“I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!“

“Wanting to try something different, we heard about the Turkish Coffee and wanted to see the process and taste a cup. Parking is really really challenging but once you find a spot, this is a cozy little house with many seating areas. The ordering counter is next to the setup for heating the Turkish Coffee. We enjoyed watching our server heat and pour this traditional cup. We especially enjoyed the seasonings that you could add to flavor the coffee. While it is a small cup, it sure is bold enough and packs a punch :) Glad we could try something different, check it out!“

“The hot honey sandos are great value and delicious. I also enjoyed a nice London fog. The few sweet pastries I’ve tried were just ok, even though they had sweet filling, the dough parts were too salty for my preference.I do think the croissants donuts are great and I’ve had some yummy shortbread cookies from this business before. The place has great natural lighting and friendly atmosphere. There’s a neat sitting area that could be cool for hosting small gatherings.Overall, I wish them success and I’d return to try other brunch offerings.“

“Cute place it is pricy but the filled Doughnut are pretty big. I recommend that you share them they are very big and sweet! Also the drinks come in 1 size I would also share this. The custom cake orders are amazing and I also get complements and questions every time I bring this cake around.“

“This place easily has the best Mexican pastries in Salt Lake City and even Utah. Their concha’s and tres leches are to die for! Whatever you get, you know it’ll be amazing. The family that owns it are also so kind and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“You have to try their stuffed French Toast. I am still dreaming about the lemon cream cheese filling. It only had a hint of lemon, but a whole lotta good everything else. The blueberry compote was delicious. It was super busy and I can see why. I can't wait to take my son who lived in Paris back to see what he thinks.“

“This is one of my absolute favorite dessert stops in SLC. The desserts are cute and obviously delicious! It’s always a tough choice picking what I want, but they do offer samples so that helps in the decision. The staff is always kind and helpful.Parking: There’s ton of free parking in the back which is helpful because doki doki is located in a busy traffic area.“

“Great little shop tucked in on State Street. Great selection for breakfast pastries. Huge portions! Great service--happy employees. Biggest drawback is the lack of parking because right in front of them is a bus stop, next to a construction site. But worth the risk of a parking ticket!!“

“Loved this place! My boyfriend has celiac, so it's hard to find desserts he can eat-- especially ones that don't have a cross-contamination risk. Luckily we found this place not too far from us! The staff was so friendly and the bakery was so clean. We loved it!“

“Very cute little place with very yummy pie options!! We went here on Pi Day and it was decorated with balloons and banners to celebrate 3.14. We opted to have ours warmed and they were amazing. I will forewarn that the traditional size pie is pretty small - after finishing them you're left saying "that's all??" They're definitely worth a stop by, but I'd encourage getting one of the large sized options so you don't leave with the munchies :)“

“Overall a great spot to grab a quick bagel! Mostly street parking, with a few indoor tables and an outdoor patio. The shop is attached to a record store so you can shop around while waiting for your bagel. I do wish they had other cheese options for the bagels, but overall I really enjoyed the fluffy dense bagels and the eggs were fluffy and filling. Would definitely stop back in for another sometime!“

“Vosen’s has been my parents go to place for German bread in Utah since I was a small kid. So when I was in SLC I thought I would stop by and grab them a bag of Kaiser rolls. And I was blown away by the updates and the storeFirst off, the service is great! All of them are friendly, knowledgeable and so nice!I ordered a sandwich for my hour drive home, it was delicious! And didn’t cost me $20.Parents loved the rolls! Said they needed to go back to Germany, so that in itself should He a reason to go.When in SLC again, I will make that a place to go :)“

“I really enjoy stopping by Millcreek. Their coffee is really great and I appreciate the friendly staff. It’s really interesting to see the roasting happening, which also creates some nice white noise in the background. The tall ceilings, spread out tables, and natural light make it a very nice atmosphere it get work done.“
“Words cannot describe how delicious these cheesecakes are! We got 4 of the classic flavors to test the place out and we’re already planning another trip down from Ogden to Salt Lake to buy more because we want all of them. If you like cheesecake even a little, you have to try Momo’s Cheesecakes. They’re too good to be allowed on this earth“

“The spiral croissants (lemon and raspberry) were delicious! Crispy texture and fluffy on the inside. The cream was thick and delicious (if ever so slightly sweeter than I’d like). My soy latte was perfect. Kiernan was a polite, lovely server. My only complaint was the side of ham was so tiny for the price.“

