged that it was my little sister’s birthday and wished her a wonderful day. The workers did such a great job with the food and time management. I have ordered door dash from this place several times and it is definitely one of my favorite places of food choice. “Best subs you can get out of a chain experience! The grilled stuff is good, but the cold cuts are where they really shine. They also take gluten free seriously and educate their employees about wiping down equipment, changing gloves, etc. The quality of the sandwich construction can vary, but I’m always happy with one of their subs for dinner. My main complaint is that when ordering for pickup I always have to check if they gave me the right drink—I’ve been given a regular Mountain Dew instead of the Diet Dew I ordered a handful of times.”

“Best pizza in Utah County and I'm not sure it's all that close. Cheese Sticks and ranch are absolutely amazing, I love the pepperoni and breakfast bacon pizza as well. I recommend Two Jack's Pizza to everyone I talk to. I eat there far more often than I should. I have never had to wait long for an order. I used to joke when COVID began that if push came to shove I would singlehandedly keep Two Jack's in business. There is truth in all jest. Two Jack's is a wonderful establishment. Just writing about it brings me joy.”

“Rugged Grounds has friendly, knowledgeable baristas and very good coffee. The owners, Claire, Skylar and Ennis are often around and engage with their customers. Everyone is wonderful. I visit often and enjoy the vibe and the decor. A great deal of effort was involved to get Rugged Grounds up to speed and it shows. It is my favorite coffee shop!”

“I can't say exactly how many times my family and I have ordered food from Spicy Thai.
Everything there is so authentic and amazing. Spices used for their dishes are fresh and flavorful and the dishes they create are even better.

They also have an amazing lunch special that is more than enough food for one person and at a very reasonable price. There are four dishes that we absolutely love and highly recommend to anyone who wants to go on ledge and try something new:
Madman Curry (we get it mild), Tom Ga Khai Soup, so creamy and tangy, Pad Thai with chicken, also extremely good with lots of bean sprouts and green onions and last their pineapple fried rice with Shrimp.
We've had a lot of different dishes there but these are my favorite.
The service is alway fast, friendly, and the food always comes out hot and fresh.
If you haven't tried Thai food yet, try this place, it won't disappoint.”

“We received great customer service, the guys working were friendly and conversing with my man. We are originally from Hawaii so it was cool to know that we’re from Hawaii also. I tried the furikake chicken and teriyaki grilled beef, the beef was nice and tender and had good teriyaki flavor. My man got the furikake chicken and kalbi, the furikake chicken was flavorful and crispy. The kalbi was marinated well and the portions were good. We also got the Lau Lau, it was a little dry but it was pretty good when pairing it with the chilli pepper water. The guava cake and poke was okay, I feel like it would have been really good if we had it fresh. The containers said it was made the day before. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and this place does remind us of back home for sure!”

If you go here I would recommend knob hill and lombard street as well as their cheesy breadsticks. But, really anything you order will be great. The workers are super friendly and the place is always really clean. The restaurant just feels super cozy and I love the California theme, especially the giant mural on the wall. This place is perfect for a date night, and overall its just a great experience.”

Watching him work is like watching a highlight reel—no filler, no mistakes, just banger after banger.

If you have the opportunity to work with, know, or even briefly exist in the same space as Nathaniel, take it. Five stars isn’t enough. I’d give him six if the system wasn’t afraid of the truth.”

I missed my alarm, missed my exit on I-15, late for work/missed a meeting, make-up not done and what was done was trash, the list goes on... Needless to say, I had the worst morning E V E R!! I NEEDED Dutch Bros. in my life FOR sure today! So, I pull up and this nameless, very cute, gentleman working the window met me with an amazing smile and gratitude for coming 'in' this morning. He asked how my day was thus far and I let him have all of it; the alarm, the exit, my make-up - all of it! He didn't seem rushed, he never took his eyes away from me to look at the, I am sure, was a very long line behind me, he didn't seem or appear to be any sort of hurry to get me the hell out of the line. He just listened and .... took it upon himself to do what he could do to make my life better this morning. He listened with grace and compassion. I want him (and his boss) to know how amazing that was and just how much I appreciated him for taking time with me and proceed to help in a way that he could help - essentially, this crazy stranger - have a better day - and he was successful!! If anyone knows this man's name, I would love to call him out directly. Thank you 'Dutch Bros. Hero of the Day' - you are the reason I choose DB over everyone else! - xoxo”

