“We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!”

Our server Lily was just absolutely the sweetest. She always brought us refills before we even knew we needed it. Answered all of our questions. Treated us like royalty! She seriously deserves a raise. The food was also astronomical I have a very picky husband and he said that's the best dinner he's had a long time. They also gave us a free dessert for our wedding anniversary. I'm glad we picked this place to celebrate 🙂”

“This was my first time at Black Sheep. (I'm visiting from out of state.). The food and cocktails knocked my socks off. I had green chili stew with fry bread, a Naughty Palmer and the jalapeño margarita. The food was as good as I've had in recent memory—and I think I eat very well. The cocktails were perfection. I think I know good cocktails, and I know swill. What struck me most about the cocktails was the contrast with the $21 old fashioned I had the day before at Owl Bar at Sundance. I can't wait to get back to Black Sheep. I may not return to Owl Bar—unfortunate, because I always stay at Sundance.”

“2nd time here, literally one of the best restaurants. Have been all over the country and a few international trips in the past 13 months and La Jolla Gove in Provo is literally do not miss. “You would not know that this is a Korean fried chicken place.
The boneless chicken pieces are thigh meat. It comes out juicy and crispy. They cook it with the skin which makes it more umami.
We tried 4 sauces, the Sweet Red, Angry Red, Angry soy, Creamy Onion. The sauces were pretty good but the Angry sauces were not spicy. It's definitely adjusted to the American palate. To me, the Creamy onion taste a lot like a mayonnaise base sauce. A lot of people seems to like it. Although it was pretty good. I could only eat a couple pieces as it was quite heavy. I think that it's a pretty decent price for Korean fried chicken, 8 pieces for $9.99.
Note they are closed between 3-5pm. I recommend ordering in advance. We called in advance and still waited 20 mins. Worth the detour if you are in the area.”

I recommend Two Jack's Pizza to everyone I talk to. I eat there far more often than I should. I have never had to wait long for an order. I used to joke when COVID began that if push came to shove I would singlehandedly keep Two Jack's in business. There is truth in all jest. Two Jack's is a wonderful establishment. Just writing about it brings me joy.”

The service was exceptional, attentive and friendly. Our food and drinks arrived at the table quickly and everything was provided at the perfect time.

The food serving was large and so freaking delicious! I'm Peruvian and I love feeling close to home when I'm in these restaurants. I felt like I was home, the music the service and food brought me back.

We got a pitcher of passion fruit juice, papa a la huancaina, lomo saltado con arroz chaufa, pollo la brasa y canchita. The huancaina sauce was a little different from what I'm used to but nonetheless delicious. I'm sure being in Utah it may be harder to get the all Peruvian spices needed. Everything tastes amazing this is a really great Peruvian restaurant and if you are craving or want to try something new this is the place to go.”

“We ate here with three generations and everyone was happy. Skip the rice and get two orders of beans (or just one order, but you have to get the beans). No matter what, order something with cheese (quesadilla or Gringas tacos) because they use the authentic Mexican cheese that’s hard to find in the States. I felt the proportions-to-price ratio was awesome (the burritos are huge) and we left with leftovers. I LOVE that they keep all the condiments separate so if you like soapy cilantro you can add that or skip it like a civilized person. Extra points for having cruditos! We were too full to order dessert but the flan looked good.”

“First time in this restaurant. Let me tell you how it went.  Let’s start with it was pretty much empty. Was around 9pm. They close at 10Pm. It’s in Provo, Utah in Riverwoods. The cashier lady was polite and helpful. Choose the 3 plate option. They said that they have an award-winning ribs so I had to try it. •The ribs were good. Well cooked •The mashed potato was unbelievably good. It had garlic taste. But not too strong, just right. •The coleslaw was pretty good. I don’t really like coleslaw, so I was very satisfied. It had a crunchy texture that I enjoyed. •The sausage was slightly spicy. And juicy. •The brisket was unbelievably soft and tender They have four type of sauce on the table, so you get to choose from a mustard sauce flavor, spicy sauce, and sweet barbecue and original barbecue. It was getting late, so the lady came to our table and asked if we were done with our food and I told her we weren’t and then she was very nice to bring us a box to go, and told us to go from the other exit because the other door was closed. Yes, I felt a little pressured, but it’s also because they were about to close so I am understandable, but I still had a great time even though all of that situation happened. I would definitely go back and I won’t order the sausages because that was not my favorite but everything else I would. Let me know what you think when you go try it ”