“Love having Granary Bakehouse in the neighborhood. While it’s a smaller selection, everything we’ve tried has been wonderful. The olive sourdough loaf is out of this world. Prices are fair and staff are lovely. We used to frequent Tulie, but since trying Granary for the first time a while back, we’ve shifted pretty much exclusively to Granary based on quality, price, and staff. Can’t wait to go again!“
“great atmosphere. I will admit i was weary at first because of its shared space with a restaurant, but it was casual, not loud, way more of a third space than work space. to me, and that is not a bad thing. they have espresso tonics on their menu and I appreciate that. the staff were really kind and caring with smiles. i like their design choices.“

“What a cute place to enjoy food, good ambience, positive vibes, yummy drinks, and delicious baked goods. I'm so happy to find this place! The associates were so patient and helpful when I was trying to decide between three different types of foods and drinks. I ended up getting all of them because they sounded so good. Definitely a spot to, grab a book from one of their bookshelves,, and enjoy your food, sweets, and drinks.“

“Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci's is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven't had a baked good there I didn't love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.“
“Fell in love with this bread the minute I left Beltex butchers and tore into the French Baguette. I knew I'd found the best bread in Salt Lake City. Felt compelled to leave a review as I just went to Caputos specifically to pick up some Bread Riot bread. tried the Rye this time and it did not disappoint.“

“Mrs. Backer's is a Salt Lake Classic! They continue to make absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes, pastries, cookies, and more. It feels magical when you walk in this little shop, like you've stepped back in time and the smell is heavenly. I'm addition to the many tasty selections, they always have lovely, seasonal gift items, too. Everyone who works here is always really helpful and accommodating. Our family has gotten our birthday cakes here for over 25 years and the tradition continues!“

“Great local coffee shop with private (booth) or shared (farm table) seating options. If you get there early you'll find a solid selection of pastries and other baked goods. I had the breakfast empanadas most recently, they had been heated, but still had cold spots inside.“

“This panadería has earned my business. Sometimes in my lack of trying, I sometimes forget to seek out local joints. This past week I was like I want to explore and so I came upon this place. No lows no mids. The very high was the very courteous and helpful lady or "panadera" there. We engaged in chit chat and she even gave me advice on some local Mexican cuisine that I no doubt appreciated. So for her interaction alone it's 5 stars. Now speaking of their pan dulce "sweet breads" man I was definitely reminisced of my time back in Southern California. I was also surprised by their prices in a good way. Having lived in SoCal, Vegas and now here I've noticed the latter two have some crazy prizes for baked goods. So I was surprised when I picked some of my faves and paid about $1.33 on average for some that would have been way more expensive in Vegas and even in local markets here. So let's get going. Got home, made myself a pot of coffee and dove right in. I had seen that some people mention that although these were sweet breads they weren't overly sweet and I agree. Their strawberry turnover was crunchy, crispy, and airy making for perfect dunkability. Had a good taste and just nice bite overall. Solid 4 of 5. I also tried their what seems to be their croissant with vanilla cream as well as their version of a French horn. To me they were fairly similar. Biggest difference being the filled croissant was heftyyyy and packed full of vanilla cream. It was definitely good. I recommend this if you're not into overly sweet baked goods but still want a decadent filled pastry to hit the spot. 4.5 of 5. The highlight was the French horn. J'aime the French horn. That's about my knowledge of French now after high school lol. Man this is going to be my go to. Compared to the croissant this was a tad bit smaller but the pastry was 5 of 5. Crispy, crunchy, powder sugar covered goodness with a great tasting vanilla filling. Took a bite, sipped the coffee the mixture was just for a few seconds my brain stopped working. The pastry was flaky, crispy and the powder sugar wasn't overbearing. Again I took a bite and hit my coffee. Oh man I want to experience that euphoria again. Top notch. Super happy here, 2 thumbs up and the biggest head nod for sure.“

“I'm in Southern California and my sister skied in SLC and brought back some of your shortbread cookies and they were absolutely Delicious. I warmed them up slightly and the scent they exude in my kitchen was calorie in of itself. It'd be great if you opened a location here in the OC area. Totally calorie worthy“

“I just moved here from Florida last winter and during such I was looking for a local bakery for that “every now and again treat”. After a few trips I have gathered that between the extremely friendly service, the delicious baked goods, and the surprisingly scrumptious chicken salad on cheddar pretzel roll...this place is an amazing gem for the citizens of North Salt Lake/Bountiful/Woods Cross. Every time I go in I feel like a kid who just got handed $10 and a free pass from the tooth fairy. Love it!“
