This was my 3rd visit to a 3rd location of Don Joaquin Street Tacos. I was expecting to have the same experience but did not.First they didn’t get our order right. My husband had ordered a taco and side of rice. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries. When he asked about the rice, the clerk said he didn’t know he wanted it. These reviews remind me why I should never trust what gringos say about tacos.. or really any ethnic food. Of course asada will have fat and gristle pieces, that’s the cut of beef. And it doesn’t hurt anyone to learn a bit of spanish or be patient communicating with a non native speaker, esp when you’re taking part in their culture’s traditions. Don Joaquin delivered an exceptional experience as always. Every one of their locations throughout Utah County consistently makes fantastic Mexican food. It's one of my favorite restaurants to go to wherever I am.