“I must shout out to the gentleman (I do not know his name - he has ash/blond, longer hair and such a cute smile) working the drive-up window this morning (12.29.25) absolutely made my ENTIRE day!! It is obviously Monday so it was bad just because of that but I added a whole host of other 'fun' things' just in case I needed something extra. I missed my alarm, missed my exit on I-15, late for work/missed a meeting, make-up not done and what was done was trash, the list goes on... Needless to say, I had the worst morning E V E R!! I NEEDED Dutch Bros. in my life FOR sure today! So, I pull up and this nameless, very cute, gentleman working the window met me with an amazing smile and gratitude for coming 'in' this morning. He asked how my day was thus far and I let him have all of it; the alarm, the exit, my make-up - all of it! He didn't seem rushed, he never took his eyes away from me to look at the, I am sure, was a very long line behind me, he didn't seem or appear to be any sort of hurry to get me the hell out of the line. He just listened and .... took it upon himself to do what he could do to make my life better this morning. He listened with grace and compassion. I want him (and his boss) to know how amazing that was and just how much I appreciated him for taking time with me and proceed to help in a way that he could help - essentially, this crazy stranger - have a better day - and he was successful!! If anyone knows this man's name, I would love to call him out directly. Thank you 'Dutch Bros. Hero of the Day' - you are the reason I choose DB over everyone else! - xoxo”

“We’ve been Marcos pizza lovers for years. We just moved to this area and went to this location for the first time a few months ago. Don’t order delivery, they use Uber services to deliver and there’s no option for “direct to me”. Our driver picked up two other orders after picking up mine and dropped them off on the way. I messaged the driver a few times and they kept saying, “oh it’s ok! Your pizza is in a warmer box. It’ll be fresh when I get there!”
It took the driver 55 minutes to deliver the cold pizzas to me with a soggy crust. (Not Marcos fault, Ubers fault) From Marco’s pizza to my house is only 10 minutes. I should have just picked it up. I learned my lesson. I reached out to the manager to please have them update this service. (I work full time, I really didn’t want to leave the house again.) I would have paid the extra $2.99 for a “direct to me” delivery. Unfortunately it’s not an option for them to add that service yet.

Anyway, the owner was so kind and felt terrible about the delivery experience that he credited my account to come back and have a do-over! (We opted to pick up the pizzas this time.) The girl who took my call was so kind. And they made our pizzas fresh. (As they do for everyone). Everything was so good. We’ll be back again! We love the quality of Marcos Pizza! And the kindness of a good manager.
Hopefully in the near future, they can fix/update their delivery options. But for now, a pick up order is perfect.”

We were met at the door by a wonderful guy who introduced us to their amazing homemade tamales. We ended up ordering a half dozen after trying their Red Chile Beef, which was absolutely delicious. Very sweet corn tamales but they are fantastic. I’d love to see if the people giving out one star reviews have traveled outside Utah… If someone finds a better tamale in Utah let me know!”

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀”

This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. If you're craving authentic teriyaki, this is the spot. We ordered the chicken, beef, and shrimp combo with rice and noodles, and every single protein was cooked perfectly, juicy chicken, tender beef, and shrimp that was clearly fresh, not frozen and reheated. The teriyaki sauce had that perfect balance of sweet and savory without being overly sugary like a lot of places.

The rice was fluffy, the noodles were seasoned just right, and you could tell everything was made fresh to order, not sitting under a heat lamp. Portions were generous for the price, and the flavor was consistent across all three proteins, not always the case when you order a combo plate.

“I had the best experience at any Coldstone that I've been to yesterday morning. We had done a family 5k that morning, and it was HOT. On the way home, I told my girls we were going to go to Coldstone to get some ice cream. We got to the store at 10:55, and it looked like they were opening the doors a few minutes early. We asked if we could come in, and they said absolutely.

The lady who assisted us was super nice, offered my little kids to try any ice cream flavor they wanted, and suggested the Chocolate Truffle for me to try (which I loved). She even attempted to upsell a cone cup, but did so when my kids were not paying attention so as not to cause them to whine when I declined. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT!! I hate it when a store tries to weaponize my kids to get me to buy things, so the fact that she upsold but respectfully made me very happy!!

A gentleman came and helped and asked about our day and was generally very friendly. I assume he was the manager. When I told him we had come in due to a birthday coupon, he was kind and gracious about wishing me a happy birthday and asking about my day. As we were eating our ice cream, the lady then asked me if we would like any cups for water (she could probably see we were parched), and it was super nice that she gave us enough cups for all of our kids as well.
