“Recently had to make some very large and last minute mini cookie orders, and this location is the real MVP. They went above and beyond and got us what we needed and right on time. Cannot say the same about two other locations we contacted. Keep up the awesome work!“
“Oh migh goodness, what a discovery! The best bakery around. And gluten free. I typically avoid gluten because I feel better, but I struggle because, let's be honest, bread without wheat tastes horrible. I love French baguettes or that Dutch crunch. Or SF sour dough. And so I was astonished that this GF bakery in Bountiful is delicious! Plus the people who work there are super kind.“
“Great bread, muffins, etc., here! I always enjoy a slice of bread with a Keva juice from next door. However, the "slice" seems to have gotten bigger with time. Last time I was there, a young lady generously gave me a third of a loaf when I asked for a slice. Hmm. That's a bit much. So glad to have a bakery in Bountiful.“
“I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!“
“I love the cozy charm and delight in both the ambiance and the food! Baklava custard as well as moon milk in so many variations! And, of course, a classic Turkish coffee is a must! I like the fun flavored sugars and spices to add. Explore all three floors and various secret nooks each time you go back!“
“The hot honey sandos are great value and delicious. I also enjoyed a nice London fog. The few sweet pastries I’ve tried were just ok, even though they had sweet filling, the dough parts were too salty for my preference.I do think the croissants donuts are great and I’ve had some yummy shortbread cookies from this business before. The place has great natural lighting and friendly atmosphere. There’s a neat sitting area that could be cool for hosting small gatherings.Overall, I wish them success and I’d return to try other brunch offerings.“
“This place easily has the best Mexican pastries in Salt Lake City and even Utah. Their concha’s and tres leches are to die for! Whatever you get, you know it’ll be amazing. The family that owns it are also so kind and attentive. I can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Cute place it is pricy but the filled Doughnut are pretty big. I recommend that you share them they are very big and sweet! Also the drinks come in 1 size I would also share this. The custom cake orders are amazing and I also get complements and questions every time I bring this cake around.“
“Great little shop tucked in on State Street. Great selection for breakfast pastries. Huge portions! Great service--happy employees. Biggest drawback is the lack of parking because right in front of them is a bus stop, next to a construction site. But worth the risk of a parking ticket!!“
“You have to try their stuffed French Toast. I am still dreaming about the lemon cream cheese filling. It only had a hint of lemon, but a whole lotta good everything else. The blueberry compote was delicious. It was super busy and I can see why. I can't wait to take my son who lived in Paris back to see what he thinks.“
“This is one of my absolute favorite dessert stops in SLC. The desserts are cute and obviously delicious! It’s always a tough choice picking what I want, but they do offer samples so that helps in the decision. The staff is always kind and helpful.Parking: There’s ton of free parking in the back which is helpful because doki doki is located in a busy traffic area.“
“Loved this place! My boyfriend has celiac, so it's hard to find desserts he can eat-- especially ones that don't have a cross-contamination risk. Luckily we found this place not too far from us! The staff was so friendly and the bakery was so clean. We loved it!“
“Very cute little place with very yummy pie options!! We went here on Pi Day and it was decorated with balloons and banners to celebrate 3.14. We opted to have ours warmed and they were amazing. I will forewarn that the traditional size pie is pretty small - after finishing them you're left saying "that's all??" They're definitely worth a stop by, but I'd encourage getting one of the large sized options so you don't leave with the munchies :)“
“Overall a great spot to grab a quick bagel! Mostly street parking, with a few indoor tables and an outdoor patio. The shop is attached to a record store so you can shop around while waiting for your bagel. I do wish they had other cheese options for the bagels, but overall I really enjoyed the fluffy dense bagels and the eggs were fluffy and filling. Would definitely stop back in for another sometime!“
“I found Gourmandise while searching for a gluten free bakery in downtown Salt Lake City. To my pleasant surprise, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although they aren't a dedicated gluten free facility and there is risk of cross contamination, the waitress took the time to confirm that my food choices would not contain gluten, soy, or beef. I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious! The buerre blanc sauce was silky smooth and had just the right blend of flavors. For dessert, there were several gluten free options and I selected the flourless chocolate cake. It was very rich and satisfied my sweet tooth! I'll likely try an additional dessert or two before I leave town. I would definitely eat here again!Dietary restrictions: They have several menus online for dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan). I had many gluten free options from which to choose, although some had a high risk of cross contamination due to the fryer. They also have gluten free bread which can be used for sandwiches. The waitress took my allergies seriously and verified ingredients and cooking procedures with the chef to ensure I had a good experience. She also cautioned me about possible cross contamination from my food being in the same oven with glutinous bread. I appreciated her transparency and effort.“