After Olive Garden refused, and Habit Burger Grill had a closed dining room (drive thru isn't an option for pedestrians), I found myself at Marco's Pizza. “Restaurant/cafe inside the tech center. Public welcome. On my visit, ordered the X Everything burger meal. The hood over the grill was being serviced and staff informed me there would be a 10 minute delay, which was very much appreciated to know before finalizing my order. The menu has interesting unique offerings, but chose their premier burger offering for lunch.
There is a soda fountain with free refills and the condiments and utensils nearby the fountain. The restaurant interior is spacious being able to potentially accommodate 60+ patrons at a time. The perimeter tables have power outlets with USB-A ports right by the table if you need to charge a phone or power a device.
During my visit, there was ambiance music that was a little on the loud side as well as a football game that compounded the eating area noise. The two combined are not unusual for a restaurant, but would definitely interfere with a conference phone call or video chat.
When my order arrived, I was impressed with the taste and crispness of the French fries and green sauce. The burger was okay, but I wish I had been able to order the egg over medium for a little soft yolk. Instead the egg yolk was fully cooked. The bun on the bottom was damp and I'm still wondering why. Once I started the burger I realized I didn't have a single napkin. The taste of the burger was otherwise good and well seasoned.
I'm unfortunately not a clean eater and usually need 3-4 napkins during a meal, but initially had difficulty finding one. Eventually I found one napkin wrapped in a utensils pouch back by the soda fountain. I'm sure if I'd bothered the staff behind the counter, back in the kitchen they would've provided napkins, but the lone napkin sufficed today.

I will likely return to try some of the other food offerings in the near future.”

“My wife and I finally stopped by Tamale Market in Provo, after hearing great things about their tamales. We were met at the door by a wonderful guy who introduced us to their amazing homemade tamales. We ended up ordering a half dozen after trying their Red Chile Beef, which was absolutely delicious. Very sweet corn tamales but they are fantastic. I’d love to see if the people giving out one star reviews have traveled outside Utah… If someone finds a better tamale in Utah let me know!”

“Station 22 was a really enjoyable stop for us. The place has a warm, rustic feel with a comfortable hometown vibe that makes you want to sit back and relax. It’s a great mix of casual and polished, perfect for a laid-back dinner or weekend brunch.

We tried a few Southern-style dishes, and the flavors were bold and satisfying. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the sides had that homemade touch. Portions were generous, and everything came out nicely plated. You can tell they focus on comfort food done right.

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀”

“I was on-campus today doing a photo shoot for an old friend and classmate from BYU and for old times sake, we grabbed a bite at the Cougareat. This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. Nicely done BYU! PS: The plethora of soda offerings with caffeine is the cherry on top. 😁👍🏻”

“First time in this restaurant. Let me tell you how it went.  Let’s start with it was pretty much empty. Was around 9pm. They close at 10Pm. It’s in Provo, Utah in Riverwoods. The cashier lady was polite and helpful. Choose the 3 plate option. They said that they have an award-winning ribs so I had to try it. •The ribs were good. Well cooked •The mashed potato was unbelievably good. It had garlic taste. But not too strong, just right. •The coleslaw was pretty good. I don’t really like coleslaw, so I was very satisfied. It had a crunchy texture that I enjoyed. •The sausage was slightly spicy. And juicy. •The brisket was unbelievably soft and tender They have four type of sauce on the table, so you get to choose from a mustard sauce flavor, spicy sauce, and sweet barbecue and original barbecue. It was getting late, so the lady came to our table and asked if we were done with our food and I told her we weren’t and then she was very nice to bring us a box to go, and told us to go from the other exit because the other door was closed. Yes, I felt a little pressured, but it’s also because they were about to close so I am understandable, but I still had a great time even though all of that situation happened. I would definitely go back and I won’t order the sausages because that was not my favorite but everything else I would. Let me know what you think when you go try it ”
