“Best empanadas in the city. This place is amazing. My wife and I grab a couple empanadas pepeadas every Friday afternoon. The tequeños are really good as well. Orders usually take 10-20 minutes, so don't come here in a rush. It's always worth the wait!“

“I live out of town and have been coming to this restaurant whenever I happen to be in Salt Lake City since at least 2009. The owners are Colombian and Venezuelan, and know their cooking well. This is as authentic as you can get for Colombian and Venezuelan cuisine. This time I ordered the small mondongo soup with rice. What is Mondongo? Beef stomach lining, Spanish might call it callos, British would call it Tripe, Mexicans might call it menudo. Same ingredient but much lighter and flavorful. Very satisfying when the days are cold. The tequeños are the Venezuelan version of fried mozzarela sticks, some claim them as the "entry drug" to Venezuelan cuisine. I think they have a point. A sign the food is authentic- look around at the other restaurant patrons.“

“The food is very good, but the service is not, an older lady with glasses serves very poorly, there were 5 of us who went to lunch from work and one of the boys brought lunch, we asked the lady to allow her to heat up her food and let her If necessary, charge a fee for heating, even though we were going to consume 4 more people, the lady refused and sent another waitress not to help. The colleague had to go out to eat cold food in the car. Terrible service and total lack of humanity“

“Family run restaurant with live music. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a bit of a language barrier on both sides but we figured it out. High quality food and drinks. Plenty of space for a large group. Definitely a repeat for our group.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in.“

“My friend & I went for lunch about 12:30 on a Friday. We mentioned to our server that it was our first visit & he immediately went over the menu with us to explain the different choices. I had the vegan arepa & my friend had the grilled steak patacon. Hers was prepared with the wrong bread and the server wanted to fix it before he even set it down. She told him she was happy to just try it so he came back with complimentary fried plantain. I took a Tres Leches dessert to go. EVERYTHING was amazingly tasty! We will definitely add this to our list of go-to restaurants!“
