“The guava danish was excellent. I really love the thought behind this bakery and wish there were more like it. I do wish the portion sizes weren’t so Americanized, I like to get a lot of different items and try them and each one is the size of an entire meal. Id also love to see seasonal fruit offerings like peach pastries in August with fresh local peaches instead of April and canned peaches (I’m assuming they’re canned, they aren’t in season here right now). I’ll definitely drop by on my way through St George again and try other things.“
“The French Bakery came highly recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. We both indulged in the "James Way" Banh Mi Sandwich, boasting a delightful assortment of cucumbers, lettuce, ham, and Asiago cheese, which left us thoroughly satisfied. Opting for a to-go order, our dessert selection included a heavenly array of treats: crème brûlée, cheesecake, coconut macaroons, cannoli, triple chocolate mousse, and an intriguing Asiago, basil, and roasted red peppers quiche. Despite the bustling atmosphere with people coming and going, the service remained commendable, and the staff were notably friendly. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we left with contented palates and smiles on our faces.“
“I imagine a 5 star chef pulling the oatmeal cookie out at the perfect temperature and then perhaps putting a little torch to the top just to add a little extra crisp to it but the inside is still perfectly soft and not doughy…I don’t know how to describe these cookies other than to say they are delicious and not at all like the competition in that they taste original and homemade all in the same bite…If the Sloth brand were to participate in the cookie wars happening in Northern Utah, they would win!“
“Mary’s Mountain Cookies has nailed it! They are the perfect sweetness and taste like real food rather than mass produced junk of other cookies places. The staff is friendly and helpful. I crave the lemon doodle daily!! Plus they have a big selection of gluten free cookies as well so everyone can join the party!“
“These cakes are amazing and worth the price! And the service is even better. I ordered a cake in Utah. I live in Utah and accidentally ordered the cake I needed in Colorado. The Colorado store was amazingly understanding and the store in Utah quickly through together the exact cake I ordered and we’re so kind to take care of me and my needs.“
“The cinnamon rolls were very good and we definitely recommend everyone go check them out. My daughter preferred, and loved, the "crème" version which I also got, but if we go back I'll get the regular one because I missed the bready texture of a traditional cinnamon roll. The flavors were nice. My daughter got peanut butter and loved it and I got the orange. The gentleman at the counter was cheerful and kind. He explained the menu and was very focused on providing quality customer service. I absolutely recommend you try them out. This isn't so much of a con, but feedback to the store:I really hate gimmicky ordering processes. I don't think I'm alone in this because even large chains like Starbucks don't correct customers if they say "large" instead of the Starbucks term "venti." It's difficult to order and customers really don't want to feel stupid if they say "cream" and then you say "crème." We want to give you our money, and the cinnamon rolls were very good, I think a lot of us wish we could just order without the gimmicks and hoops that are designed for marketing but a pain for customers. The only other thing we ran into is the packaging for to go orders. We had to leave so our cinnamon rolls were put into a box. Without us realizing, they were put in the same box, and I'm unfortunately allergic to peanuts, so when all that yummy peanut butter drizzle went into the box with my orange cinnamon roll, it presented a problem for me. I've never run into the issue where food for separate individuals was packaged in the same container, besides bakeries, but this did feel like a different vibe so I wasn't expecting it. Just maybe give the customer the option. I know I could have said something and you would have fixed it, the guy there was awesome, but we were a bit frustrated with the ordering by that point so my daughter ended up saving mine for later and I had a small bite from a part that seemed "safe."Overall, a little bit of feedback, but the cinnamon rolls get five stars for deliciousness.“
“A lovely family-run local place with a bunch of yummy vegan options and cheerful staff. Nothing is too weird for nonvegans to enjoy. Salvadoran food, so not spicy. Tamales are very good and moist. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-07“
“This place is the best kept secret! It has THE best sourdough bread around. I consider myself a sourdough bread snob, and this place has beautiful loaves they make fresh daily. You have to get them pretty quickly out of the oven, or they go fast. The bread has a perfect sour taste that a lot of sourdough places lack. The bakers are friendly, and you can tell know what they are doing and put a lot of care into their loaves.“
“Delivered or pick-up cookies are always spot on for quality and appearance.Clean little space, no seating or ability to sit and eat. There is enough space to have a handful of people waiting or ordering. It is best to wait in the parking lot if you prefer more space, or if you don't care, get cozy with your fellow crumble cookie lovers.“
“Just ran into this place by accident while picking up some dinner form chipotle next door. I was amazed at the variety, great service, I got the dirty dozen two of each out of the 8 types of cookies they had. My favorite is the protein cookie.“
“It is a good bakery, it is a little more expensive but for the same reason that it is expensive, its product is good. Freshly made bread compared to Tres Amigos, which is also a good store but the bread is days old. Everything changed due to the pandemic but their service is good and as far as bread and cakes are concerned, it is fine in my opinion.Kid-friendliness: They have Mexican sweets for your children in case they crave them or snacks for the trip or a simple craving.“
“The associates were talking about some weird stuff when we walked in (they must not have seen us coming through the door), but they were super friendly. Cookies tasted good as expected, and yes crumbl is overpriced, if you don’t want overpriced cookies go to Walmart lol. But they taste good, and the cookies were actually much bigger at this location than other locations I’ve been. So kudos for that!! Great experience.“
“Holy Cheescake Bites these are amazing! I wasn’t expecting the wonderful explosion of flavor when I popped the first cheesecake bite in my mouth! They taste just like biting into a slice of gourmet cheesecake with a delightful crunch. A true masterpiece of cheesecake, flavor and texture! And the versatility of these bites! You can take them anywhere, anytime. I plan on packing a few on my next hiking and backpacking adventures. My only regret is that I didn’t get more. Buy two because you will not want to share these! Trust me!“
“The food was delicious, guy wth longer hair was really nice! The only complaint I have is due to a woman there wearing a tye dye shirt. She claimed to be from corporate or something. She was rude the the employees and did not stop talking the entire time I was there trying to eat. She definitely brought the atmosphere down and had some bad energy. Thankfully she doesn't work at this location so I'll definitely be going back.“
“I've ordered a slice of their delicious chocolate truffle cheesecake for the last couple of days (doordash). Today, they sent the slice with a free pint of ice cream and note attached. Mary's kindness and time taken to write a personalized note meant the world! Thank you guys for all you do!“
