I eat at Cafe Zupas at the District quite a bit, but today they went above and beyond. I am across the country and my daughter is at home sick alone. I wanted to send her a yummy meal and some extra TLC. When I was completing the order, I forgot to add the Sprite soda to help calm my daughter‘s stomach. I called the store and they were more than happy to add some extra sprite soda to my order at no extra charge.Thank you ? so much, it means the world ?

Can’t eat here anymore. The food quality has gone down at all locations. The Ultimate Grill Cheese is actually an Ultimate Microwave Cheese sandwich on soft bread (the toasted bread made it good). Ended up spending $35 on two sandwiches and two half soups. Ridiculous, especially since the BBQ brisket sandwich was served cold and had almost no brisket on it (literally 90% coleslaw, 5% pickles and 5% brisket).Looks like Zupas only cares about profits since their prices are high, quality is low and quantity is low. Customers in line have to wait for online orders to be filled before being attended to.You’ve lost a longtime customer. You’re one business I wouldn’t feel bad to see go under.

Is it the District or just Cafe Zupas in general?Where to begin? Fool me once; shame on you. Fool me twice; shame on me. Fool me thrice? I won’t get fooled again.I now see a trend happening at Cafe Zupas in South Jordan at the District. I hope it’s isolated to this location but I wonder. The servers seem to have confused “efficiency” with their particular assignment rather than efficiency and quality of the overall product. Each station worked to get their portion of food out super quick but there seemed to be a log jam as they either gathered the food together or at the point of sail. The result was stacks of salad, sandwiches, and soup clogging up the work space and getting mixed up lost and stale.Soup - COLDSandwiches - COLDSalad - WILTINGKids Meals - Literally lost.My wife had to instruct the worker on what belonged in her power bowl. She didn’t believe that sugar snap peas belonged in the curry bowl. It was written on the board! My soup and sandwich literally sat on the dessert counter for 20mins before I could pay and sit down. Of the two kids meals we ordered:1- the grilled cheese and tomato basil pasta soup had to be remade because they were gone.2- the chicken strips had to be remade because they were cold. The lady in front of us when asked what she ordered responded, “ I had that cold soup right there.” The worker took the bowl, dumped it back into the soup vat and re-scooped the soup back into the bowl. What a mess.Could the salad, sandwiches, and soup just sat in their vats and individual component bins unmade until needed rather than in the work space getting warm or cold or stale?

This location is run so poorly. Prioritize online orders while the in store queue moves at a glacial pace. When it was finally our turn to checkout we had to wait another 10 min while they found all the items for our order. Only teenagers working with no supervision.Desperately in need of a better process, leadership & customer experience.

I’ll preface by saying that I actually really like Zupas. I am disappointed that they have taken away some of my favorites and replaced with the bowls, which I’m not a big fan of. This review, however, is strictly for this location. The employees are very nice and try hard. But there are couple issues every single time we come (we only come during dinner time ) - the pipeline is always very busy and the cashier can’t keep up. Food is piling up to the point they have no room to stack it. Another issue is they seem not to have time to clean the tables. One time we came and there was literally only one table in the whole restaurant that was clean. All others had dirty dishes on them. That’s kind of gross and unappetizing. Looks like the staff is stretched thin, the management should find ways to address this. This has been an ongoing issue and it makes us not want to come anymore.

Staff messed up our order, that’s fine, totally happens but then they continued to talk bad about our order and us in front of me. I get ranting but please don’t talk bad in front of customers.

6 o’clock on a Wednesday not to busy, Was greeted at the counter by an employee, super kind and great attitude, food was ready very fast but checkout took close to 5 minutes, I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese and a half size tomato soup, it came with a strawberry covered in chocolate and a role, Sandwich was warm and delicious, so was soup, not to hot, just perfect, The role could have been cooked a little more and was rather bland but other than that everything was amazing! The tables were pretty clean and so was the whole restaurant, I paid $14.06 for the meal and it was ok priced, Will visit again!TLDR: Great food, ok priced, service was decently fast on a Wednesday at dinner time.Thank to the following Employees: Bruno and KarliVegetarian options: Plenty of Vegetarian and Vegan optionsParking: Parking lot is small and usually pretty fullKid-friendliness: Great for kids, great kids meal optionsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs

I ordered curbside pick up try 2 and they didn’t give me the chocolate covered strawberry. They didn’t even say anything about not putting it in there…

This Zupas location used to be the epitome of Customer Service, speed, and efficiency. It used to be staffed with happy, smiling, fast moving staff that clearly believed in service and teamwork. Now the staff are aloof, distracted, disoriented, bickering, and lacking communication skills. Something has devolved. I don’t like to go there because the experience has changed so much.

Bruno was one of the best managers I have seen. Not only did he help me with my order but showed so much kindness while training his employees. He is an example to all in his store and I will definitely be returning!

Husband ordered a large vegetable soup with chickpeas. Not one chickpea in the bowl, line was way too long to take back. Turkey cranberry sandwich had a grand two thin slices of Turkey. Will not be returning.
