I had the SKS sandwich and I added avocado. It was very good. The cheese soup with broccoli and carrots and the vegetable beef soup were very good too. Service was fast and friendly. The prices seemed fair. The building could use a new awning and sign because they are very weathered.

Love this hole in the wall. I first tried them through Doordash and enjoyed it so much I went in person. Do not let the appearance of the restaurant fool you, the food is great! I order the SKS with tomato soup and have loved it every time I've had it. The atmosphere of the actual restaurant isn't anything fancy at all, but honestly adds to the experience in my opinion. Great price (everything is so expensive now) for the amount of food you get.

Had a couple lovely lunches here while visiting town—had to come back after the first visit! Amazing homemade soup made fresh, wonderful service from all staff, and made a delightful connection with the general manager Robbie who shared some of the history of the shop with us. We’ll make a point to come back. Again and again. ;)

Very good soup, we didn't try sandwiches, but each soup is served with a yummy piece of bread that she's some delicious seasoning on top of it. I really appreciated that the staff knew what ingredients were in each soup. We have a dairy intolerance and they were able to tell us that the bread with the soup doesn't contain any dairy nor did the split pea soup, vegetable beef and chili (those were the ones we asked about). The soups we tried were very tasty! The chili was a bit more soupy than I typically get or make, but we both really liked it! The split pea soup was very flavorful and had ham in it. Yum! The beef and vegetable soup was so good. All the meat was tender as can be and the flavors were out of this world. I would recommend all three. We will definitely be back soon!

Great hidden gem! Some friends recommended this restaurant and I can't believe I haven't gone before (the name through me off and we all had a good laugh). I had the avocado BLT with swiss and a cup of split pea soup. Delicious! It's a no-frills, hole in the wall but it's got a great energy and the food is hearty. You order at the counter and the food is quickly brought out to a table. There is a soda machine and other beverages that are self-service. It's a small place, so I recommend getting their early for lunch. I definitely see myself eating there a lot in the future, especially when it's cold out and I just want a nice, warm bowl of homemade soup.