“My coworker treated me to vosen today, I had never been. The sandwich I had was pretty good, I’d order it again!! I had their ice chai, it was my first time having it and was pleasantly surprised. They also gave us fresh rolls while waiting. It’s not a big space but large parties at a time“
“I really enjoy stopping by Millcreek. Their coffee is really great and I appreciate the friendly staff. It’s really interesting to see the roasting happening, which also creates some nice white noise in the background. The tall ceilings, spread out tables, and natural light make it a very nice atmosphere it get work done.“
“Can't say enough about Momo's cheesecake, unfortunately I can't say the same for the service. Each time I have come to the SLC location, the moment you walk in the atmosphere is very unwelcoming and while being helped by the female employee I'm treated as an inconvenience as though I'm disturbing her. I have now contemplated just ordering door dash pickup.“
“I used to volunteer there for 4 yrs 2007 to 2011 i loved every minute of it. Every time customers enter the doors of welfare square i always greet them with a smile. Welfare square is such a great place with great services. My most experiences that i will always cherish forever is when i was a customer service host which i love cause i get to help out customers with getting everything they need. I loved volunteering there because i get to meet new people and make new friends and i love being around people and kids that needs help!!“
“loved cupla. it's in a nice part of the city and the food is great. didn't read on the menu that the 16oz comes with 4 shots so my latte was a little more bitter than i like but that's my fault. great experience! music was a little loud tho“
“I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly, with good suggestions on the fare. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity (or the calories, really) to spring for a doughnut but after trying the pasties, I will certainly be back; the pasty itself was well sealed, very well filled (the ratio of bread to filling is good), and the bread itself is quite good. I enjoyed having the outer 'crust' as a thicker piece so that I could munch on it on its own before I dove into the thing proper. The filling was flavorful and savory, certainly hit the spot. I ordered two thinking I could eat them both, I was wrong; they are heavy and filling! Very much like seeing this kind of thing coming up more in SLC and I hope to return soon.“
“Love having Granary Bakehouse in the neighborhood. While it’s a smaller selection, everything we’ve tried has been wonderful. The olive sourdough loaf is out of this world. Prices are fair and staff are lovely. We used to frequent Tulie, but since trying Granary for the first time a while back, we’ve shifted pretty much exclusively to Granary based on quality, price, and staff. Can’t wait to go again!“
“great atmosphere. I will admit i was weary at first because of its shared space with a restaurant, but it was casual, not loud, way more of a third space than work space. to me, and that is not a bad thing. they have espresso tonics on their menu and I appreciate that. the staff were really kind and caring with smiles. i like their design choices.“
“Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci's is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven't had a baked good there I didn't love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.“
“Fell in love with this bread the minute I left Beltex butchers and tore into the French Baguette. I knew I'd found the best bread in Salt Lake City. Felt compelled to leave a review as I just went to Caputos specifically to pick up some Bread Riot bread. tried the Rye this time and it did not disappoint.“
“Great local coffee shop with private (booth) or shared (farm table) seating options. If you get there early you'll find a solid selection of pastries and other baked goods. I had the breakfast empanadas most recently, they had been heated, but still had cold spots inside.“
“Mrs. Backer's is a Salt Lake Classic! They continue to make absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes, pastries, cookies, and more. It feels magical when you walk in this little shop, like you've stepped back in time and the smell is heavenly. I'm addition to the many tasty selections, they always have lovely, seasonal gift items, too. Everyone who works here is always really helpful and accommodating. Our family has gotten our birthday cakes here for over 25 years and the tradition continues!“
“I just moved here from Florida last winter and during such I was looking for a local bakery for that “every now and again treat”. After a few trips I have gathered that between the extremely friendly service, the delicious baked goods, and the surprisingly scrumptious chicken salad on cheddar pretzel roll...this place is an amazing gem for the citizens of North Salt Lake/Bountiful/Woods Cross. Every time I go in I feel like a kid who just got handed $10 and a free pass from the tooth fairy. Love it!“
